I like Gears but the fact that it doesnt have a transparent ranked SR system is a huge problem for me. As someone whos trying to get better at gaming in general i can play tons of games from sports (like FC24 or MLB) to racing, fighters, shooters, mobas even card games like Hearthstone and Legends of Runeterra where i get SR feedback of how im doing and improving. This lets me put energy into learning and training in the game where i can see progress overtime. Gears you are stuck in a system where there is no sr feedback and you are constantly matched with people of various skill levels as opposed to being put in increasing skill level lobbies as you get better. Thats the biggest reason why i cant put real time into this game when theres so many other things i can play and accomplish that on. And there is no active scrim or ladder system like gamebattles use to be where you can play in games that meant a little more and had more of the competitive team strategy feel to it. I hope that they put things like game replays and a real rank system in the new game. Training modes would be great but the rank system and replay mode are the biggest two to me
Wont lie, bro, you re ignited my drive to play Gears, i haven't played since 2019, and your videos got me hooked on. I can't wait for E day, bro. Keep this up you'll be big one day
This is one of those games that I always tell my friends that it's easy to pick up, difficult to master. Watching it happen at a high level is so damn satisfying. Playing against it however makes me angry cuz I'm mid as fuck 😂😂 Hopefully E-Day delivers.
The thing about Gears is that, it’s a difficult game to play at a competitive level or ranked level (GoW 5 being the exception to the rule because it’s extremely easy and noob friendly). Aside from its relentless difficulty, it’s also a gory game. It sucks that the cool things that make this game unique and interesting, are the things that holds it back.
Old gears took more thought here if you solid at wallbouncing and the bs this game has you can beat anyone practically. This game is more wallbounce and less thought
@@brianp6169 I wouldn't say it doesn't but it's no where near the skill it took in gears 2 or 3 . The game is where it's at now because they watered it down sooooo much. You could never kill ppl with just two hits from the shotgun as far as you can now
Played my first matches yesterday! Learning on a ps5 controller with your tutorial setup on my pc, got one multi kill and never killed again for an hour 😂😂 games hard but fun I'll keep trying.
I think a game being niche isn't so bad, since dedicated fanbases are nice to have. New Gears games releasing every two years or so honestly just can't happen with the way game development is now. They'd be shit if it did.
I feel like the game need more variety, In terms of guns which I know in Gears lore it's only a handful amount, plus maybe new game mode with higher player count perhaps? but I'm trying to think of what other 3rd person shooter multiplayer is like really successful you know, Uncharted, Rouge company multiplayer never really had a big spark,
That’s funny the first game when y answered the question bout the skins I was on that live and u answered my question. That’s mb bro for me calling them suits idk why I said that plus I ain’t played gears in so long it’s been years like before gears 4 came out. I hope in the future I can buy a Xbox and get gears. I’m a PS5 person now
I watched a few of your vids , i rnjoyed them because of nostalgia. I personally hate gears 5 and stopped playing because it got watered down. Most of tht shit you were doing would never fly in gears 2 and three. I really hope they get back to the basics to rebuild their fanbase
All of your titles lately been about how good you are. Stay humble there's always a bigger dog out there that doesn't feel the need to bark. It's a bad look on you. Dial it back brother. Keep grinding though
@@slashreign growing the channel strategically by titles n thumbnails that pull the most traction in the algorithm, so if it looks “not humble” to you I apologize.
