I love seeing Wayne dance around and have fun with it. There for awhile back a few years ago I was getting worried about him. But he got through it and has been dropping heat!!! No rapper wants Wayne to start his grind back up because they would all become irrelevant quick because he is the OG when it comes to the new rap today. Everyone coming up for the most part just copies Wayne and adds their own thing to it. But the base is influenced by Wayne. I remember when the Carter 1 came out. I had a jeep with 4 12’s in high school and we would roll into the parking lot every day bumping it.

I just meant even tho some of his music wasn't always for me, its always been clear how talented and creative he was with it even on the songs i didn't like. Take Lollypop for example, not my kinda song at all but even on that he had "better wear a latex cause you dont want that late text like 'i think im late x' " so even when you don't like the song you just cant argue with his wordplay.

Think about this right. Lil Wayne at his worst being on Lean and whatnot still managed to get songs at number 1 and features with a lot of well known artists, him not remembering what he wrote or rapped about still signifies that at his worst he still kept up with the competition. Very true..that dude was high for like 20 years straight lol..and to a degree still is high AF but I think he chilled on the lean and I'm hoping it's true but that's another topic. In his worst addiction he was outdoing rappers across the board, and his writing style is insane. He's a guy that goes to the studio, puts on a beat and pretty much plays around with freestyles to make a song. He didn't start taking pen to paper until recent years. He's a machine
