In australia you can earn about $21-22hr but its still trash. I can't believe you guys over in US working for a few dollars a trip noone in australia would stand for that. i have been getting some pretty bad orders now tho. Like $8 for 8km and $7 for 8km its rediculous. Uber are definatly taking advantage of people. It was so bad over in australia that our government wanted to change the law to pay uber drivers minimum wage but nothing happened in the end.
I know a lot don’t want regulations because we have been fed propaganda and lies that they would hurt us and take away our independence when the truth is regulations protect us. As long as we let them rip us off there will always be a new batch ..pardon the pun..of new people that will come along to be taken advantage of. Rinse and repeat
@@kevinmangold9857yup I feel only 20%percent of drivers are actually making good money another 30 are making ok but it’s not worth it .The other 50 just delivering cause they think they are making easy money
you know whats worse= you recognize it and still accept it. Its some psychogy of being in an abusive relationship. I have a copilot German shepherd and use her as a coping mechanism to deal with the abuse of UBER.
Good luck doing that because you’re gonna be banned from Uber Eats from keep doing that. I would love to except any delivery because I don’t have nothing to worry about me and all the other bikers who ride their bikes and walk. We would love to have these deliveries. I won’t even mind for two dollar delivery. It stinks but if I wait 8 to 10 hours for a delivery, I’m just sick and tired of the drivers. I’ll keep everything you are a Uber driver. You should not be allowed to pick up deliveries for Uber eats because it’s stealing money you should stick to driving any driver who wants to do. Uber eats shit only had deliveries on only because people like me in my area unable to get deliveries if I’m lucky enough, I get six deliveries in one day and that’s after midnightthis shit is pissing me off. I don’t care about the pay. I just want to complete deliveries drivers need to stay away from this app.
@@RedKnight. I had trouble reading your comment. It is poorly written and full of run on sentences. However, I did my best to translate. First of all, I've been driving for UberEats for almost three years. There is no mention of being banned in any of their policies for rejecting orders. It would be another thing to cancel orders after accepting them. Second, I will NOT support customers who feel our services don't deserve a tip. We literally risking our lives driving through heavy traffic. Last year, another driver friend was seriously injured in an accident. There is risk for each delivery. You should have more self respect. Your value is more than receiving chump change. Basically, you are saying that you a "low value bitch".
As long as we have Venezuelans who are making $3/month in Venezuela, they will take $3 for a 30min order ANY DAY! I dropped a video showing Venezuelan pay in their country, and it can range from $1/month to around $400/month. Yes, ONE DOLLAR per month is what some of these people are making in Venezuela. These LOW FARES are like GOLD to them, and the apps know it.
This is a good point. I'm in the DC market and out of nowhere the Venezuelans on scooters flooded the area delivering just around the same time the the constant 2 and 3 dollar offers became more prevalent. Not blaming them, but I can clearly see how it lines up. Makes sense to me bro.
All delivery food company are robbing all drivers now. Crappy pay .. don’t waste your time doing this… not even minimum wage salary. All drivers are under pay..
Im saying that the whole deal doesnt work. if it worked the restaraunts would hire drivers and buy vehicles. Instead drivers are paying restaraunts and uber.
I dont understand what happened though…seriously 4 or 5 months ago sure I would get the usual bs orders but at least every 4th or 5th would be a banger….that was daily…now I get maybe 1 or 2 a week…I multi app so still hit my goals but UEats doesn’t make sense, did they put a disclaimer begging customers not to tip their drivers? 😂
Open your eyes. This is all about corporate greed, and we suffer, so shareholders/ceo's can make more on the backs of our work. We do all the work so they can make all the money.
@@berrylandenI get the idea of that, but that’s 10 minutes+ u just wasted and didn’t get paid. So in the end u lost. Just decline from the get go. Your acceptance rate means nothing lol. And I’ve yet to see anyone prove it does

Uber eats is hit or miss for me, I either get really good tipping short distance trips or just miserable offers. My biggest issue is the allowing of tip baiting. Tip baiting should be illegal because it is a violation of the agreement I made to do my part. Uber customer service is just as bad as Door Dash
Uber Eats will punish drivers who refused accepting orders, in half hour to one hour no orders will be assigned to drivers, even drivers are waiting in front of the restaurant .
