#Bannerlord #bannerlordmultiplayer This video is a bit different from my usual ones. I'm experimenting if more commentary over casual gameplay is suitable for my audience. Enjoy! Game: Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord
@@sirlee5264 Warband was easier in terms of differentiating the forms of directional attacks, but faster in that they shift through the forms like beyblades on with alzheimers
Enjoyed the video! I've got a long way to go too, but an observation if I may:- against Hemsworth he was getting free pressure and multiple attacks on your left side and I think it's because (a) your mouse sensitivity is a little low, and (b) your footwork was a bit predictable. If someone is pressuring you like that, and you predict they are going to swing out of initiative, you should be able to get a hard punish, but because of your camera direction and footwork you were at a disadvantage in these situations. Keep up the content! 👍 Edit: the other thing that came to mind is that, if you think about how Hemsworth attacks, he is constantly circling you, which means his mouse is moving in one direction (his left). You can see when he resets his mouse position because he does a quick movement, and sometimes a spin. 99% of players will only side block when they reset, so thrusting or doing and overhead is a good punish for those situations.
I spin because of my FOV actually. My main class is cav so I need to see my character closer than infantries. I spin those moments because sometimes I can't see my back at kind of these situations. And also... I need to work on my kicks but yeah... horse is much important for me xD. Nad another thing, I see I missed some kick-slash moments, that is because of my turkish ping I have nothing to do about it xD. Anyways it was a very fun duel and congrats to sir lee ^^
It's like fighting a Jedi. I'm curious if all the movement tricks the new AI blocking the way it confuses a player trying to block, because I've been struggling with it.
Well yes, but it depends on the ping you get from a server. I use a VPN which helps ping quite a lot, but this will only really make servers playable in ones where you are getting 100 ping or less.
Bannerlord is awesome but it's combat mechanics in multiplayer... God it's awful to play with the kind of players. Fights are a real nonsense and look so ugly ! But they really master their technics to be fair.
Yeah, it’s probably unrealistic compared to a real sword fight. I wish there was something we could come up with to make it more friendly to newer players.
@@sirlee5264 Honestly, this would probably be shit, but make it so if a player is getting a swing ready, their sensitivity is increased heavily so that you can't do extreme spins and tricks when swinging but you can if you're blocking or simply moving normally. Might encourage less silly feints but I could see a lot of players getting upset just because of the time investment needed to get this good.
That depends on what you want to do. There are plenty of clans that would love to have new players that regularly train with them. I can give your a few recommendations for that if you want.
Sûre! If you want to play some time then hit me up. If you don’t want to be recorded then that’s fine if that’s what you mean about respecting privacy.
@@sirlee5264how do you deal with hold and fake slash or the guy you’re dueling’s fast attack. They are the best players usually. If you still play the game that is
@@abdirahman8111 Yeah, I still play. When a player is holding they essentially have you cornered. First thing is don't panic and try not to move forward too much or you may place yourself in a kick slash. Hold the correct blocking position, and try to quickly fake an attack and block again to experiment to break it. If they keep holding try to see if you can manage to to get your sword all the way out attack wise, and initiate a blow as fast as possible. Angles matter.
I’m guessing you didn’t have a great experience. Was it with the multiplayer? I’m thinking that the game is just really difficult for new players to hop in at this point. Which worries me because we desperately need a larger community. In terms of mechanics, Bannerlord is the best I’ve seen, but only because there are so few of these kinds of games.
@@sirlee5264 No, I loved Warband and I like Bannerlord. But I'm playing it mainly it for its realism, not for this weirdo E-sports style competion. And I don't like 'exploits'. Imho there should be at least something like "exhaustion" so you can't wield around a sword for minutes like a maniac.
@@redstar5594 Yeah, when it comes to realism, It’s no where close to actual sword combat. I don’t know any multiplayer games that have that realism your looking for.
This strafing Cheesing of the game is not appealing sincerely. It ruins really the battle. This stuff should be connected to stamina, if one uses it is just done and slows down etc. The diabolic strafing is seriously eye aching too. How come Tale Worlds let this go when they have a very nice game? why ruining it like this...? To play shooters u just reduce your DPI and surely u don't strafe like this which damages your focus ability... Sincerely... hard to watch this stuff.
