Also a quick question if you don't mind! but I'm going to Vietnam soon for like 1 month, starting from North to South, and a little bit in the center, planning to do stuff like Sapa, Ha long Bay, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc, Snorkeling, etc So the question is, should I come with Mochila outdoor or Luggage? (I'm not sure if it's important to mention but I'll be putting quite a lot of food in my luggage/mochila, amount of food that last around 1 week, but it's not cause I'll be sleepin in the woods or something like that, but cause I can only eat my own specific food) Thanks!

Another excellent video! 👍 I knew you were going to absolutely fall in love with Vietnam as soon as you announced that it was your next vacation. You managed to capture the beauty and uniqueness of Hoi An - the one thing you could never capture is the HEAT!!!!! It must be experienced first hand. Now imagine those poor GIs in the jungle during the war. Indescribable! Few signs of war now, and the Vietnamese have moved on. Not so with many GIs who remain alive. I am also veteran of that war but fell in love with the beauty of the country. Great video!!!!

@@QuanNguyen-og6pq Yes, I have been back 3 times since the war - and have enjoyed each trip. The country has changed so much in the last 50 years. Incredible development! What hasn't changed is the beauty of the country, the delicious food, the magnificent beach resorts, and the friendliness and warmth of the Vietnamese people. Vietnam is a great travel destination and I recommend it highly. I am unable to travel now... or else I would be exploring Southeast Asia. My favorite part of the world - especially Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and of course, Vietnam.

Wow! Very interesting. The bicycles looked very very heavy. Although, it’s a fairly flat area. I am sure that they felt like you were pushing a lot of weight around. Shev I must say is so good at just trying everything. Food? She amazes me. The photography was about as good as it can get.

Shev & Dev, you guys are a breath of fresh air! Not only are your videos such great quality, but your approach to travel is so engaging-- you embrace the country and culture wholeheartedly, with enthusiasm, respect, humility and love. There is no trace of entitlement or gross overindulgence, which is rare nowadays. I'm Vietnamese American, and after watching your videos, I'm even MORE excited (if that's even possible) to visit Vietnam this upcoming summer, after having to postpone our trip twice since 2020! Not to mention you both are pretty easy on the eyes :) (Shev, you are gorgeous and if you made health & fitness videos, I'd be watching them right now!) Do you have any tips, or "hacks" as my kids would call them, on now to make such a long haul flight more comfortable? For instance, recommendations for things to bring on the plane with you?

Yep. Its a lovely place. A lot of peeps late afternoon that will be new to me though. But good for those that welcome the revenue. Try things here, you will be surprised. People are super nice.... Bike ride tour on other side across bridge, boat tour to some islands or something else. Not sure if you guys are going to Hue but the food is also amazing there. I remember eating at these two places and was "wow" that was amazing. Something i didnt see in other places was these guys who sketch on a silk canvas. Small ones but so good...bought one to take home but should have bought more.

I've heard that it is easier to enter Vietnam than to go to my birth country, Philippines. Shev and Dev, to enter Vietnam, did they require you to have a vaccine passport and/or covid-testing? If they don't have those requirements, I will surely visit Vietnam. Unfortunately, I cannot go to the PH, even if I wanted to, because of their covid mandates. I am now your avid follower because of your travel vlogs They are fun as well as informative.

Hi guys, very very big mistake at 08:25, that's not "Cao Lầu" dish, it's just "Bún thịt nướng/Grilled pork and rice vermicelli". Personally, as a Vietnamese, i feel offended quite hard on that. And i hope you guys wont make the same mistake twice.

Hi Ian! Thank you so much for your lovely comment - this is so refreshing to hear and it really made our day! Ohhhh this is a difficult one! Since we lived In Thailand for over 2 years, it felt like home, However if we had the same amount of time in Philippines or Vietnam we might need to live in Both for the exquisite beaches of Philippines and abundance of street food from Vietnam 😍❤

Sorry to tell you this but you guys were having it wrong, that's not Cao Lau. Cao Lau is a different dish which can be distinguished by the noodle, Cao Lau noodle is brown and they also have fried pork skin.

The dish that you guys ate is not Cao Lau. It’s Bun Thit Nuong. I believe you guys miss out because the sign board named many different food beside Cao Lau.
