Not sure if this was already in the comments, but I've had Wraith spawn in during random crime battles. She has her own team-up combos and ignores your fist-bump after you beat the enemies.
she spawns way more often in endgame, she isn’t that rare but still cool, she spawns for both peter and miles, she usually rejects and ignore peter even saying he’s getting slower but she praises miles
@@MicroMakesMusic literally not what he said. theres a mission near the end where miles is legit swinging WITH you before splitting up for the endgame mission.
This is super cool to see how much of Queens was added. The swamp area with the dilapidated building is Roosevelt Island, where the Green Goblin drops Mary Jane in the films. The stadium and rocket is in Corona Park. The rocket is part of The Hall of Science (always take me daughter there). Can't wait to get the game after getting some funds.
I want to know what it's like to play this game for people who live in New York. How does it feel playing a game in your own city? Is it accurate? Do the places feel familiar?
@@SilkyMilkyOriginal hopefully I can play soon, but from what I've seen, Queens got a lot of love. The train in Sunnyside, the Coca-Cola sign in LIC. I'm very curious to see what Coney Island looks like.
@@SilkyMilkyOriginal It feels like a smaller alternate version of NYC. Some areas feel very familiar. It is definitely not accurate though. It is definitely easier to navigate the map.

Idk if anyone has mentioned it yet but the building you fly over around 3:37 is part of the game's main story. Without any spoilers basically the Kraven missions take you there but its only accessible during those missions. But the rest looks promising, hopefully we get a big DLC soon considering how short the story was.
@@chipmontoya1 maybe, and im happy with how long it was personally, but to me sm1 felt longer to complete and i didnt even finish all side quests until after id finished the story while in sm2 i finished all side activities before finishing the main story
@@chipmontoya1they doubled the map but didn’t have nearly as much to do. Maybe they didn’t wanna bloat the game, but they didn’t even have many spidey app quests like in MM.
Only had Venom Harry spawn when I was Miles, too... I was pretty surprised when he came in and helped out, super cool. I've since passed that mission though
@@TravisSgyatt yeah I saw it just the once, it was something like "are you part of the gang?" if I remember. Nothing big, but I did like it considerably more than fighting with Wraith. I don't know why the writers love to make people that have some shit happen to them absolutely unbearable when it comes to their character arc (see: Phin)
There are lots of unique conversations between NPC's. There is a pair in a construction zone and two women talking over a baby carriage that each have 20-minute conversations.
That building on the island is definitely going to be the Flame’s hideout or possibly Kraven’s kids hideout. It’s the only building you can actually stand on. Also everyone explore this as much as possible because they are going to patch this asap.
8:25 well with the fact Shocker's helmet is there as well when it's supposed to be back at the zoo base kinda makes it seem that this was scrapped and Rhino is still alive
Theory: The dlc expansions may be (in this order): Eastern Astoria, marshland, and the Statue of Liberty. These may play into Carnage, like, he gets the symbiote in the dilapidated marshland building, then he'd wreck havoc (everywhere but mainly) in Astoria, and we'd finally beat him on the Statue of Liberty. Side note: We may actually fight Green Goblin on the Statue of Liberty (in the next game), but just saying.
@ghad311 Maybe, but I don't think they will have a symbiote be a primary villain in back to back games. Besides, it feels like Yuri is going to track down Cassidy within a few months which would work for a dlc. Though they could have the Chameleon as the dlc villain, but he doesn't seem like enough on his own.
@@ghad311 No way are they going to have another main Spider-Man game have a symbiote as a main villain; I mean, how much bigger can it get than Venom almost taking over New York and the rest of the world? What would Carnage's story be? "Hey I'm the big bad symbiote that is going to kill everyone in New York and then the rest of the world", and Peter and Miles would be like, "Ok, this again, cool". There is no way they would recycle that symbiote storyline again. Spider-Man 2 is a game about symbiotes and learning about their existence, so any DLCs for the game should definitely include Carnage. Spider-Man 3 is Doc Ock and Green Goblin for sure.
