I disagree. Epic, steam and battle net has nothing to do with sony an Xbox. That's why we are just now getting there titles on pc. These companies have not been charging a membership fee nor do I ever see them doing so, which is the point if the video. In order to game on a console online you have to have a membership. Now fortnite and warzone have contracts not to include those games in the membership. We already pay for internet to be online. We shouldn't have to pay a membership to play a game online when we already paid for that game and our internet. There double dipping on console. And we can see it because there is no membership fee for steam, epic battlenet. Ext...
ok imagine everyone jumps to pc.... what's stopping companies from charging people like wow. and ff14? all this will introduce is people paying a fee for every online game they would want... free online gaming for the most part exist mostly because of companies like Microsoft and Sony and even Nintendo forming relations with these AA companies so they get money still for free title downloads.. Edit: so with console you pay 99% of the time ONE fee..... and your online
Competition, on pc you are not fighting only against triple a developers or large companies. You are competing with every, from studios with 1 person, to studios who have hundreds. Most console players don't know much about indie developers, but on pc they are a standard. I my self have not played a single triple a game in a long time, being a few years. The reason is choice, you just have so much choice that triple a games are meh most of the time.
@frealsolidusauxil5873 I have PS5s and my pc. The whole point of the video is to show all the free games with a membership fee. No matter what, I have to pay 70 bucks for COD. But on pc I download and play. On PS5 I got to have a online membership in order play that game but pay my internet bill. Beside warzone. They have a contract with sony and Xbox on that. So I just play. Plus like my last videos on free games from steam, epic,since I don't have to pay a membership fee I can play those free games as long as I have internet if needed. But on console you still have to pay a membership fee in order to play those free games. So yes i think it's better to play on pc and I hear there's not many free games, hints why I made the videos to show that's not true. We got 100s of free games with no membership fees.
