I gotta give you props for being a responsible dog owner. There are a lot of people out there that get these dogs but don't train them nor put in the time to make them a great dog.
leash reactivity. socialization is not the only issue....but its really hard around other reactive/aggressive dogs to teach them to chill. BUT he doesnt have a good heel, the dogs forge ahead, so he thinks he needs to defend. Operator error.
Yeah I thought maybe I spotted this too, the big one thinks he is the pack leader so is more likely to get defensive if provoked. Its easy to see that they are very good natured and well socialised dogs though, the owner should be proud.
Propa responsible is not to let his dog off the lead💯 ...and it's luck ...and only luck if his dog is not involved in a dog fight or dog death..a small dog woud be insta death not even a muzzle ..?...like he stated his self..his dog will be responsible regardless....Xl Bully is still a pittbull type ..uk police don't Pett.....why would you want police looking at ur kennels..with other pittbulls ...was even talking about the ABKC show how does that even work ?....does Debbo get shown ina Dog Crate ...?...lol wtf
@@testerviron the law says you can let your dog off it’s lead - obviously if your dog responds to a recall - if u want to be even more careful u do it in a space where it is safe - and no other dogs about - that’s pretty much what this guy has done - plus X-L bullies are legal in this country
@@Chelsealover-j2k you can let ur dog off the lead bro but if ur dog is at risk of killing another person's dog where is the logic....?..not even a muzzle .? ..and taking the Bitch as well ...might as well get her involved....?..don't make sense when police are just gonna be at ur door ...getting a character test on all ur dogs.when it comes to pittys police man have no shame ..a reactive dog is a liability...Nice dog yh ...but no balance is damaged goods ..how do you even show a reactive dog ?...going out daily worried ur dog is gonna kill a loose dog on lead is stress enough.....help ur self I say
I was in my local petsmart and someone brought in this beautiful black billie. I ask the owner if I could pet him, he said yes. That was the most well mannered I've ever come across, and handsome to boot!
Thank you for these videos. Educational. I’m grateful for showing me their recall and their story. Also as another dog owner it’s good to hear your comment about not being on your phone … be with our dogs on our walk together…safe for them and all. 🙏🏻
People who can’t control their dogs just ruin it for everyone else , that’s why I don’t walk my dogs in areas where others walk there’s, just not worth the risk
Yes I want let my dogs off lead when dogs and people are about it’s god manners my dogs don’t like dogs just running up with no dog manners it really winds me up I have a yellow collar on one off my dogs saying he is nervous he isn’t dangerous just gets spooked when dogs run up when you tell people to get them on the leash they just say it’s ok my dogs fine I say yes but mine older one gets nervous they just carry on
Yeah i have the same problem with one of my dogs she doesn’t like other dogs annoying her but when walking my bully it’s the opposite a lot of people soon put theirs on a lead or ask my if they want me to put Theirs on a lead but she loves other dogs and wants to play with them but I think most people are scared of her which is sort of a good thing in a way as it sort of stops any problems happening as their dog would probably come of worse
great to see! I have an XL girl, same as yours, she's a big teddy bear, she'll roll on her back for pretty much every dog to be submissive, but had a few occasions lately where dogs have gone for her, and she's started to become more defensive. I think the point you made about staying off your phone and being aware is the main thing when with your dog. Too many people are too wrapped up in their phone to be able to be responsible
Its not the persons fault but the genetics of the dog unfortunately. These dogs are aggressive, and they do attack, and bite.. and maim. Out of interest, when you decided to get a very aggressive breed of dog known for killing children and other animals, what made you think it was a good idea? Just curious because everyday here in the UK we are seeing another sad story where these dogs are killing people and every time the owners say "they wouldnt hurt a fly" but yet it still keeps happening.
