I am at my lowest today my husband of 35 yrs has decided to separate i am scared, sad, lonely, possibly depressed i have no job and i feel lost he created this world for me just to leave when i most needed him when i am physically broken and can not serve him. I kept questioning why I lost everyone from death and just leaving. Somehow I know, deep down, this was needed. Ive always depended on others. Its time I learn to stand on my own, and be ok with it ❤

I find the teachings of Buddhism so powerful with regards to solitude. I feel we need both solitude and the chance to interact with others. Buddhism through tools like the 4 Noble Truths help us to understand our own psychological triggers which through meditation and mindfulness helps us to understand and be compassionate to others. This is a virtual cycle that we can all learn and use in our daily lives. But it takes work. RU-vid clips like yours help us in this journey and thank you for sharing your wisdom.

I began my awakening 32 years ago - and still on my journey - it is a continual learning process - I have been single the whole time and never really wanted to date - I was a single mom and that seemed to fulfill my life. I think what I love the most about the spiritual journey is self-growth. I've felt that I'm a strong person who likes to discover more about myself, but this kind of growth is on another level. But it is also a truth that we may only be able to develop into those people by transforming ourselves, and being transformed, in solitude.
