I remember seeing her as a cop in the short lived show "The Gates." Am still a bit sad that the show was never given a chance. It only lasted one season and I enjoyed the entire cast.

If people are so obsessed with linking genetics to how people look then I don't understand why they say that she is twenty five percent dutch descent when she does not look European at all. I find that offensive because i am a European born national. She looks Far Eastern. I am a European born national born in Belgium now living in the UK. I was not born with a tag on my face telling people my true self personalty. Personality and identity develop through childhood and life experiences. I understand she is explaining issues of ethnicities based on how casting directors perceive actors. I have also worked in the film industry. I think Hollywood is fair play to an extent because its creative energy that's supposed to express things accurately from a historical perspective. However if history books have lied to us then we cannot blame Hollywood. I like her but on a conventional level people in society are obsessed with genetics. People only seem to be aware of genotypes rather than phenotypes that shape our identity and personality based on our environment rather than where our ancestors come from which is debatable and evolutionary. It's the kind of mentality that South Asian people have in South Asia influenced by caste and class system and right wing white patriots in America. I have come across people that completely deny my existence by ridiculing me when i say i am a European born national. People's attitudes hurts me deeply especially as I try to relive my childhood to find peace and solice in my life by connecting with my past again. As a person on the Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD I am also recovering from depression. The people with negative mentality tend to be South Asian nationals. It's as though we are not supposed to exist and our precious childhood memories have no value because others don't like the way we look. We are the way God created us. So there cannot be anything better than us being the way we are and feel rather than how others want to see us. It's sad that mass media propaganda has turned the world upside down once again since the lockdown and poisoned the minds of the new generation with prejudice perspectives. There is a reason I detached myself from society over a decade ago by stop watching and reading news and cheesy popular culture. Don't forget Hitler. It all starts with such egoistic mentality. There is a lesson to be learned. I am sure most people would hate to see innocent children and adults gassed in gas chambers. I wish peace for the world 😢
