Yeah was cool but I would have liked to have seen the fight with mistakes not just the nasty killing blow and just skip to the next video of him making a comeback.
Because Face tank I better for apex fights and gives you a strong defense when being attacked, but bonebreak allows you to cc your target and confirm the kill on whatever dino your fighting, big or small, fast or slow
I actually have given that some thought. I have just held off because I have a huge collection of trophys in my home cave and the devs said they was going to add it to where you could transfer your Dino's form one map the other, so I didn't want to restart and the when they do allow the switch between map I end up left with the new rex I made and not my og one
@@ambush501st that's fair, I've basically remade my rex identical to my panjura one on gondwa. Though it's rare I play gondwa. Panjura is getting very toxic thought. And I'm not 100% sure but I think facetank is broken. I hardly ever lose a 1v1 in a rex fight but since the last update its like I'm taking more damage to the head instead of less. Need to test it with some friends
Yeah there's toxicity on gondwa too. But it's better to try and be a better person in and among the bad. I myself don't use face tank on my build but I'll try and see if its not working as well

Rex is my main as well, I’ve gotten very good at it but I suck with bonebreak. I usually go facetank and I’m starting to use tail attack more often. Yesterday I killed a full defense bars with my Rex, super proud of it, and nice going in your pvp dude! Together, we Rexes can humble the Eos. Ngl, as an apex, once you figure out how to kill Eos, the rest are easy.
The whole commentary about the EO camping a corner was pretty silly, especially after you show you doing the exact same thing to a pyc LOL Doesn't take away from the entertainment of the vid, good fights, but that commentary was pft
I think the thing about the eo was that he was camping HC and tried jumping me, but I have blocked someone from HC before too so ya know. But it was just that instead of facing me apex to apex he chose to try and ambush me no pun intended 😂. I don't blame him tho lol
hey man, first of all.. you are a very respectful player. This alone, gives you a medal! :D But in your fighting you could use a little bit more your movement to your adventage. For example the fight at about 10:50 you can try to precise move left or right with your head so he cant hit you while he bites you. Of course if you guys bite at the same time this makes no sense, but in especially fights like this, this will give you a HUGE adventage!

You keep cutting the clips before the people you kill send in their discord groups of 50+ mixpackers to gank you lol This is not the authentic path of titans experience lol Seriously, last time I played Rex, all I did was walk to home cave after questing, and I had 6 EOs log in on the bridge 2 chillos a Hatz 3 pycnos and another Rex lol All the EOs just took turns charging while I was bone broke. That's the true experience Getting a 1v1 like that is so rare he probably recorded for years.. I kill Rex's on my struthi actually 😂
I actually do get mixpaced a lot but almost all my clips I show on RU-vid are ones where I got away from mixpack or I kill the guy In the 1v1 soon quick and did not take an obvious route to a hc , so in short I usually don't show clips of a kill that I didn't turn in the trophy for!
I’ve watched every single video at least 1-2 times and somehow forgot to subscribe, I absolutely love the Rex videos. I didn’t even know solo Rex was playable. Also I’ve noticed you are always around BTC, stego and ripple. Why’s that? Is it just a popular spot or do you like the look of the place. Also how did you manage to grind to a 10k skin as a solo!! You inspired me enough to make my own Rex today, i started growing it at 4:00PM and now it’s 11:00PM. It took 7 hours just to get to sub from Juvie. I know I ain’t regretting it though, I’m having so much fun on it. (Keep up the good work! Keep safe bro you’re doing amazing.)

As for the areas that I hunt in, it started out by being the place that me and my friends quested in, but now that I mostly play solo, I have found that it's not too hot of a spot where you get jumped all the time by mix packers, but it's popular enough that there is still 1v1s and hunt potential. As far as the 10k solo, that was harder to do because it made me either get better at playing Rex or just give up! This game is a survival game! In order to survive you never give up! If you die on Rex it was because you was in an extremely unfair fight or you made mistakes that got you killed! Always look to learn from every fight! I appreciate you and the kind w😁

I have a friend in a community server who plays rex almost identical to you, he mightve watched your videos! Or if he didn't, im sure i will recomend them to him!! :] When i fight hes rex as my stego, it always ends close, even if i or him wins, super fun.
I kinda went a more defense approach by having face tank and the basic bite, sure it doesn’t have bb but it does consecutive high dmg. Also you aren’t using stomp? Maybe I should take mine out

