You can but I wouldn't make a habit of it, I believe that fishing rules and regulations booklet let you know how much is an acceptable amount per month per person I know a lot of the Lakes have high amounts of Mercury which is not good for the system little fish have less then the larger fish
Yeah I wouldn’t eat them, there were a few mines nearby and a lot of mercury leeched into the lake. Eating a fish once or twice a year shouldn’t be a problem and if you decide to a keeper is 12” and I wouldn’t eat anything much bigger than that
Great video. Have not got your jigs wet yet that I ordered..... but watching this video make me want to order more just for the future. Keep them coming.
I have to say you have the most beastly hookset I’ve ever seen. What rod do you use for the senko setup.I notice everything is a Dobyns setup I’ve been thinking about making the change from Shimano and Okuma over to Dobyns or G Loomis.
Anthony Ganczewski thanks! I’m currently using a 733 spinning rod for my senko setup. I’m not sponsored by Dobyns rods or affiliated with them at all, I like them and they are great rods, but I honestly haven’t expanded and tried too many other brands. I’m open to try other brands in search of the PERFECT rod for my jigs though.
I just figured out why you set the hook one handed, it allows you to turn your shoulders away from the fish better and drive that hook deeper. Your thoughts?
TheMannyduckslayer better hookset with a FULL swing, and it’s faster for me setting once I feel that tick or pressure bite by dropping the rod, flicking the reel and taking up the slack instead of reeling with the other hand. 🎣
Bass Union glad to hear, def wanna give them a shot. I see a little bass union following starting up in the motherlode region tourneys, so I'll see if I can bring it down to the Central/south valley. 👍🏼
When was the cast for kids?... Or when is it? Would have brought my boat up and volunteered for the kids... Always worth it to get young kids on the water!!