The majority of drivers take these orders and will wait for how ever long it takes to get the order I believe these insulting orders will always exist but damn it I'm not going to!!!
I feel like those ppl don’t even bother to look up on RU-vid how to drive profitably. I’ve seen frustrated ppl waiting on orders and complaining about how they’re only paying $2!!!!! I was thinking “why did they even take it”?
This app are not paying us , we just got the tips from the customers, if there is no tips they pay 2$ for the order, which is not fair for someone to use his time and car and gas for free .😅😢
@@masterhack8656 you obviously are either young or not experienced because not everyone has the same opportunity like you think. It's not equal like you're sold. Maybe just think about that comment. @@masterhack8656I agree that if you don’t like the pay then don’t do it but you also have to think of the people who expect everything to be given to them for free. Why and how does anyone expect someone else to go get their food for next to nothing. They should get off their butts.
I refuse to except any orders below 9 bucks, if I accept and expect it's a tip bate, canceled , if some moron customer changes there address after pick up, beyond a 2 mile variance , canceled! "Thanks for dinner!". The trip radar is now just a scam for disgusting Uber to offer you the same low ball crap orders. Some times I intentionally accept a low tip order at the end of my night, then turn off the app and remove the gps permissions to cause their rip off order to be hung up in the system, I usually wait at least 2 hours , sign back, turn gps and cancel it.. I have zero respect for non tipping slob customers..
i only accept orders over 1.50 per mile- still doesnt cover costs. every trip is a dead end because the app is stupid. or else it just draws you further and further and further in some dead end direction then you pay the 70 mile trip home from delivering taco shells and milk
I got an order 25 miles from la michoana. Theres one 2 miles from the customer? I called and informed them and cancelled it. He gave a good rating I guess and now everyday I get offers to drive ice cream 25 miles for 7 dollars. The restaraunt is in that town, they dont need to order it from 25 miles away. the app sends it from here and now im the preferred driver???

@@ObeseCaligula door dash stock has went to shit since April. They have Earnings next week so I'm curious. I did see they hired an old Amazon officer and now are trying to get us to deliver packages
Hey Pedro ! I'm myself done with these gig apps , i m going back to my normal jobs and i m already starting . You can never depend on these miserable apps that treat their drivers like animals
Im an ex ups driver, years ago the idea of amazon free shipping was impossible and the only delivery was pizza. Delivering food one order at a time doesnt make any sense and the whole thing is unprofitable. I used to pick up a package and it would be delivered anywhere in the world in 12 hours- that was profitable. not deliveing candy 12 miles
Instead of making a video, interview drivers in your area. I used to talk to other drivers, hoping I could convince them to only accept $2/mile. I learned a lot drivers are really stupid. I had 1 guy say, “if you accept $2/mile, I’m gonna accept $1/mile.” 🤦♂️ I blame the stupid drivers more than customer or company. If the order sits long enough, Uber eats raises base. Max base is $35 tmk. It’s sad that drivers accept crap cause we have the complete power to set rates for our area as a team. But most drivers aren’t team players, if they were they’d have a 1040 job.
If every driver would quit accepting any low paying orders UE would be forced to pay more but unfortunately there's no way in hell to make that happen because there's always gonna be some dumb@ss that will accept them. I got $26+ recently for a 6 donut order from Krispy Kreme because I was the 7th or 8th driver who attempted to pick it up and found out they didn't have 4 of the cinnamon rolls they wanted so everyone kept cancelling it and the system just kept raising the base pay because no one called it in. I tryd to contact the customer but no response so I had them substitute it for cinnamon dusted donuts and then I delivered them and got the $26+ fee.
I always turn the app now and never get any orders and if I do its something stupid like $4 going 10 miles. Its dead. All the food apps tbh are dead. The last frontier is grocery delivery and it is dying with all the saturation, multiphone users, bot users, its crazy.
The major difference is, this is someone putting miles and wear and tear on their car PLUS gas, so it’s majorly different than those who no tip at a restaurant
Yes I get the opportunity notifications and it’s always a list of Walmart or Walgreens drops 7 for $3 , 5 for $5 wtf are they doing? Does anyone actually take these?
