I appreciate that a South African is in Tanzania. Can you imagine? Forty years ago there was the bloody Vaal uprising under Apartheid and the dreams of a socialist Tanzania were dying after economic collapse and the war with Uganda. And here we are - full citizens able to laugh on our roads and comment on our countries for all our people to see online. Just imagine what the future can be. And I appreciate that you talked about the fact that because there are high gates doesn’t mean that in Tanzania there is a lack of safety or that it’s a country where people envy each other to the point of harming their neighbor. That’s not the case……yet.

Lived in Arusha in the 70/80s. This is amazing transformation. Would be nice If you could try to mention the various locations that your in or nearby landmarks to help some of us work out the the neighbourhood you are in,
