I started cigarettes in High School in 2008. When I got married I swtiched to vaping in 2018. Vaping was way worse because their was no smell I had to worry about so I was vaping everywhere. The nicotines killed my appetite and I started to lose weight. I weighed 126 when my lung collapsed and had to be in the hospital with a tube in my chest for a week. Have not vaped/smoked since febuary 2021.

It isn't proven that vaping causes cancer as of right now but it does indeed causes other dangerous illnesses mainly due to the fact when someone vapes they are possibly inhaling metal particles which then will possibly kill you.

I've never passed my vape, nor would I ever take someone else's. That's just disgusting. Also I've never seen people letting others use their vape, so it might be a local/country thing?
that's so true my friend group can sometimes consist of like 15 to 20 people at one time and the amount of times vapes go around is unreal, but its like passing round a fag or spliff so they don't care as long as they get a puff or 2 they're happy. which i do find concerning, especially when they all get sick bcoz of one person who shares that vape with them. this has happened countless times with my friends and they all just laugh it off like its nothing
I vaped for a while, not because I thought it was cool, just because I wanted a distraction I guess. It didn't last long. Only for like 3-6 weeks. It didn't help with anything lmao. Moral of the story: Vaping doesn't do shit.
all of you guys are just factually incorrect vaping first of all uses a heated coil to essentially aerosolise the e liquid similar to a smoke machine there is no combustion going on in the vape unlike a cigarette. black lungs are caused by tar which is a byproduct of BURNING something like a regular cigarette. tar is also the reason cigarette filters turn brown when you smoke them and why your teeth get stained yellow. E juice does not condense in your lungs and fill them up. the actual amount of liquid that is inhaled is a tiny amount hence why some of these disposable vapes boast 5000 hits even 10000 hits. Your body will absorb it of it even condenses inside even though you will have exhaled the majority of it amd what little is left is absorbed when it lands on the tissue of the lungs. please for the love of all that is holy read a basic anatomy book and educate yourselves on how the body works
I dunno man. Vapes have 5% of negative effects that cigarettes have. These guys probably don't hit their lungs either. It's more likely that they'll lose their teeth though.
@@hiiambarney4489you should look into the cardiotoxic effects of nicotine. there may not any tar, but nicotine is essentially shocking your body awake every time you take a hit and its been shown to have detrimental effects on heart health (more than what you might think)

i vape and the only place they rly sell them in my area is gas stations and there’s like 1-2 smoke shops where i live, but i always get mine from gas stations bc they’re cheaper, in a smoke shop you get one elfbar for like $40-50 but in a gas station they’re $20, and i’m broke bc i don’t have a real job yet so i get mine from the cheaper place. but as the saying goes, do as i say, not as i do, DONT VAPE PPL, ITS ADDICTIVE! trust me i’m planning on quitting, i just don’t have the will power and mental strength to do so currently, but i will eventually, but ppl rly weren’t wrong when they said you can get addicted with just one hit, it’s true, i did, and i hope nobody else develops this habit, it’s horrible for you, pls don’t do it ppl!!

The FDA was just upset that Easy Wholesale, LLC didn't get a "marketing authorization" for a "new tobacco product". The purpose of the legislation requiring this is to prevent competition with established brands, who are grandfathered in and don't need such authorization letters.

When vaping became truly huge, the "established brands" got absolutely SCREWED and hemorrhaged market share while no-name companies swooped in and took all the customers and sales. For example Juul (their fault, "advertised to kids," but still) was forced to pull its mixed fruit, mango, etc. and could only sell mint and tobacco flavor cartridges (flavors were banned in non-disposables,) meanwhile new companies were starting up and manufacturing the throwaways which allowed them to skirt around the laws and regulations that cost the "established brands" their ass. And that was right around the time the legal age in the US shifted from 18 to 21, removing millions of legal users from the pool immediately (harming the "established brands" that stand to lose more by breaking laws and regs.) Brands like Elfbar only ever came to be because brands were able to capitalize on how hard the "established brands" got bent over by the federal government. Boo hoo, I'm sure they're crying in their Maseratis, but the point still stands. The government purposely and effectively stopped the "established brands" from running away with the market.

The most dangerous part of vapes is the nicotine intake if you have preexisting conditions like issue with blood pressure or cardiovascular issues

Vaping was supposed to be a way to quit smoking, it was never supposed to be a permanent habit. I used it as intended to help me stop smoking and ended up fully quitting thanks to using vaping as a way to quit the taste of cigarettes, and then slowly weaning off of vaping to quit the nicotine part of it. Vaping is a godsend for those trying to quit smoking, but should never ever be started as a habit unto itself, just like nicotine patches/gum.
Ah, you fell for that line? Vaping was designed to get people off of cigarettes and onto vaping. There is way more concentrated nicotine in vape pods/juice than cigarettes. I am glad you were able to kick the habit.
@jmackinjersey1 it helped me get over the taste- I used actual tobacco-flavored vape though, so I switched from the original taste and feel to something far inferior, which helped trick my brain into only being addicted to the nicotine part, and thus make it easier to wean off
They’re elfbars, nobody actually buys them anymore because of the decrease in production quality. This is actually one reason why people stopped buying them.

Mostly kids I'm guessing because they're less likely to care if they're selling to underage customers. The kids themselves don't want to order them online in case their parents find out.
These disposable vapes have better flavors, not the shit like elf bar though. 💀 Its a lot more convenient also and you dont get juice in your pocket when you're done you just throw IT away.
