Hmm, i allways questioned myself why do submarines not use the thing surrounding them as a recharger for electricity. Why dont they add loop holes to the external skin of the submarines that spin electric chargers? Wouldnt that give them an additional underwater time? Maybe noise our sound created with this system could be an issue, But it could be a tool that can be activated and deactivated on need, so for long safe travels activate it, and for dangerous situation switch so silent mode. Additionaly, needing to get up for air kinda too seems a bit weird in modern times, considering the oxygen present in water and the possibility of extracting that aswell to raise the amount of time being able to be submerged.