Honestly, my thoughts are that they will use Carnage in the DLC, or Venom spin off game, we kinda know Green Goblin is coming, thats who, as well as Doc Ock, maybe even Hob Goblin for the 3rd game, guessing they want to him that story time to breath, instead of packing it with Venom, Carnage, Green Goblin, Hob Goblin, because greeny is Peters biggest main villian, could even have Green for Peter, Hob for Miles..Just my thoughts
One of the things the other Spider-Men will do in combat is help complete some of the optimal combat objectives such as webbing up enemies to a surface, swing kicking them, etc whatever the objective requires. And once they've successfully done one of these it'll count as successfully done
The rocket is not original from the game, thats a famous park in queens that has a stadium, park, and space museum because a lot of scientists used it in the space race in the 60’s. It’s the same park from Iron Man 2 where he had the Stark Expo. Edit: Correction, it wasn’t used by scientists in the space race but parts of the park were modeled to represent the space race, or just space in general for the worlds fair in 1964, I went early 2022 so I was a little hazy on what I learned from the tour guide.
With regard to the agent venom encounters, I only ever ran into him as Pete. I didn’t even know you could run into him as Miles. And I played a lot as Miles maybe a 70/30 split. Anything I could do as Miles I did, I like his powers and suits more. Whenever I got help during crimes as Miles it was Pete, Pete got Harry a handful of times.
I feel like once you beat the game they should allow everyone who fought crime at any point in the story to just show up regardless even if it doesn’t make sense to the story cause you already beat the game I just want to fight crime with agent venom again lmao
The head under Rhino is definitely Vulture. The one to the right looks like Scorpion. The one on the left is Shocker. :: I'm guessing he didn't put Electro's on there because of what he said during the Zoo stage, where you find the recording of Kraven saying he thought Electro would be a worthy opponent, but ended up being a waste of time... but at least his tech could be useful. ::
The Rhino thing probably got scrapped. Happens all the time in game development. Might have different ideas for him or even just the concept of mounting human heads on a wall was a touch too dark for the tone of the game.
I DEFINITELY had the agent venom assist while playing Peter. I think it was right before the mission where you play as MJ for the first time. I have screenshots from it too!
I'd love to hear them chat sh!t in Russian (altho that would definitely require full recast of both voice actors since the Rhino guy definitely doesn't speak Russian)
Still can't believe my boy Shocker got wacked by Kraven. My boy Herman didn't deserve to be hunted like that. Plus, we never got to see Peter chase him to the ends of the earth.
I had only one encounter with Agent Venom as Peter, doing the finger shooting thing like Miles did. Did two screenshots of them without realizing the next mission I did next was where I play as MJ and no more Agent Venom, so that was lucky.
i hope Rhino lived; i sped through the story to avoid spoilers since some came out the day before release, only took two days for 100 percent game/trophy progress
That at 3:55 is the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center where the US open is held every year. There was a part of me that was hoping it and Citi Field; aka the NY Mets stadium, would be accessible in the parts of Queens we would be able to explore but I figured it'd be too much to ask. Seeing the tennis center rendered in some way is actually kinda cool though.
I think it could be cool, in terms of giving kravens hunt some gravity and making it an impactful moment. There’s a ton more Spider-Man villains to populate New York. So they could be going that route. Or, they left the heads out of bounds, because they decided he shouldn’t have killed idk almost all the well known, usual suspects of Spider-Man. Either way I hope more is explained in the dlc’s. I trust them though to craft a good story
3:45 is this the building used for the nigh mission for the final Chapter of The Flame. I guess the devs have to put those maps somewhere to be used in missions.
I wouldn’t have rushed first time if I knew New Game + won’t in game from launch🤦🏼♂️ hated the risk of a youtube thumbnail spoiling it for me, as it did before the midnight release about, also I want to play the story in classic webbed and classic black webbed suit from the movies (got black webbed literally before I started the last mission where it forces you to wear less good looking suits ESPECIALLY MILES) they didn’t have to do Miles wrong and ruin his hair lol, then the suit would look good showing his hair on final mission
I hope Insomniac makes a Venom Game. They said if there’s a demand high enough, they give it some thought. Maybe center it on Flash Thompson as Agent Venom
Before you go to the foundation where Hair tell you to meet you at after the tombstone Chase there’s a crime and I got to meet Harry with Pete. You should go back and replay if it works for you.
