deep dive into some of the reasons why the Ethiopian bible was banned despite been the first ever bible. #biblestories #bible #mystery ##biblestory #enoch #bookofenoch
Christianity came to Ethiopia in the first century via the Ethiopian Eunuch baptized by Philip in the book of acts. There were already Ethiopian Jews at the time from the time of Solomon. They had scriptures there, and this Ethiopian eunuch brought Christianity to Ethiopia in the first century.
THANK YOU for introducing people to your Ethiopian scriptures. Some of these books are catalogued or mentioned in Wikipedia under the various heresy names related to Christianity. It is fascinating research as one can see the natural progression of beliefs as those communities who held those scriptures had to escape to other lands to practice their religion or evade persecution. Even Islam, with its strange version of Old Testament characters, grew from these heretical offshoots. That said, it is important to have a singular common canon; yet the absence of these other scriptures does not mean they are wrong, only that there were not chosen. As for King James, the Protestants left out the Apocrypha and some of the other books that the Catholics kept in. It is my understanding that those books had less to do with the teachings of Jesus and more to do with Jewish history. For example, the Maccabees are known as the war verses. At this stage in my spiritual journey, I enjoy reading them all and am aided by the context. Ultimately one will find that the quest is within.
If you have doubt on the origionality of the book of Enouch, why do the weastern scintists make a high interest on investigating it day and night? We Ethiopians listen to our spiritual fathers and keep the truth till the end of the world. The main reason why the wrst rejected Ethiopian bible is simply politics.
Why only in Ethiopia? Isn't it a holy book? Why not in at least other Christian African nations? What about Europe? For a bible that was compiled even before the famous KJV, it should be at least an accepted bible (worldwide). Even in churches across the world, we don't get to see pastors read from the Ethiopian Bible
There's no authority on earth that can decide anything about the Word. Accept the full truth of God or throw the whole book in the trash. People are still trying to make a fool of God. You can't censor God's Word by removing books. The Ethiopian bible is only rejected by gentiles for the most obvious reason. Man cannot put asunder anything that God has brought forth. Including the Ethiopian Scriptures. The undertones in this video appears to be heretic justifying redacting or removing any part of the Holy Scriptures. Man must think he's smarter than God!
A lot of evil has been done to humanity especially to those who have the hunger for the truth. I have tried downloading the English version of the Ethiopian Bible without success. , Can I be guided on how to download the English version
you are writing and telling the world good. We ethiopians have the mosses ark of conveinant here in our hand given by God when mosses were in mount sina, egypt. But the western world deny .
lol according to the law any non-levantine person that even touches the ark of the covenant will immediately die. so then HOW on earth did an ethiopian bring it to the country now and how do ethiopians still have it? and the old testament is called old for a reason. I'm ethiopian myself btw.

@@melvincarter9640 I've heard other interpretations through out my life I'm seventy years old and that's what I was taught in school and church over the years.
@@haroldlamble5163 ok I understand and trust me I'm glad you are a Christian so am I , yet we know Jesus did asked the disciples who did they think He was? Peter said YOU ARE THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. Then Jesus approved of that and Told Peter that the Father revealed that to Him and Jesus Simon Barjona , Thou are Peter and upon this Rock I will build MY CHURCH,AND THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT. Now suppose Jesus was saying that Upon the Statement that Peter said that JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD WAS THE ROCK WHICH JESUS WOULD BUILD HIS CHURCH UPON AND THE GATES OF HELL WOULD NOT STAND AGAINST PETER STATEMENT. THAT HE WAS THE CHRIST AND SON OF GOD.
Not only is the Ethiopian Bible not "banned" (it is readily available in multiple editions, including Kindle), many of the books mentioned are included in the Apocrypha. This video is full of misinformation and flat out lies
Banned in churches. Have you walked into a church for service and the minister in charge taught from any of the scripture I mentioned? Why? Which Christian institute uses the Ethiopian bible? Why None? So it is obviously banned. That they can be found in some quarters does not mean they are accepted as "holy scriptures" meanwhile, they were wrtten as "holy scriptures" I accept and love criticism but atleast, make your criticism Strong and with points.
@@Biblewayministries933 You're trying to move the goalposts. First you say "banned" and now you say "banned in churches." Either way, you are flat wrong. The Catholic Bible includes the books of Tobit, Judith, 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom of Solomon, Sirach or Ecclesiasticus, and Baruch. The Eastern Orthodox Church adds 3rd Maccabees, 1st Esdras, Prayer of Manasseh and Psalm 151. Protestant Bibles traditionally included all of the aforementioned apocryphal books plus Bel and the Dragon, Susanna, additions to Esther. That makes an 80-book Bible. It was not until the 19th century when the British and Foreign Bible Society decided to stop printing it -- partly for financial reasons -- that the Apocrypha was "removed" from Protestant Bibles. The Lutheran and Anglican/ Episcopal Churches (among others) consider the Apocrypha useful but not authoritative for doctrine. The Revised Common Lectionary is in use by dozens of denominations worldwide and includes readings from the Apocrypha. Parts of the Catholic Requiem Mass and the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer come straight from it as well.
Your hypothesis of the books found in the Ethiopian Bible is not based on facts. Please check your facts and evidence to understand what really happened and why the Bible that compromises of 81 books banned. Please tell only the facts and truths! Thank you 🙏