@@TheLucyKemp this is an actual crazy statement. We are seeing the stories - I'm in the UK, so hear and see it and totally feel upset the same way everyone does. I'll go back to my previous point, it's purely down to ownership. A tiny dog could do the same thing, a child could attack another child - dogs aren't born evil. Most Bullys got sold through covid, as an accessory to little gangsters who had them to look cool. They haven't cared for them, looked after them or trained them. statistically you're more likely to get bitten by a jack russell. It's just XL bullys are far more capable hence the bite tends to lead to far greater injuries or death. If a jack russel had the same muscular capability, they would undoubtedly cause more murders. With proper ownership, diligent training, these Bullys are incredible companions. I've had mine round my baby nephews, neighbours children everyone. What i do think a good solution would be.. require a license to have one, where you need to prove the training/attention you give the dog. I just hope you stop being emotional about the current state and think rationally because it's being campaigned these dogs should be banned, and that would be a travesty. We just need safe and responsible ownership. p.s I got another this week and again, i've spent 2 hours every day training it - and I appreciate it's my job with a dog this capable to ensure it's safe, obedient and on-lead in any environment where there's other people
Got to say that i go through the same feelings when I’m out with my two Staffordshire’s! My two have been attacked numerous times but my dogs will not retaliate, I deal with the situation before it becomes a problem That means disciplining somebody else’s dog! Love your dogs mate👌🏻
You said you have full control over your dog , NO, YOU HAVE NOT, if your dog decided to break free from you to attack someone or someone’s pet, then you are not strong enough to hold them back, I’ve seen this many times before (not literally but I’ve seen it on Facebook) , it happened to me too the dog was a Staffie looking dog, nowhere near as big as yours but obviously still very strong, AND, the owner was male, luckily I saw it breaking free and was able to pick my little dog up JUST in time
Exactly and he says it himself when he sees the small dog offlead and then goes and lets his dog offlead further down the path...but hes such a good owner and trainer...and theres not a problem with the breed...the whole narrative and video is contradictory...dogs fight people...are you physically strong enough to restrain your dog or not? The only dog capable of fatally injuring one of these dogs is another bull breed and according to aĺl the bull breed owners on here all of theirs are fine...so you can all join a club together and aĺl take your bull breeds to eachothers houses and let them frollic dance and love and cuddle eachother right...because theyre all so gentle and youve all got such great control off them and even if they get in a bit of a scuffle you will be able to just say stop being so naughty and let go of your mates throat and theyll trot back over to you with their perfect obedience and all will be well... Please post all these videos of their playtime together so we can all learn how to train our problem dogs.
Thanks for sharing this video. I'm an owner of a gamebred intact male APBT, and every day when we go on our walks is a new adventure lol. My dog is well trained, socialized and obedient, but you never know who/what you will encounter and I just have to hope that other dog owners are sensible as I am. It's not easy owning these types of dogs; and the discrimination, fear and downright hatred ppl show against the "pit bull"/bully breeds is frustrating for responsible owners like myself. Thanks!
Tbh it’s not a responsible bully breed owner it’s a responsible dog owner… people be saying it like you don’t have to do the same with any other large dog breed… I’m an animal behavioralist, and from my experience the dogs that come to me with the most problems are German Shepard’s, boxers, and Dalmatians… I literally have only seen a handful of bullies that were dangerous dogs, people need to remember the American bully was bred from a pitbull and mixed with staffies, and bulldogs to get a less aggressive but thicker dog breed…
love how chilled yet on point you are with your dogs. i used to keep a big pack but ill health means down to 3 now. gorgeous dogs defo worth a sub for sure. my male staff is the same with other dogs so he’s on lead all the time. so many people give me shit cus of his attitude an when i ask for them to put there dogs on leash if there likely to approach and the abuse i get. great vid bro 🍻
Nice video,I've got a 10 year old American bulldog (Scott)if I could turn the clock back I would do a few things differently especially when she was younger,I take mine out at five in the morning to get her exercise before it gets too busy.👍🐕🏴
A TRUE responsible dog owner, im liking this guy more and more, so much RESPECT for you how you are with your dogs, and ur thinking much love ur leading by example, THANK YOU 💙
donno about that. The poor female looks like she been bred more than she should. That male is really dominance posturing in every situation with other dogs even when he's being "friendly". Probably why he keeps getting attacked, and no one seems aware. To add they are all dilute colors which is bad for the health, but mass produced because it is highly profitable selling to low quality owners who care more about having a metallic dog than a healthy dog. Show me a kennel with nothing but fashion colors, and I'll show you an irresponsible breeder.
@@TheBurrito171 sounds like jelousy to me!! You can be a responsible owner and still have a dog who's protection is in the blood, so it naturally wants to defend, and like he said his dogs has been attacked, so again a dog is gonna be on guard if it's happened to it, DOES NOT MEAN HES A BAD OWNER!! HATERS GONNA HATE HATE HATE!!!