Yes these are being taken. Pedro kind of glossed over the people I believe that are actually taking these orders. They have rings and they have two to three phones in their hands doing all kinds of illegal stuff. So yes that's why we are seeing these orders being thrown out because they ARE getting delivered.
The $2 came up today on my match on Uber eats and I sat there and looked to see how long it would take for somebody to take. It took it right away. People are desperate, desperate. It's unbelievable
@@macdaddyp8437 that's what I've saying. they just accept everything but they don't see the cost of gas, maintenance, tires, and the miles they putting on their vehicle.
How would the customer know drivers are getting shit pay? Service fees delivery fees etc charged on food delivery. It’s the gig apps sitting back pocketing the big bucks laughing at the fools that will work for peanuts. The less they pay drivers the bigger their pockets get smdh corporate greed
Had it on all day while going about my day and I took three orders out of all that came through. The money on offer is ridiculous. It will cost you money to deliver the stuff.
Tip baiting sucks too. Say 3 then take back 2 after delivery. Lunch crowd lack of appreciation I guess. Americans are taking these jobs because the old days are gone.
Yep that's true. This was started as a pretty much luxury type of service, but now it has become a Right. Hey why would you tip $10 when you tip $2 and you get your food right at your front door. I give these apps two to three more years at the most
There is a reason. Uber is very confident Waymo/UE partnership is in affect. They are setting shop in Austin now and plan on doing downtown. They do this and we drivers have less leverage. Soon it'll be 2 dollars or nothing. People want cheaper deliveries and Waymo/UE gets to keep all the money and customer don't have to pay tip to the driver (I expect restaurants to try to get customers to pay tips to them). Either way, the writing is on the wall. 3 years tops...I think by mid 2025 we will really feel it
@DmitriOcean yes, right, I am doing part time job because I have have kids, so I wanted to help myself with some extra income, I downloaded these apps but it is so disappointing 😞
Uber gives the customer the option to tip an hour after drop off. Reducing the tip is a reg occurrence now. I complained to Uber about it being a scam. I received an email from Uber having me agree again to their to their pay and guidelines. Play the manipulation game or don't.
I really want to meet these people that make $20 in 4 hours and pay $40 in gas taking Uber Eats orders…they must have some amazing insights on money management…please fill me in I’m all ears, thank you 🙏
A) they did not strike. They had a lunch break together. B) You should make a trail of bags to the trash with a note at the end that says, "open lid, jump in!." C) I believe alot of people misunderstand the delivery fee. The company definitely will not put "this fee will not go to the driver." Transperancy is key and this door will remained locked forever.
I don't think anyone accepted those orders. Those orders probably only got delivered via piggybacking a high paying order picking up at the same place.
I see those Walmart delivery opportunities for like 30 or 40 miles for 90 minutes for $5 or $6 I just laugh and ignore them. I do wonder if anyone ever excepts them tho🤔
These type of orders are only an issue if you're punished for not taking them (looking at you DD). Other than that, they make for a good chuckle and story to tell.
Uber Eats DoorDash Walmart. All these delivery apps suck. Can't make any money on him. They've gotten 20 times worse. They're depending on the customers to tip us for us to make money which is wrong
Uber Eats is trash now. They no longer pay an incentive for driving to a restaurant and finding out the order has already been picked up by another driver or if the restaurant is closed. You just waste your time and gas. And if I pick up a $3 order for $100 worth a groceries, they not getting all they sh!t.
grocery orders take too long, its impossible to make min wage. I had to wait 15 minutes at the deli yesterday for some ham. My time was worth more than the ham itself if I were paid min wage
@bballah9969 depends on your market. I work in a capital with a lot of businesses so tips between $30 to $50 are common bc they order so much food. Plus I multiapp so I have options. In backwater markets, no you can't make it, but I paid off a pretty nice house doing this job so yes it can be done.
