Sorry but Nick saying “I think family are the people who actually give a shit” and then it just pans to Tori standing there in the pouring rain 😭😭😭 I can’t stop gushing about how amazing Tori was this season!!
Thanks for dropping this so soon! Micheal Holden is a main character in Tori’s book that takes place around now. Oh and tori does have friends but she feels like she doesn’t fit in with them so u often see her alone (until she meets micheal). Anyways love this reaction!!
@@TReacts. You should absolutely read the book, especially if you liked Micheal and Tori. Solitaire is amazing (it is pretty dark though) and it's actually the first book of Alice Oseman. Heartstopper kinda is the spin off here
Seriously...David is like 3 seconds on screen and I am already beyond angry again. :D (In some way however I am glad that his character is included and also how the actor plays this role. Because there are people out there who really behave like this and I think it is important for other people so see this and realise how messed up that behavior is.)
HAHAHH FOR REAL! Literally me! So enraged from one shot! HAHAH It is so important, it might help hold the mirror up to people who are like that too! Hopefully they can see the affect it holds!! Thanks for watching with me, hope you enjoy :)
AHHHHH STOP IT HAHAAHA im so mad. he popped into my head. then turned up. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES! I fully forgot all about him until that point too!! Why did they do that to us HAHA
I love how much they’re letting the characters grow up this season, through their maturity with helping each other, through acknowledging that teens like to drink, and through the navigation of sex. In the context of two seasons of them being younger and less mature, this all feels so earned. And the acting! There isn’t a weak link the cast-no one you say, “well yeah, this one is just okay.”
@@TReacts. I have heard that online some people do bully him for his looks specially lately for his character of Wiccan in Agatha he has been getting hate cause he is and I quote “not hot enough like in the comics”
@TReacts. sadly I've been there I went on the radio in my city to talk about some college project that got big and they just went on about the uk "trans debate" because I looked gender nonconforming at the time
The New Year's Eve party is the first time that the friend group is seeing Charlie after his leave from school - hence the particular enthusiasm for him!
i actually think tori's "friend" might be autistic maybe? often people with autism dont read social cues very well. which would explain why micheal might sound a bit odd or out of place in the conversations that are happening. he just says what he thinks.
i TOTALLY agree! whilst editing i did think this! Another amazing form of representation the show brings! I hope there's another season and we can learn more about him!!
From the book Solitaire where Tori and Micheal are the main characters I think they both are. Micheal also gave me ADHD vibes, but they definitely feel very neurodivergent
As so someone who is autistic, I would honestly freak out if he is because there is such little good representation in the industry. I think it would impact many people's lives. Also, great catch!
I actually, surprisingly felt a little connected to David in episode 5 when it comes to his dad. Unfortunately, I would be in the same position growing up, sitting in my apartment window waiting for my dad to show up. He didn't half the time, not even a phone call. All this anger and resentment would build up inside me and I felt like I would lash out at him when he eventually did turn up again. But, when he did - all those emotions would just melt away because I was happy to finally see him. It happened over and over, a relentless cycle. So I do have empathy for David in that capacity. If only he had empathy for his own brother and Charlie 😐
I love that we finally have someone reacting who isn't criticising Jane that much. As someone who has a mum that is a bit like Jane, I would like more people to cut her some slack. She's clearly damaged but she's doing her best to be there for her kids. Even in the books I doubt she ever means to hurt her kids. She deserves some leeway. At least more than most people seem to give her.
I love your reactions!! I actually found your channel recently from the first Hearstopper season reactions so this is such a treat!! BTW the author they both found really hot is Jonathan Bailey, who plays one of the main roles in Netflix hit show Bridgerton (you might have heard of it he plays Anthony Bridgerton) and since then has become really popular as he is an amazing actor ( I would really recommend that you watch his show Fellow Travelers and he is one of the protagonist of the upcoming musical Wicked) so his appearance in this show was more of an Easter egg/cameo. He has also said that he is a fan of the series since the beginning as he is a gay man too!!
Oh hey my name is Tristan too that’s so cool!! I think I partially chose that name with you in the back of my mind because you were there with these reactions last season when I started feeling dysphoria but you make it better :)
@@TReacts. of course!! I love how you speak on important matters while reacting, you seem very kind and genuine:) and the shows pretty neat! One season on Netlifx with a little hint of a queer couple :D love them
One thing this season help me understand more is the othering trans people go through, especially in these times. I cried for Elle, I understand the targeting and it is not fun and it’s heartbreaking people see them and the rest of the lgbt with such vitriolic hate
I mean the episode 5 is for me the red book this winter... Im dying and crying and i hate charlies family except his dad and sister ❤🥰 and yeah nicks family is amazing to char and tao and elle have sex
i warm up to charlie's mum... eventually. HAHA she definitely goes about things the complete wrong way! but as she mentions that spouts from her mother! Ahhh so much happened in the 5th episode! Love love loveee ❤️
@@TReacts. Yeah i know i understand Charlie's mom but she is not the mom of the year but i understand and is that's she explain and love your reaction 😊