@@saifysdesignerclowns6867 I love protection dogs. Will never have non protective breedr. But dominance got nothing to do with protection instinct. It helps to have a confident dog when doing PPD training, but its possible to have a submissive and very protective dog. What this boy is doing is not being protective, its basically the dog equivalent of showing a middle finger to everyone you see. And thats why he's getting attacked. That's not even a big deal if you have a real working mastiff breed (which a bully is not supposed to be technically), in fact it can sometimes almost be expected. The irresponsible part is that the owner doesn't even seem to realize that's whats going on with the dog. He's not "friendly", even when they thought he was. You have a dog like this, let alone many, you should be advanced enough to know better.
I know exactly what you mean about taking your dogs out I have a Staffordshire bull terrier and he has a good temperament and I sometimes have to keep him on his lead because of over people's dogs of their leads coming over and going for him like you said looking at their phones. You have some beautiful dogs ✌️
My advice to you for keeping Deebo under more control is to always snap him out of focusing on other dogs when on the leash. And definitely avoid any tension with the leash
Your dogs are beautiful, I had a pitull boxer mix named Lady and some people are the worst, they would cross the street when they saw us coming. Lady was the sweetest girl and loved everyone if they would of just gave her the chance.
That horrendous, fatal dog attack brought me here. RIP Ian price. I wondered if banning the breed was the right thing to do but I think a ban would be ineffective. Watching your informative video, I see that you are a highly responsible doggo owner. They are very well trained, cared for and loved. They even look friendly lol. Thanks for the post. Best wishes
What people don’t know is there are 4 types of bully I think yours is the XL my friend has the standard which is smaller yet still powerful Like yours it is great as a pet but a hard dog to walk as always on the lookout for something to chase even a hedgehog one time
@@tysonfield2262 Tell that to the widow of Ian price and the other victims of attacks. NO ONE can predict even WITH greatly trained dogs if/when they may attack.
I have an XL bully pup, she's only 17 weeks, she's very friendly and wants to say hello to everyone and every dog. I find most dogs are kind but you get the odd dog or snappy little one trying to go for her. It makes me worry so much. I'm very firm with her and am careful when approaching other dogs, I always make sure she's on her lead. There are some owners who never put their dog back on the lead. Just let their dogs run up to her. I think it's quite irresponsible tbh.
Beautiful pups hats off to you. Very true others always spoil a chilled walk. Xl bullies are fast becoming one of my favourite new breeds. I met a bullie called honey yesterday beautiful temperament she looks spit of you female maybe related. Great content love you feed raw meat added vits explains the lovely coats and health .
I love that chose to leave their tails intact. I left my pits tail and ears. It was a decision made by me to ensure she was as least intimidating looking as possible. The wagging tail reminds ppl of the "puppy" side of all dogs. I LOVE what your doing educationally with your videos
I don't agree with cropping ears or docking tails just for "looks" BUT, I've had doberman that HAD to get their ears cropped because they were super sensitive & would blister up & get infected from something as simple as the dog shaking it's head.. could either let the dog be in pain most of its life, or fix it for good with a simple crop.. Common sense decision!
@@rachelr3113 It REALLY is simple though lol. they clip nothing but cartilage (if done right) and the dog isn't awake while it's done.. getting a dog spayed/neutered is WAY more dangerous and actually affects the dog.. missing a little skin on the ear doesn't! And again, I don't crop ANY dog's unless it's needed ... But, I suppose letting them suffer with constant blistered/split ears and infections would be more reasonable 🤔
Fairplay them dogs eat better than me Always nice to see people bringing there dogs up the proper way. I love pitbulls, bully's just dogs in general I have French Mastiff 💙 her to bits.. Big up LLF🤟
Working dog breeds are always the best breeds. Malinois, presa, pitbull for example, bullies are one of the best breeds as pets but very useless for working.
I own Rottweilers and adore American bully’s and am looking to get one , but you can’t possibly have their ears hacked off and call them family pets - I’m just glad that you are trying to get that as friendly as possible which is definitely what I like to see
Very nice color 👌🏽 ... shiny caramel. Not red like rednose ... amazing genetics ... also the backs are high from the shoulders ... heads like bricks and snakes ... good 👍🏽 ... deserves all the money
Dang bro can I be one of your dogs they eat better than I do🤣. Props to you I can tell you really love your dogs, I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier little girl and I treat her the same way, these dogs have a way of stealing your heart and soul no doubt! This is the correct way to keep bullys! By the way your dogs are beautiful man.