Immigrant labor in some areas is really hurting us. But we're not allowed to complain that thousands have been brought here, housed here, have been given vehicles and cash allowances along with cooperation and finding them employment. But almost all of them do Uber Eats now too. This used to be a gig you could almost make a full-time living off of if you committed to it but at the very least it was a great way to make extra money. Now you break even if you're lucky
The only problem I have with this mentality (refusing orders because it’s beneath you) is it festers. At my Walmart sparkholes are mocking me for taking $10,two bag, 4mile. The order will eventually be delivered so don’t let what others do(which you can’t control) ruin your day. Move along and do your thing.
@@ChadBest-ug8uo UE has started getting busy and the tip baiters have been on the uprise in my area. luckily the Bases pays arent horrible, 2-5$. Since the avg order is 3.5+ miles i dont typically risk it. but it all boils down to "every market is different" and "know your market"
I've been with DD and UE part time for 7 years now and I can tell you're a pro I also work with the good orders I don't run my car for NOTHING UNDER $10 I sometimes take 9$ but has to be 1 to 3 miles if not I don't do it I hate how some idiots do the $4 orders to 7$ orders they are working for free I will never take those orders not even if it's slow that's working for free I just turn off my app and I go home it blows my mind that some idiots are taking the $5 orders that's like 2 for gas and 3$ for delivery??? Hell no that's not me 😂.
There is enough people to do the work ones or twice and that’s good enough for uber. I’ve said before the delivery for a restaurant should be within a 1 to 2 miles radius to make sense. It’s not the customers fault. Customers are paying but the apps are not paying the drivers. They will go bankrupt eventually because its not sustainable anymore.
Exactly. The drivers have to pay expenses. The money they offer is sad that it’s even offered to anyone. I keep it on while going about my day and a few come in that are fair to good offers. Had it on all day and today I only took three and yesterday just one. I have other things to do but if it’s a fair offer I will take it. As you can see not many come through.
they'll only approve drivers on ebikes and mopeds, best of all now they don't need to do an identity check lol. Gig industry is on the way out so get it while you can
To answer your question it's supply and demand. Once drivers get deactivated or just get tired of the abuse and quit they will always have new drivers ready to take your spot. Once those drivers see there getting exploited, taken advantage of and get manipulated to the fullest extent they will quit, and it's rinse and repeat. Think about it people that do this line of work need the money and do it for many different reasons. The companies know this and that's why they abuse the drivers and offer low ball pay. The reality is the money to be made with gig work came during the pandemic and those days are gone! Folks prepare yourself for base pay of $1.00 and less. It's coming and you will remember I told you so.
Some customers don't care about how little drivers get paid. You can find online comments of customers saying driver's are being entitled to expect tips. That it's not the customer's problem gig companies don't pay the drivers enough. They usually close with some snide remark about if you don't like your pay go get a real job.
Lol man last night I got acDD order going 22 miles for $16.50 so that's 44 miles for basically $17 bucks. I declined it and said to myself who the EF is going to deliver that? The crazy thing is I'm way out of the area and these orders cume in on a consistent basis
@@bballah9969someone may be heading to delivery location whether coming from work or was out of his spot, and will take that order since he’s going that way anyway. UberEats know what they’re doing. There will always be someone who will take shitty orders to us but not shitty to them.
The only person that can hold these companies accountable is the government and these companies a long time ago bought every one of these politicians. Uber can afford to pay famous people to do commercials but cannot pay their drivers. A living fucking wage. I'm fucking sick of it man. If you can't tell I've blown up the comments
The companies are not taking advantage.... the business model is for a stream of younger drivers to come in and out.... for for grown men to try to make it into a steady form of income.
