I appreciate that you did what was best for low elo instead of immediately doing the "correct" play like pushing even though you would normally freeze. A lot of other coaches just play as they always do and i struggle to emulate them.
Yeah there is definitely a sweet spot, I think it's hard to all of a sudden just 'turn off' your habit and autopilot after refining it for 10+ years of play. That being said I do try to just keep the game as simple as possible, because that's all that is required to climb in most Elos
You already have 'high sub streamer' energy, didn't realise you were a rare gem until almost 10 min into the relaxing vibe that was your vid. (The reason I checked was cus I wanted to sub), so good on you my guy. Keep it up, and put down the work and energy! Also use ai for what its worth, my man)
Thank you man I appreciate that a lot :D it feels kind of hit or miss sometimes when all RU-vid shows you is a view counter, so it's nice when people comment positive things. Also what do you mean use AI?
Hey big man, thanks for the gameplay, very useful! It would be extra great if you would talk about matchups for a bit, like against kata when to use w, when to trade, when to all in etc. 😊
Interesting, I feel like it would be insane vs most melees and bad vs a lot of control mages. Yone can maybe beat garen in sidelane ones he gets botrk + tank item? But Fizz should FOR SURE be a garen favored matchup in the isolated 1v1 atleast
You know. I never knew that. Starting W is still better in these matchups to avoid taking dmg. Plus the stacks arent useful till you've skilled up W. But good to know it stacks without levelling it
@@Sjorry usually i start e against ranged matchups and full push the wave, if they are focused on last hitting they can't hit me. You usually have enough sustain with doran shield, second wind and passive to ignore early poke. Just take it on the nose and focus on the farm is what i would suggest for beginners on garen.
@@milancora4637 It might just be because I'm viewing it from a challenger perspective but that sounds like an awful way of playing it. Your E doesn't kill the wave very quickly lvl 1, you will lose half of your HP on wave one and Enemy will still get all last hits. And if the enemy is good they might be able to slow down your push enough to keep the wave on their side of the lane after you lose half your health and then you can't touch the wave. This seems like an EXTREMELY RISKY way of playing where you can INSTANTLY lose the lane in many different ways if your enemy is just decently competent. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING THIS AT ALL. BEST CASE SCENARIO YOU GET TO PUSH A WAVE - WHICH DOESNT REALLY MATTER. WORST CASE YOU LOSE THE LANE ON THE SPOT. Just chill till ur lvl 3-5 and then start pushing
@@NyXeK fortunately both are very uncommon in midlane. Although i think generally the ADC mids are hard for garen - like ezreal Lucian tristana akshan corki. But i think at some point garen gets tanky enough to oneshot the wave and then roam
It really bothers me when people say “ do this because all silvers, god etc do it”. This inspires poor habits. Commentary is great but misinformation will keep people down in rank. You keep talking about macros but are soo indecisive it hurts your gameplay. I’m not talking poor on you like I said the commentary is great. Best of luck!
@stevenm2216 Ill just make it a point to show them in the intro of the video. If i recall this game was phase rush, nimbus cloak, celerity, gathering storm with resolve secondary with demolish and either second wind or conditioning or boneplating. But honestly i do not remember. If you take these runes you can't really go wrong though, take second wind vs Ranged and boneplating vs melee is the general rule
@OldEnglishMan Creep score! Its when you kill a minion. The best way of getting gold in League is to last hit minions, so if you just started id recommend practicing that, its by far the most important skill for new players. The only roles where you dont need to last hit is jungle and support
