All of the footage is recorded and compiled using the in-game replay system, which is openly available for all players to view and share public replays. Then it was edited and put together in a BO3 Match sequence in Adobe Premier Pro. All footage seen in this video is copyright-free. The purpose of this video is to provide high-level educational content of Tekken 8, so that viewers can learn new combos from high level ranked and pro players alike.
Tekken 8 is an upcoming fighting game co-developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Arika and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The eighth main and tenth overall installment in the Tekken series, the game is set to be released on January 26, 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows.

True that! 🤣 That's the only addition to Tekken that I didn't like. Took me a while to expect it from newer players, being that I've played Tekken since the 90s.

I Played Tekken since 1, stopped playing at 5.. played a little bit of 6 and 7 and jumped back in with 8. That rage art stuff is ridiculous.. .took me a while to stop running in on people who were low health cuz they would hit their rage art. And I kept losing time and time and time again. I finally got the hang of it, but yeah..... ridiculous feature for a Tekken game. @@XenoGuru

@hang1893 I wish that mechanic had been exclusive to T7 and left there. You can't put pressure on your opponents in low health anymore. While I like T8 better than 7, I'd still like a mode where it was like classic Tekken. Hopefully, they'll do that at some point

I love steve but he's difficult as hell, I just reached tenryu with him and its a fun but tough grind! (Also gonna add this is my first tekken, only played 7 a very small bit before 8)

I believe it’s dependent on what Steve’s current hairstyle is. Certain hairstyles don’t mesh well with his boxing hoodie (they would clip through it) so the game opts to just keep the hoodie off from the beginning. Hairstyles like the buzzcut or Steve’s default haircut are fine though and cause no issues

I always hated Steve's costume and head but this version is bearable enough that I will have to give him practice to get good with him. I box and so it'll be great fun if i can master him cause he can be my avatar in a sense. My main is usually Paul who is....A little stiff compared to other characters....He's well rounded and strong, but a lil slower with some things than most it feels.

I never thought to rage art kings heat activation. Can you do that against the rest of the cast?

Yes actually. Rage arts beat out heat burst and heat smash but are susceptible to block and grab It also depends on which point you start the rage art and health etc. So it's not always good to go for it but if you can catch your opponent lacking it'll get them. It should also be noted you can cancel the heat burst attack animation by tapping back twice and I believe they will still be able to block

I think the character customisation just puts the hood down so you can see what you’re doing, the hood will be on at match beginning

What I can takeaway is he always applying pressure and going for counter hits. But that spin move was something I was not expecting plus I barely saw him use the other stances.

i dont think this dude the number 1 steve, also does anyone else feel like characters went down in skill? not players, but i feel like combos and movement was peak in tekken 7 despite the hate, and it got way worse now in 8. side stepping is much harder for no real reason.

Probably gonna get some crazy reply, but if Steve was a young African American guy, (not some cliche bs.), then I might actually like Steve. I love tekken and love the designer - but he can be a freaking dinosaur sometimes.. Anyway, great gameplay, seriously.

@Virtuozo_gg lol, well for better and for worse, he's definitely not the one to add diversity for the sake of diversity, or to just do what the fans want all the time, and I commend him for that. Anyway, the roster is great and who knows what's in store in the future.