Preach it Pedro, I’m on my way to an interview. Can’t do this anymore …. We need more videos like this to reach all the STUPID people doing these deliveries
Decline order after order until decent stuff comes up. Don't worry about your acceptance rate. Just keep declining. Don't do the Walmart BS or the shopping crap. Just stick to food during lunch and dinner. Around 4 pm-12 AM on weekends. You will accumulate more $ quicker and barely drive as many miles. Decline
This is ridiculous I don't know how long this has happened but for some reason Uber implemented some new " policies " and now some of these are very bad I mean horrible so one is that if you accept an order and you drive to the establishment to pick it up and the order has been accepted by someone else or picked up by someone else or the restaurant is closed that apparently affects your cancellation rating, they told me that it was a glitch but I honestly believe that they're doing this to get rid of drivers because I had an order for Walmart and it was a bundle for three separate deliveries and I had to cancel because the delivery department at Walmart was closed and I even had Uber support canceled the order for me and bigger than shit I got 3% added to my cancellation rate I was down to 2% and afterwards I had 5% and it affected my cancellation rate and if you go there and the place is closed they're not going to give you any kind of composition for you wasting your gas to go over there and the stores closed or another driver picked it up they will not give you that compensation for you wasting your time and your gas going over there, this is a utterly ridiculous
Decline every order challenege. The issue is I am paying 32 dollars for the uber I am unaware you guys getting paid 8 bucks. Not until I started Uber did I ever come to realize you guys are getting exploited so hard. It is criminal. Below minimum wage. I am unsure how they are getting away with this.
its on purpose. They put 50 cent per mile trips for me all fucking day. i got one for 30 miles for 12 bucks. Im not driving the length of the ENTIRE CITY for 12 fucking dollars fucking shit app and im switcing to doordash never using uber eats again. trashing them any chance i get.
Uber eats has failed to pay myself and my wife both of who are Uber eats drivers for several of the $3 compensation fees after we went to the merchants and arrived and found that it had already been picked up by another driver Uber eats gave us the excuse that we had exceeded our allotment of $3 compensation pay for a certain time. We're just keeping notes on it I'm going to talk to an attorney and not bothering to deliver Uber eats for now. We're doing just fine without Uber eats.
It is insane and I've been driving as a side hustle since covid but lately you can't and I literally have to reject 99% of uber eats offers....it's ridiculous and at times doordash isn't any better but not nearly as ridiculous as ubers offers.
This dude is absolutely right, reject all orders that are a rip off to you, gas in at an all time high, you are NOT making jack shit, if you take them!!
An article came out today about Domino's delivery fees and I can't believe how many commentators say they're not paying the high delivery fee to get their delivery and don't understand the driver doesn't get that. They say and we still have to tip??
Exactly. Every delivery RU-vidr posted at least 20 videos complaining about the same thing. And yet they are still continuing driving for these apps. Driver is the least important part of this game when there's unlimited supply of them. Nobody cares about driver making money. They don't want you to make money. It's by design. It's getting worse, and nothing you can do to change it. These corporations will be catering only to their paying customers to make sure the money is flowing in and the shareholders are happy with dividends.
Gig work is fucking wack and these apps are fucking trash! What I think is funny is yall that still do gig work I would much rather work a W-2 with benefits and decent pay which is what I'm going back to once I'm healed from the accident I was in
I am in the process of trying to get out of the gig economy too much exploitation and abuse I'm trying to revive the career I had before I started in the gig economy
I agree. Let’s become wiser drivers together. You don’t actually earn anything from those shit offers so practice to calculate faster and strictly follow accepting rules.
I feel your frustration man. I really do and a lot of the younger generation don't understand what true employment is because if you're over 30 years old you know what worker rights are and what a employer is supposed to pay for but there they are taken for granted and hoping that the new generation doesn't expect as much as the old one did

@@TheDecider2024yea but there’s basically no penalty for just letting it run and denying the garbage. At least not for now. I’m sure they will adopt the DD model sooner or later though.
Just a way for these companies to skirt the minimum wage laws and reduce their overhead by eliminating their cost for fuel and insurance. Once you factor in gas, wear and tear on your vehicle, insurance and your time you are basically paying the company for the privilege to deliver for them
Multi app is only way to go. Uber eats has specific times and areas where you can get great orders. Just like most apps. Hard part is learning them all.
Lol man of gig work was so lucrative why do you have to multi app? Food delivery is dead man wake up. Once a recession hits you will really feel the slow down and even multi apping will not help you
Not in every market. 8 years doing this full time. Used to never need to multi app in the early days. Then we had to. Now, I've got a total of 10 apps and can barely make $300 all apps combined on a good week when I used to make $2,000+ a week just on Grubhub alone. Multi apping doesn't even help anymore.
