They got nerfed instead of telling ppl how to shake them off like this guy didnt, it was very easy to run there stam out and kill them before. Now they dont do any damage or atleast the Velo dont. Tap X, A or space faster than you ever have before and your raptor problem is over instantly.

Raptors arent useless and never were, people complain about them having too much hp for their size and then say theyre useless without pounce??? Pounce WAS op before because they would stay on for long enough to stack bleed and it took forever to buck them off, then they could just jump off which usually teleports them to the other side of your body and then just repeat and bleed you out. Raptors arent “useless”, ive killed things WITHOUT pounce, no not big things but bigger things, a conca specifically, and a full grown rex or trike shouldnt have to buck for 10-15 straight seconds and lose a quarter of their hp to one raptor using default bite. Sorry I dont usually talk this negatively lol but I just cant stand people being so two sided, some people argued raptors were op even before pounce because nothing one shot them, now people say its weak even WITH pounce lol, and almost everyone agrees, despite the whole one shot argument, that raptors are “useless” without pounce, even though they can tailride and kill a LOT of creatures quite easily, JUST like megalania if not better.

Honestly they got nerfed because people don’t ever read the patch notes to know how to counter anything. The devs just need to stick to the plan and stop pandering to fuckn whiners who don’t know how to strategize against a dinosaur. Every Dino is counterbalancing to fight another so when someone loses it’s their mistake.