If you go to observaetory that doc oc an spiderman trashed in the first spiderman game on the upper left side of the map, theres 2 npcs that talk about how they wish there was a observateoy they could visit an then the other npc mentions ya we had one but spiderman happened. Very rare to see the npcs not being happy about what spiderman did. Figured id point this out. The 2 npcs that talk about him are on a bench at the beginning part of the observatory under the bypass that gos over the road an entrance to the observatory. Their in regular clothes too. One has blond hair. 👱♂️ Hope that helps. On a side note the observatory itself is being worked on by a crew of people. Oh an you can trigger this enteraction pretty much at any time too during the game. Hope that helps
I just got the game and I got miles to help me with an arson crime were a building was on fire, Miles actually webbed some of the flames coming out of the building.
I've had agent venom show up when I was Peter. But it makes sense that he doesn't show up after a certain point because Harry no longer has the suit. I think around then is when the wraith starts showing up.
I'm pretty sure Phin killed rhino in the miles morales game cuz she stabbed him and then miles pushes phin out of the building so we don't know if he bled out or roxxon helped him with his wound
Im not sure about rhino and scorpion but i remember there was vultures wings and electros suit in one of the mj quests im not sure wich one it was though
I finished the game.. it doesn't matter honestly because of new game plus. It's ideal to finish the main game however you want just make sure you 100% the game in all arena's. Hope this helps.
From the second kraven killed Scorpion I hated him (scorpion is one of my favorites from the first game) and I was never happier at anything in a video game than when kraven died, seeing rhino’s head there made me a thousand times happier that he died
Since this are all in one way or another spoilers... This is NOT Agent Venom Flash Thompson you encounter. It's Harry Osborn with the Venom symbiote. His look is a nod to Agent Venom, but it's not him.
I was playing as peter and Harry was stopping some hunter spying, but his asset didn't load and he was a cube because I had been playing all day, at the end I interacted with him and the game crashed, I don't know if it was his missing asset which I doubt, or the fact that he isn't meant to spawn when you're playing as peter
Why isn’t anybody talking about the glide zip by pressing X you will never touch the floor. Even if you’re flying over water, you’ll keep zipping with a glide and if you pull up, you’ll gain some height and your web zip again and it goes right into the glide never stopping. I keep seeing people going from glide to swing when you don’t have to you can just keep gliding. It’s the same way you keep gliding and Just Cause 3 and 4.
1:28 I actually got him with Peter it was literally right after I finished the mission where he shows up and I thought it was miles until realizing it was actually harry lol
Imagine if they made is like Web of shadows map was huge and symbiote wolverine, black cat, vulture, and electro plus venom. And the move set was alot better in web of shadows
The games is so fresh they’re probably using this time to see what else people want in the game and then add it to an update later. Insomniac has a great habit of giving their fans what they want so I wouldn’t put it past them 😭
The head on the left is not Electro, it's Shocker. Insomniac electro doesn't have a mask, the lightning bolts on his traditional mask is instead electrical scars on his face. Also there is a Sandman level in the park by the water that has those floor water fountains. I just stand right in the middle of it and then web yank them in. No punches thrown lol
Am I the only one that finds it kind of lame that a lot of these classic Spider-Man villains that were in the first game just get killed off screen unceremoniously? As far as I understand Scorpion and Mr. Negative were the only ones that were being transferred out of the Raft so how did Kraven get his hands on these other villains cuz I'm pretty sure they were all still locked up in the Raft?
I had the agent venom help while playing Peter... cause I remember thinking to myself how big of dorks they are together with the finger guns lol. And yeah the heads look to be shocker and scorpion... in addition to the more obvious vulture and rhino heads. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided they didn't want all of those villains confirmed dead though in case they want to use them again in the future so I suspect its less a clue to their fate and more a fate they could have had.
