It’s not only Mandalorians. I loved the episode where he worked with both Free Town and the Sand Raiders in Tatooine. He was using diplomacy to get two groups with a long standing feud come together and take down a Krayt Dragon. That’s badass and inspiring. Qualities of a good leader.

The dreamer and the realist is such a cool dynamic. If leadership ever comes from them I’d hope it comes from them together. I’m not one for injecting romance into Star Wars but a symbiotic relationship between the two makes so much sense.

Yeah, that's what I am hoping for too. However, keep in mind; though Din is willing to work with what he considers Apostate Mandalorians, he doesn't compromise his own faith. Additionally he was willing to do what was necessary, however he was also aware of a remedy. He also removed his helmet in front of the imperials when getting the codes they needed too. So it was actually two transgressions of his oath, not just the one. Din reminded the Armourer of the remedy for his transgression. Even though she didn't think it possible, he held out hope for the mine's survival and his own redemption. I also agree that Din And Bo would make a good team. Both will have to meet each other in the middle, but it could work. They remind me a lot of my own parents. Formidible people who actually do have faith and a soft heart. Hopefully Disney won't bring any woke nonsense into the mix.

He's a good fusion of tradition and willingness to adapt to other views.

I can see Bo Katan trying to help Din accept that he is worthy of the Dark Saber so he stops struggling with it. Helping him become more of a leader for his people even if he doesn't become Mandalore.

Honestly I hope they don't go the route of trying to set Din up as the new Mandelore. Not only does he not want to be (I know that's generally considered a good trait in a leader to us) but he's also completely not suited for leading an entire people. He generally is quiet, doesn't take charge, is soft spoken, and generally would have no idea how to actually lead an entire people. These are not traits fit for a leader on top of the fact that he just doesn't want to. I'd rather see Bo-Katan take that and than Din can go do his own thing which would be much more of what I want to watch from the character. They can do a Bo-Katan spinoff if they want, to follow the happenings and rebuilding of the greater mandelorian civilization, but that's not what I want to watch Din do.

I would say the best leader of the tribes would be the Armorer. She is highly intelligent, commands respect, and the most needed.

As most of the Mandalorians have stated about the Mythosaur. That was just that, a myth. And it did not exist. Even Boca tan has said that. Now that she has seen it. She is the only one alive that has ever saw it. She can use that. And with the Dark Saber. Along with the bathing in the waters. Will all in her favor or taken the Throne again.

Sure sure, however this Creed of them is quite problematic by itself... just remembering the war path of the Mandalore should be enough. Not removing Helmet means not showing each face to each other or to others... that means no lies, no pantomime, no deception thru fake emotions... but at the same time means no communication, which means only war and conquest. Progressiveness is always a danger, to leave values and morals behind... but sometimes it’s needed to mitigate primitive ways and modernize them to work in the present. Honor and bravery don’t work with out empathy and sympathy, a real face is needed... or “how much pain did any Mandalorian in these last two episodes did anyone see (thru their helmets on)???”, that’s a problem

Honestly, we really need more characters that are almost like Bo-Katan, *except they unflinchingly never change their diehard opinions and beliefs.* Just saying.

The general audience doesn't care about any of this stuff. And if Disney can't sell to a general audience, it gets cut. This thing is on the block and if the next few episodes don't inspire the average viewer, it's gone.

Especially with the new episode he convinced the mandos to fight and brought them back into the light and inadvertently caused Bo katan to get the position of uniting the clans of mandos

it really seems like Mando is being set up as the person who will reunite the Mandalorians and reclaim Mandalore.

It would be interesting to see a three-way fight between Din, Bo and Paz Vizla when Paz challenges Din for the Darksaber again and pulls a dirty trick only for Bo to step in and uses the Darksaber

After the last episode it seemed more like Din is her champion night and keeps her grounded. Like a warrior poet almost l.

I've been wondering why she doesn't think that Boba is a Mandalorian

Prior to being considered an apostate, Din Jarin worked with Bo Katan and the Nite Owls because it was more of a transactional agreement. First he needed information from Bo Katan about the location of remaining Jedi (Ashoka Tano). Then he also had to make an agreement with Boba Fett in order to get out of the mess he was in when him and Grogu arrived on Tython. He later needed their services when it came to confronting Moff Gideon. Without the transaction I don’t think Din would have been so open to them and would probably dismiss them as not being Mandalorian!