10:38 I swear dogs can’t eat garlic? That’s what I always thought anyway lol, dogs are living nice though, how much does it roughly cost to feed 1 dog monthly? I’m getting an XL bully in 3 weeks and wanna put them on a raw diet
Please be very careful who you sell any puppies from these dogs to, especially intact males/females. If any end up in the hands of wannabe gangsters who train/breed them to be aggressive, or naive owners who don't treat them properly then it's going to result in other dogs, children, cats etc. getting killed. This of course applies to any dog breed but given the size and strength of this breed, and the type of people looking for dogs like this, need to be extra careful.
@@day2xs208 Not everyone with a pitbull or bully is a douchebag... I've owned American Pitbulls my entire life & NEVER had one that was aggressive towards people.. allot of them can't tolerate strange dog's. But they've no reason to get along with strangers dog's🤷 they don't live with us lol. I have no use for a human aggressive dog.
@Day2xs Sometimes thugs or drug dealers or people involved in dog fighting go for these dogs. They don’t train the dog right, or they encourage aggressive behavior, which only fuels the negative stereotype the breed already has.
@@day2xs208 they didn't say everyone wanting one is a dick, but a lot of people who ARE dicks WILL try to get a dog like this, be irresponsible as fuck and become a fucking menace to society. All he said was be careful who you sell to to prevent that. It's like if you were some kind of weapons dealer, in the wrong hands it could be very bad, so you gotta be careful, that's all they're saying. This guy (in the video) seems extremely responsible and is doing a great job with his dogs, but not everyone will be like that
I do the same thing with my bullmastiffs constantly looking for other dogs off lead.only let my two off when no one else is around and they are straight on the lead if a see anyone else gorgeous dogs by the way matey 👍👍👍
Monstrously huge xl bully ,off lead , ran over to my tiny terrier today and said hello. Not encountered one of these huge dogs before but despite the size it was quite an endearing giant. My 7 month old 6kg buddy just took it in it's stride though. Dogs eh! Gotta love em.
This is.the.first time I have watched your video. I have subscribed. You are hard for.me to understand but your dogs are beautiful and you love them. I have an American staffordshire/pitbull but she is not as beautiful as yours. What do you feed them and how.much?
I’ve just found you, your dogs are gorgeous 😍I relate to what your saying about how Deebo is with other dogs. I have an Indian mastiff x American bully who’s exactly the same after being attacked a few times. Please film some footage on what you do to try get people to put their dogs back on leads. No one listens to me when I ask politely, when I shout at them…whatever I do 😫I’m at a loss & I don’t want my dog taking the flack for it
Can he really ask that of other people when he walks one of the dogs off lead as well? One of my dogs is very dog reactive, and people like him (or anyone with dogs off lead) makes me really uncomfortable. How hard is it to keep a damn dog on lead in public open spaces in accordance to the law? It sucks that I can't take that dog to the park like I do with all others, because there's always a ton of dogs off lead on it (and coming running for mine, who luckily are all dog friendly besides the one sitting at home alone)
@@idioteque09 he was being extremely careful just as I do, scanning the area constantly judging the situation. Large breed dogs definitely need that time off lead for their stimulation&exercise. If they don’t get it that’ll impact on their mental health & cause pent up energy & behavioural problems. I take mine to places where I know there’s not really anyone& go at times people wouldn’t be out. His dogs have incredible recall as well, I can’t fully say the same for mine, he’s 99% but he’s still that 1% impulsive atm. We’re getting there.. he’s a safe dog, it’s other peoples dogs that are the issue. This guy was careful& knows his dogs personalities & training hence why one stayed on.
@@rinawiththenina2190 I understand that. But the reason my dog turned reactive (after having tons of dogs at home as fosters for years) was exactly after being attacked 3-4 times by dogs off lead. Every owner always thinks that everything will be fine. Dog parks exist exactly so they can exercise and still be contained safely. Take them there if its to be off lead. Any other public area should be on lead, in accordance to the law.
