there is nothing anyone has to DO to be blessed. & everyone prays. everyone prays to God. thoughts to God are prayers. you can ask & eventually you will receive if it's meant for you. not everyone is public about their faith. you really need to understand there's no "committing" in terms of doing something. there's no requirement for heaven. people either believe or they don't. it's that simple. no one's required to believe. it does not mean they're going to hell. I really appreciate this video. Thanks for opening up! I have a question though. Isn't submission only suppose to come into play in marriage? The Bible says, wives submit to your husbands as unto the Lord. It doesn't say, girlfriends submit to your boyfriends as unto the Lord. If we're not married, then we're both suppose to submit directly to God and no one else.
Cwayita Madala how can you know what godly mutual submission looks like in a marriage if it's not practiced beforehand. That's like saying the proverbs 31 woman qualities are only reserved for a married woman with children. How do you possess those qualities beforehand without a husband and kids? You can't expect submission to appear in marriage if it wasn't even practiced leading up to it
Cwayita Madala I think submission in the absolute sense is for marriage, and you can do damage giving that full submission to a man who doesn't align with God's will for your life. But, there is a very true sense of submission that is important in the courting process- but I personally pray for God to prepare me for my husband, while heightening my discernment: so if the guy ain't right, my blooming submission won't merge into what it shouldn't

It's Matthew 5:15 about Christians being the light of the world for Christ and the Holy Spirit in us so we shouldn't hide or subdue that or dim our light. And 1 Thessalonians talking about not quenching the Holy Spirit and locking Jesus up on the inside of us. We need to be bold and set Jesus free

The Blessing Report Not quite the answer I was looking for, so let me clarify. The bible tells women to submit to their husbands yes, but it also tells men to submit to their wives. So why can't a woman of God lead a man to the cross, when she is is just as equipped to do so as he is?

Michelle Jean-Baptiste Ephesians also says for slaves to submit to their masters. this is not up for RE-INTERPRETION. people were actually slaves to others during the time Ephesians was written. the bible does not tell women to submit to their husbands, it tells the GENTILES of that period to submit to their husbands. & this is for a SPECIFIC reason. it was NOT a requirement, it was a request. the bible does not say submit to YOUR husband.
