This is Why I Love Malaysia and NEVER Want to Leave! 🇲🇾 (Jalan Alor Kuala Lumpur) Check out my friend Solo's channel: @TravelingSoloLogs #streetfood #malaysia #malaysian
In Malay culture, Kissing hand is the gesture of respecting the elder. That little boy certainly was raised the right way.. salute and respect to the guy that gave you roti too.. very wholesome vlog.
@@Gymson In Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Somalia, and Brunei, hand-kissing is a common way to greet elder people of all genders, primarily the closest relatives (both parents, grandparents, and uncles or aunts) and teachers. Occasionally, after kissing the hand, the greeter will draw the hand to his own forehead. From wikipedia: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hand-kissing
Mashallah brother iman on RU-vid allahu akbar he is from Western Australia Perth great brother it's my good friend and brother in islam may allah grant him highest paradise
That teenager from Brunei, I love how his younger sibling shake and kiss your hand. That is a sign of respect. In Malay culture, we are taught to do that especially when we shake hands with older folks. Btw, I gotta try that dragon-mango juice to go with the Beef Roti!!!
Those chendol noodles are made from sticky rice flour and pandan extract or screwpine extract as it is called in English. I woudnt call that a salad though but rather a shaved ice dessert with multiple toppings😂
*Hallelujah!!!! The daily jesus devotional has been a huge part of my transformation, God is good 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻was owning a loan of $47,000 to the bank for my son's brain surgery (David), Now I'm no longer in debt after I invested $12,000 and got my payout of m $270,500 every months,God bless Chloe Linda Henderson🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸..*
Wow that's nice She makes you that much!! please is there a way to reach her services, I work 3 jobs and trying to pay off my debts for a while now!! Please help me.
you know Chris, that guy with white shirt was in the video earlier when you walked in near to the Chinese beef roti restaurant. You always gave blessing to the people around the world, so you deserve to get the piece of love as well brother. Bravooo
Don’t worry, we Malaysian feel good giving to others, especially food. What goes around goes around. Whenever we have a chance, we’ll give, we never know when we need help from others. It’s like buying coffee in advance for people in front of you. Maybe 1 day you forgot your wallet, but someone in front paid for you.
I loved the food in Malaysia. Would love to go back again one day. The reason the smoothy ingredients didn't mix is because of the density of the mango, the dragon fruit is much lighter, so sits on top. If you built the drink with Mango on top it would sink and you wouldn't get the two tone effect. It works with some cocktails as well, you can layer alcohol on top of each other depending on the density. Nice walking tour, thanks Guys 😊
For us, Malaysian, we just go to any of the malls, head to the food court, and you can find all kinds of food from the malays, penang, western, chinese, indian, japanese, korean, indonesian in one place. My favourite is a mixed rice meal at the malay Stalls.
The green stuff is actually the cendol itself, and the color green is from pandan leaves or screw pine leaves in English. And it's not brown sugar, it is palm sugar... hehehe~~~
@Gymson and now you know... hehehe... sometimes we also used brown sugar if we don't have palm sugar, but it rarely happens because we can get palm sugar from market to any upscale grocery store here in Malaysia...
@Gymson yeah that's for the best, never stop learning new things... you should visit East Malaysia, which is in Borneo Island. It's really a totally different vibes from what you've experienced in Peninsular Malaysia. Lemme know if you are coming ya, maybe we can meet up and chill out at the beach, drinking coconut and enjoying the sunset. Sabah have the most beautiful sunset in the world...
Woman selling chindall was smart.. Literally hypnotized customer particularly those who have handicapped of language. She just rings bell, nodded head and before customers asks any details she begins to make her product. Technically good for visitors but it would not work on locals.
The green noodly thing is the cendol of which is made of pandan . Other thing inside the bowl is optional as they were compliments/extras to the cendol
chris, when you gonna stay at Malaysia during fasting month?you can go to food bazar during Ramadhan.i hope you can consider Malaysia back after Thai trip.you can have a very good vibe during Ramadhan,i promised you 👍😊 please come back.bring brad also
The green stuff is cendol. Whenever there is the green stuff in a mix, we just call it cendol. It is like a star ingredient. The rest are just additives.. sort of.
New Zealand is so beautiful, I was in Australia for 5 years and never visited New Zealand. I dont have many regrets in my life, but yeah this one is. Hopefully I can still go one day! :)

Most of the stall operators in Jalan Alor are manned by foreigners. Thats why for example at 10:20 that guy did not understand your query why that mango and red juice drink dont mix.
We were in KL for a week after CNY and hoping to bump from anyone Fantastic Four of Malaysia vlogs (Chris, Solo, Ken, and Brad) but got no luck. Maybe nxt time:)

It's dragonfruit not pomegranate dude..and they don't mix bcoz the mango is denser than the dragonfruit mix. Just like how u pour milk and top the layer with espresso for latte for the gradient
Hey Chris. I was just wondering. Are u only going to stay in KL or are u going to explore other parts of Malaysia too? 😁. Because Malaysia is so much more than just KL.