I've been recently blessed with a 4 month xl bully and now have to walk my 12 yr old jack Russel with 4yr old chihuahua and it's the chihuahua who rules !! Annoying how many dogs off lead spoil it for others
Video idea: Talk about the situation with bullys where you live and why it is the way it is. I know how it is here in the U.S.A and its not fair to the dogs because some dont raise them well but clearly you love you pups and well I would lvoe to hear your perspective.
At my work a customer comes through drive thru with two Bullys. They are so beautiful. I got to hand feed a treat to one. their head was as big as the car Windows. I felt bad for the owner, cause i think the dog crushed his downstairs area a few times. You have so many, i want all of them to come charging at me, get me to the ground and just clobber me with love
You need to chill mate, your dog can feel your fear and that makes him want to protect you. I feel your pain my SBT was attacked by two labs when he was 2, 16 stables later and a full year of reinforcement training and he was good as gold. Your anxiety doesn't help bro. The most you can do is do what you can do, you can't control every situation. Beautiful dog pale 👍
True bro, certain man buy dogs and dk how to actually own one, need to train them to be friendly, ive heard cases of dogs getting put down, sad af, comes down to the owner just train them fully and then you dont have to worry
@@qaisdin9009 that or keep your dog on lead like mines. My dogs are good with people but not necessarily other animals except the one's they live with and hunt with.
I love watching your videos. You care so much for your dogs and that is very admirable. All of the pups are so beautiful and look very happy and healthy. God bless😀
I had a pit who was my epilepsy alert dog. Best dog I’ve ever had absolutely amazing. He passed last year from cancer. Left a giant hole in my heart. Yesterday my wife gave me an xl to be my new service dog. I couldn’t be more over the moon with her. She will be right at home on our 5.5 acre property. 3 years of training ahead of us. That’s the only bad part.
As an owner if a pittbull x staffy who is generally a good well behaved dog. He is not always friends with other dogs off the lead so i have to be on alert, the only issues i have had is other dog owners who don't have well trained dogs with no recall approaching him then it could be messy, so all in all i believe that all dogs should be on a lead at all times unless in a secure area with dogs they already know, so keep your dogs on a lead and stop making my life hell 😢
Took me a minute to understand the UK accent when he said 'my man's got a call the police mug' lmaoooo ... Cracked me tf when it hit me tho lol ... Nice to see this type of breeder and dog enthusiast as it translates to him as an owner, trainer and breeder ... But even more cool for me seeing it from a fellow guy of pakistani background ... I've got fam in the UK and know there's a real strong pk community over there which we dont have here in the US so it's rare and real nice for me to see one of the guys from our background who really knows his stuff and executes things wit a level of professionallism ... See way too much half ass execution with full on shxt talkin in our community Ive noticed when visiting over there. Subscribed and looking forward to see more, keep it up my man. If you ever need a hand or are visiting NYC or surrounding area, hit me up for a local connect to help put a play together etc .. best of luck wit future plans IA
I feel your pain nearly everyday I come across some asshole.i have a staffi and he is so docile and then we meet an owner with their dog off lead with zero recall!! So maddening! Your dogs are beautiful.
living in paris suburb with my 1yo red nose always on leash... everyday i try to keep my calm to explain others dogs owners we meets to put the leash on...they always confidents in theyr dogs recall and mental...my dog got attacked twice and wear a big scar on his back. the funny part is that WE always looks like the bad guys in the situation because of his race.
Lol I get you man im in the same situation with my pitbull she is the sweetest dog with people, and wont hurt a dog she knows but off-leash dogs she sees for the first time is a differant story she just doesn't trust them. Got attacked 4-5 times by random dogs jumping out of the bushes. Btw in my country your dog must be on leash at public places such as parks.
My dads friend owns 3 bully kind of breeds and he’s trained them really well. My dads been able to chat with the guy with the dogs sat down next to the friend, off lead, and not daring to walk off. He’s trained the dogs to listen to him when he calls them back, walk beside him perfectly, sit when he stops walking (at traffic lights or to chat with a friend.) Dogs like that make me jealous since my dog is really easily distracted and i give up most the time with him but then I try again.
Serious dog owner them meals make me realise i aint on job wid feeding like i thought i was!! I got a XL Bully x Alaskan Malamute looks quite like Deebo im guna get on all them vitamins n that thanks bro helped out there
