Isabelle May got the role in 1883 because of her performance in Run, Hide, Fight. However because it was distributed on The Daily Wire you can't seem to mention it.
Sam Eliot's filmography is huge but I thought you might have mentioned his rôle in A star is born that earned him an oscar nomination for Best supporting actor
REALLY???? You're just gonna ignore movies like Roadhouse for Sam Elliott and The Blind Side for Tim McGraw and especially Run Hide Fight for Isabel May, who happen to the THE star and action hero of that movie?
Isabel May stared in "Run, HIde, Fight!.". But you seem to neglect to mention that. Or was it because the movie distribution happened to be a conservative company and you didn't want to give them free press.
Totally forgot McGraw was in the season 4 flashback. Really loved 1883. It's essentially a "grimdark" series, but I enjoyed it more than Yellowstone which has gone on too long. Also noticed that the sister in 1883 (two episodes) also plays in Yellowstone currently as the manipulative love interest to the adopted son.
Its interesting that you didn't mention Isabel May's role in the movie Run Hide Fight. She gave an amazing performance in that movie. Probably one of the best of her career.
Why didn't they mention Isabel May starred in the movie "Run Hide Fight?" It was a very good movie. So why didn't they mention it? Probably because it was produced by Blaze TV which is a more conservative leaning production company.
THe John Dutton in 1883 is the Geat, Great, Great grandfather to Consner's chatacter in Yellowstone. Go watch the Taylor Sheridan interview lady and get your info straight.
This show started out so amazing. After about 3 episodes it started to go downhill fast. Starts out as a show about traveling across the wild west, turns into some lame "coming of age" story for the main girl.
Although I agree with your point of view, I was so upset about the death of Ennis...that pretty much ended it for me. I understand that the traveling was perilous and needs to be shown in that way. I really liked the Ennis and Elsa romance thing and after seeing some coming attractions...it seems the show goes down hill for me. Elsa and an Indian? Really? I hope that her deathbed words are "Ennis".
Tim Mcgraw a bigger star than Sam Elliot. Eh idk he has way more money for sure. But pretty sure most people probably recognized Sam Elliot out of any of the cast. Also Sam has been in a ton more films. Many leading roles as well. That like comparing Brad Pitt to LeBron James. They both have big fan bases and both done films. But who is the bigger movie star? Easier to answer I would guess.
I don’t know who did the screen test for Faith Hill , but yikes! She is awkward! She must think she is still in the Stepford Wives roles , she is so stiff ! But she talented otherwise 😀
Elsa does the voice-over in the opening sequence of 1923. That show did not grab me at all. The journey of 1883 is finished -- the ranch is established and it's just more politics. Harrison Ford at 35 was great, at 75 or 80 he's less interesting. Pass.
Faith and Tim could have been left out of this show. They were the least of the actors on the screen. I have a long list of people they could have casted instead of those two.
