I think this works better if you have natural waves or curls otherwise you’re gonna have to style it a lot. On straight hair it just looks chunky especially if you have thick hair.

it really just depends, i had straight hair and it became wavy. you just need to brush it out a lot and after a week or so it should start to have more volume!!

I got my haircut like this and it just fluffed up even more since I have thick wavy hair. I look like one of those moms from the 80s 😭 Edit: 4 months later and my hair looks amazing btw 💀. But that’s just cause my hair is much softer/lighter so it curls up and looks like it’s not growing fast. I do have to recut my bangs like every month but I’m cool with that cause it goes with my face shape much better.

If you need help, here's some tips 1. It's better to start of your wolf cut by wetting it. 2. Wavy - more shape Curly - hard to shape because of its curls Straight - more flat, depends on the length, better off styling it. 3. If you want the layers to really show up, cut at least the length of your pointer finger and above. It is really important to cut more than less 4. Make sure the ponytail's shape is just fine and clean, and make sure it is tight. 5. The ponytail must be at the very top of your head and the second ponytail which will be done after you cut the first one, should be tied from the ears (not from the back of the ear.) 6. Don't use craft scissors and don't use an eyebrow razor to thin it. Instead, use thinning scissors. If you don't have any, just do the point cut to make it thinner. Hope this helps!! 😉😊

OK. here are some tips if you are wanting to get a wolf cut: 1. if you aren’t korean, or asian, (NO HATE!) then don’t get one based off of a picture of them with that hair cut because they have thinner hair and StUff. 2. If you have naturally straight hair, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are willing to style it every time you take a shower. And if you have thicker hair, either get it thinner out OR style it. 3.when you are getting this, make sure you have A BUNCH of pictures to show the stylist so they know what you want. 4. TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR HAIR!! i hope these tips help! Any more questions?

I had hair until my knees and my parents hated the idea of a haircut but I convinced them. I got a haircut up till my shoulders about a month ago with tons of layers and the thing is that if I style it a certain way I get a wolf cut and if I leave it I have wavy layers so best of both worlds.

Länger als zur Schulter waren meine Haare nicht gewachsen, als ich meine Ausbildung beendet hatte, bin ich alle 3 Wochen zum Friseur gegangen und habe nach 2 Jahren dann meine Lieblings Frisur gefunden, einen Army Flatrate Cut! Nun bin ich Mitte 50 Jahre und trage meine Haare als Butscut. Aber ich hätte auch gerne noch eine dieser Schnitte ausprobiert!!

I have one so I am gonna answer some 1. well depends on how short you cut it I cut mine to my neck and I can tie it but I needed to clip my bangs or put it behind my ears also I have a lot of layers so the pony tail is gonna look uneven but I don’t mind 2. It doesn’t take too long you just need a flat iron to style it!! 3. it depends on your hair type mine is thick and a little wavy at the bottom so It looks good even tho I don’t style it 4. you should style it!

hey i did wolfcut so i hope this information helps you..... first of all if u have ur hair(after cutting) above ur shoulder then i think u dont have to bother tying up because it will be too short for most of ur hairs to reach...but if u have it below shoulder then u can tie up but if ur bangs are shorter then it wont include while tying.....(hehe i am going into to much detail...) next is personally i dont style my hair much....becuase its wavy it depends on ur hair type....but still i thing it wont take much time... and since i have a wavy hair i dont style it much but it looks pretty.... and i personally thing that "kinda straight hair" can really pull off....and yes if u believe it would look good on u..then u should try..i mean its hair it will grow back..and i definitely think that it would really look good on u.....(i always thought that it would look good on me and i tried and it turned out pretty well) so try it

Well I got my hair cut and I have wavy curly hair and at times I look like those 80s moms.. At times a wolf.. And at times an electrocuted lion............... But it still looks good so I'm not complaining... I just have to put in some serum and I'm Good...(funny thing is I never asked for it to be cut Like this but now I'm obsessed .... 😂)

don’t let that discourage you :) it’s better if you have naturally wavy/curly hair, but if you don’t, you can just take the time to style it a lil!!

I have natural straight hair, my hairdresser chose a cut that they thought would suit me and gave me this haircut! Now I have natural waves even when my hair are wet.

I don't understand calling it a wolf cut this is basically how to cut a shag with no experience and I have heard it called a unicorn because you're really supposed to pull forward like that one clip since you're wanting the shortest layers in the front it's just the concept of pulling hair forward to get the layers of a shag then graduating up for deep layers it's a shag ...wolf cut ? It's literally how a shag is done professionally you pull the hair straight forward to get the right layers Lol I still love a nice shag it's crazy versatile and so easy if you've got wavy or curly hair you literally do nothing and look hella cool

it's just a name bro, many hairstyles go through different names even if they're essentially the same thing. you can have neon green and then neon green again with a little more blue and it may still be the same thing but it's technically not, even if the difference was little :)

they we're supposed to measure how long or how short the cut should be by getting a stand at the very bottom of your hair after you tie it so it beocmes even and that's when you cut the front parts of it istg, love the video btw
