This is why I can't own a 1000hp Supra... Something that I've been enjoying lately is just looking up random car mods for Assetto Corsa, downloading them, and seeing how they drive. Today I had the idea of looking up "1000HP Toyota Supra", and I was not let down. Not only does this thing sound absolutely insane, but it is a ton of fun to drive as well. Oh yeah that’s definitely not a drift car don’t feel so bad about how difficult it was. If you wanna get sideways in a non drift car my tip would be to stay much lower angle than you’re used to with the drift cars but yeah regardless it’s clear that it’s not setup as a drift car anyway so all of your drifting instincts where causing you to spin. Such a sick supra mod tho though perfect sounding car for the cruise 😎

Have you ever tried out Descenders? It has a ton of modded maps and whatnot and can be a good time. Some bmx and downhill biking stuff. Keep up the awesome work!

Since you kinda asked for help at 8:16, I can at least maybe point out why the two turns didn't link at 8:10. For the first corner you came off throttle after initiation at the right time in order to prevent the car from spinning out. You gradually got back on throttle and caught the drift and made it to the 2nd corner, but you failed to get into drift after transitioning into the 2nd corner because you didn't get back on enough throttle quick enough to kick the rear end out OR you needed to clutch kick because even though you were back to full throttle you were at low rpm so you needed to break the rear tires loose again. So the car gripped up and it went straight (although you did try a clutch kick to re-initiate, but it was just a bit too late at that point). Hope it helps! To be fair though you are trying to drift a 1,000hp Supra which is no easy task!

Love the vid. Wondering if you have any tips/advice for sim drifting from what you've learned so far. I was really good on controller but now that I have a full rig it's frustrating cuz I can't even link two turns. Probably just need more seat time tbh :/

Seat time helps tremendously, but also the car pack you choose. I started with Tandobuddies which is a bit more arcadey but it can help with the frustration 😂 then just slowly start using more realistic car packs

you gotta change where your shifter is my man. also a hydro handbrake right next to your steering wheel between the wheel and shifter. sequential is much better too. cost me around 3k for everything. so worth it. i also shift with my left hand etc. so much more satisfying when you get used to it.

Yeah I’m waiting for some parts to come to find a different mounting place for my shifter. My shifter has a sequential setting that I use with certain cars, but I want it all LHD so it’s as close as possible to my real S13

if u put in the time you would become a pretty decend race driver. here in germany we have a few streamers and youtubers who got into race driving by playing games and now are a round the semi-professional race circus