I’m just a sub Rex and from the few fights I have encountered and walked away from, it’s usually the basic bite and face tank that helped me a ton, also being a solo player that dmg buff really works wonders! 😊 great video! I need more Rex player content to get ideas on what to use and swap out!
Umm the best I got for you as of right now is to when they pounce you if it's on your front shoulder you can walk in a circle with your head facing the achillo and bite or bone break it also make sure you are bucking them off at all times and when they fall off attack or stomp them. You can also use the terrain to your advantage for example stand in water or swim when they pounce then buck them off in the water you will have advantage
Idk why, but every time I heard you say "That's crazy" it made me laugh. That eo that cornered you at the HC was clownin. That 1v1 with the bars was solid! Great content, man.
If there is more than 3 achilos and your a solo you probably won't win but if the is two or three you have to try timing a stomp after you shake them off or on the way in, also if they pounce on your front shoulder you can walk in a circle with your head in the direction of the achillo that is on you and bone break him and shake him off and stomp

Thank you very much ☺️. The rex can be tough that's for sure! The easiest way to play rex is Facetank and balance tail! But my build is a bit more harder to play cuz it's all about timing and lives and dies around proper timing of the deep Rumford apex fights, and proper timing of the BB for mid to low tiers.

Facetank is very good and necessary for solo. Facetank with deep rumble will win every time 1v1. If they try to face tank you like a rex or EO would, then make sure to back pedal precise move or else their head will reach to your torso and not count the facetank ability.
Face tank is best for fighting apexs, but it's hard to kill mid to low tiers, if your good enough you can still out play apexs with bone break and still have the potential to hunt and kill everything. With Facetank you can kill Apexs easier but the only kills you will get on mid and low tiers is when they decide to stay and fight you and you catch them on the way in. So in short face tank limits you capabilities as a rex, but is easier.
@@ambush501st100% correct, facetank is great for apex 1v1s but unless mid tiers are cocky you won’t catch them, crushing bite is a good all-rounder if you know what you’re doing with it.

@@ambush501st I'm also good at og rex so if you ever wanted to do 1v1s I could give you some pointers, since you play official it's a little different then community, but most people don't know how to Bob n weave if you can learn to do it you'll be able to get headshots on people without you being hit
I play on official servers. It was tough to learn to fight mixpacks or avoid the even bigger unwinnable mixpacks. Sometimes you just get caught out and die, it happens, but it's important to read your opponents body language to see if they are stalling for their mixpack or following you so they can mixpack. If you are trying to avoid mixpacks try to always stay on the move with an gameplan to get out.
Also I met DelRey in there, and he was mela Meg, he put my trophy into bloodstones collection, he’s a good player, gg to him. And I met him again as albino sucho, we 1v1 in grand plains, and I win but gg to him, that was a good fight for him and me.
You are not as good as majority of people are just bad at what they play. But this can be said about most of us. For example I am *atrocious* at playing a Sarco, mostly because i just do not play it much to begin with ...
Ok jeez I didn’t know those defensive buffs like 20% buffed you that much, Ive never really been able to notice how much something like 15% or 30% increases something but after a lot of hits you notice how much it helps, that buff call let you facetank a creature with the same stats (rex) and have like a whole third of your hp left, its a MUST HAVE for me to pop these buffs before fights or whenever I have the time to pop it from now on lol, as I usually just don’t use it fighting other rexes as it leaves me open to free hits.

I like to play sub Rex more since it has the speed and the speed and has the power of a adult Rex maybe a little weaker but I like the speed more I play it with my brother too
Nice! That is an interesting take for sure on the how to play rex, cuz as a sub your stats would be overall lower, but I never thought about if it would give you more speed! Very cool take!
Face tank and balanced tail is a strong defense build but you will only kill other apexs or Dino's that wish to fight to the death, whereas with Bone break you can hunt and kill anything and keeps the smaller faster Dino's in place for the kill but it takes more skill to use properly.
I do have my rex build video on my channel it's the most recent one I uploaded out of the two. But there is a lot more on how to fight with a rex 😂. I may do a video on more advanced tips on how to fight with a rex if enough people want it 😂. Thanks for checking out the video ☺️
I try and time the stomp or bite them in the way in, if they do get on you then I just shake them off and try and time a stomp when they fall / jump off. Its the best you can do. Also if they pounce on your front shoulder then you can walk In a circle putting your head in the direction they are on you shoulder and bone break them off you this will garientee then to be cc'd which you can then secure the kill
