Trousers ain't no sin because the way a woman's trousers are cut and sewn are different. Besides, in climes where trousers are worn by women, it is because of the weather. Please STOP preaching extra scriptural messages leading people astray. In Africa, Nigeria, women tie wrappers and in other parts it's the men who wears trousers, so which of them are sinners? The same applies to trousers. Jewelry is worn by Brides in scriptures worshipping them as opposed to God is what the trouble is.

A dress 👗 is used to signify male and a pant is used to signify male 👖.. There are no excuses.. If you have to wear pants because of cold weather you dont trust GOD.. Is it only today there is cold climate ? How did women back in cold climates survived without pants or electricity.. Cannot GOD protect HIS people ? I personally do not use make up or jewelry. So, I am not being defensive. However, I think that this matter is overflogged! Removal of jewelry or make up, etc is not what takes anyone to heaven. What enables us to see GOD is a pure heart founded upon the blood of JESUS CHRIST and the work of HIS salvation on the cross of calvary. The emphasis should not be jewelry and make up, etc. It should be about JESUS having the first place in our lives and guiding us on daily basis, about what we wear or do not wear. Christians have taken it the other way round- unfortunately so.

In my opinion, our outward looks should reflect Jesus. Otherwise we just look like the world. It’s not a sin to wear makeup but it’s a sin when it is becoming something obsessive. I think the same with jewelry too. I personally just like dresses, shorts, shirts, and leggings(with shirts long enough to cover my bottom). I don’t do it to fit in though. I do it because these are clothes I have access to, and all my clothes are modest and cover my body. My swimsuit isn’t a two piece. If I would feel comfortable wearing it in front of Jesus then I would wear it in public too.

What makes me upset is that there are still some of us judging based on appearance and think that alone means we’re living for Christ or not, when that’s not how it goes. Just because you may not wear a certain attire doesn’t make you more holy than those who do. Quoting scripture is one thing but we need to LIVE by it and be the light and salt as God says and stop being salty. Yes He said to not love things of the world. He didn’t say you couldn’t dress nice. If you place values on materials above God then,yea, it’ll be a problem because He’s not your priority. But it doesn’t mean having nice things alone or dressing well will send you to hell. The only one who can decide who gets into the Kingdom of Heaven is Jesus Himself. No one else. Stay blessed.

I guess is about modesty, don't exhagerate, it's ok to use certain things but if you're doing it to get atention or looks, especially when you motivate others to make adultery, that means, look at you with desire. Yet if you're not doing that it's fine. That given that in that context in that time woman used to wear gold and jewerelly just to look rich and sexual and fancy dresses, to call atention, this is what we should focus in avoiding.

Unless someone is dressing in a way to draw attention to themselves from another man or woman lustfully, it’s not a crime.
People of God, we must pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead us in the word of truth and rightly divide the word of truth. Adding to the word of God will keep you out of heaven. The Holy Spirit of God is what makes us Holy. It's not a dress code that will save our souls. However, we as women should dress modestly. We don't have anything for sale so we should not dress provocatively.

I would just want to confess to every sin I committed. Say that God is right about anything he has to say about me. I’m impure, I’m not worthy of being with him. Even now, I remain lukewarm because of my addiction. If I’m to be cast away and thrown to the fires, so be it. I brought that onto myself. We reserve the due rewards of our deeds.
Who thinks he is save because he is good person and has good works..didn t read the Word of God. No One can go to heaven..if he is not perfect. ONLY way to be perfect is believing and trusting in Jesus to be save...the perfect blood shed on the cross forgive our sins past presente and future and clean our souls..pay our ransom.. impossíble to lose salvation..

We have his covering as long as we are in Christ. If we are abiding in Him. We will not receive our inheritance if we do not truly love God and love our neighbor. Jesus tells us if we love Him, keep His Commandments. That is how we abide in Him.
Amen and amen for this brother. I don't know how many times i have to subscribe this. This is what i teaches in my prayer group and am happy that am not alone.
Even though I do wear pants and sometimes dresses, I do dress modestly and make sure my chest and if I'm wearing a dress my knees are covered. If it's above the knee then it's too short and if it shows my shoulders and chest then I wear a cardigan to cover it up. Once in awhile I wear a daisy necklace and earrings but that's not all the time and I rarely wear makeup except I put lipstick that looks a little darker than my natural lip color. Most of the time I go without makeup. I even wear a bathing suit that is up to my calves and I wear a bathing suit top that looks like a shirt that covers my chest and short sleeve. It's good to be modest!
When the prodigal son went back to the father after repenting, his father received him by putting ring in his arm. And Jesus told this parable. If jewellery is not allowed, Jesus wouldn't have told this story to the listeners right!?

Now talking about extra accessories like hair extension and make up, the Holy Spirit convinced me that I shouldn't use it. I also don't use jeans, sleeveless clothes, short clothes and fashion accessories. I'm not convinced the way you teach not to wear ornaments and chasing after other laxuries such as expensive clothes, big houses and laxurious life. It's irony and hypocrisy. If you prefer not to use any jewellery, you should live a model life which is simple and humble. But you reject somethings and chase laxury, which is useless. This shouldn't stress all the outward things. Men did not wear trousers in the Old Testament when this was said. Zachius the tax collector was in lavish clothes and beyond rich but Jesus accepted him and never once scolded him for dressing like the world, He just loved him and Zacheus changed inwardly because of God's love not judgement of his outward appearance
All this is in scriptures and I was doing all the make up and artificial hair and nails until the Holyspirit asked me to stop in a dream. I did away with make up, nails, trousers, fornication fake hair. My life has never been this good. I really don't know what to believe when it comes to beauty and modesty. I thought that God wanted us to be happy and to have freedom. Even though I love being natural, there are times when I have to put on a make-up, wigs and other accessories. For example, when I go for a job interview. I don't think employers would hire someone who is dressed like that. I really need clarity.
Beauty does not come from merely an outward showiness. There is a radiant beauty that shows when someone has the right heart and Spirit. Personally i stopped wearing makeup and other things years ago and have not gone back to that. Ive been doing fine without it. I think we need to make sure we have the right heart and are not concerned with drawing attention from others to ourselves.

Y'know I'm normally big on horror but the Holy Spirit has been giving me far too many signs. I think I'm meant to move away from this, to be pure and holy, just like God is pure and holy.

The bible said everyone will be judged according to their works, and their righteous and wickedness, and if anyone name not found written the book of Life, they were cast into the lake of fires. This video makes it sound like we have to be super perfect to be accepted into heaven. Otherwise, they'll get cast into the lake of fires. If that is the true gospel, then no one can be accepted into heaven. Or should I say only 1% can be accepted into heaven lol. I'm okay with all you are saying but what if a christian wears necklaces and the commandments of God? What if the clothes we wear too are produced from the kingdom of darkness?
