most pianos aren’t tuned unless they’re owned by somebody who understands pianos and cares for them like a pianist yk? my upright is “in tune” but is flat and sharp a few cents on in almost every area but nobody can notice it at that small of a difference edit: this piano is very obviously VERY out of tune ik what you mean, im js
@@noallpro basic level I agree but I completely disagree when it comes to advanced pieces that require time and emotion and honestly having really good sight reading skills too
A year ago I would’ve agreed completely. Then I took jazz studies. I’m not the best, but I can pull off a decent convincing solo. Improvising is fun! Just stay in the key, use corresponding scales (blues, Dorian. Mixolydian, major, etc). Depending on the song I either play the notes in the key signature starting or the blues scale in that key. It’s fun once you get used to it! I’ve been slowly working on improving my ears, range, ect. Plus I’m jazz I actually get to play the melody. I play bass clarinet so in concert band I play the bass line and harmonies. In the school jazz band I play tenor saxophone, and for a local jazz band that is just finishing for the semester I played bass clarinet. I’ve been playing bass clarinet for 5 years, tenor sax for 5 months.
It’s so cool seeing people randomly walk up and play with people. Like it’s totally not staged at all. Every time a pianist sits down someone magically appears to perform with them 🤩🤩🤩
It's not strange at all if the guy is recording everyday when he's playing piano and if we consider the fact that many people walk through this hall. So it's not strange to notice a musician meeting another musician and making music together.
@@robertkomanec2028 Buddy, I play piano. It's not broken and literally what he meant is that it's so out of tune (especially the lower notes) that it sounds and feels broken to play. Don't respond if you can't even understand what he meant.
@@MellowJelly It would take a few solid years to learn 3rd mvmnt. I've tried to get it before, and been playing piano for 5 disorganized years at that time :/. So it is impressive, plus there's the risk of fk ups, the fact he got over it is hard too. (edit: maybe I'm just slow though, idk)
@@stefanmirica6485 It doesn't take years. You specifically could do it in probably a week or 2 since you're decent I assume. Play it painstakingly slow with a metronome over and over. Then speed it up slowly until you get to full speed. You'll be surprised just how fast you pick it up. Make sure when you practice it that your fingers are actually doing the motions even if it's slow.
I look up to this guy's ability to perfectly comorehend/speak French. Idk and idc if French is his native language, I look up to learning French like that.
Jesus loves us and died for us For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. @@ghetoknight7801 not really because malheureusement is describing how its not tuned and not a negative, its basically saying like "I think that the piano is sadly not tuned, but its very good"
@@ghetoknight7801 Good point, French is a very special language. Sometimes some sentences may seem weird, but these sentences are right (Sorry, I don't speak English very well, I apologize in advance for spelling mistakes)
@@ghetoknight7801 tip, "ne (word) pas" is the rule. You shouldn't have a "ne" without a "pas" nor vise versa. Examples: n'est pas, je ne sais pas & vous ne voulez pas.

My musician ears have never been so confused and pleased at the same time with this untuned piano 😂. Never felt so satisfied and anxious at the same time before lol!!!
this is my favorite piece. i heard it in the movie Misery once and I’ve loved it ever since. they played it at my sisters choir concert once, the pianist did it without sheet music, just straight from memory
I love him playing on some janky ass piano in public and people enjoying it. Stop being what they're doing to watch and listen. We need more of this. ❤
The thing is moonlight sonata has 3 movements. I feel like the first 2 are always extremely under appreciated Edit: yes the first one is famous but it’s still kind of under appreciated, more often in public places I feel like you would hear the 3rd movement
Hey I love your music so so much! I’m not much of a crier, but music gets me. Nearly every video you make has me on the verge of tears from the shear beauty of it! Please keep posting your amazing piano skills, it’s truly a blessing just to be able to listen to you play. I’d probably sob if I saw you playing irl!! Have a great day!
As a jazz player this made me so happy hearing how he figured out how to use to working notes and string together a solo. Plus he worked with the background you played and just *chefs kiss*

@@BobbyFisaherI'm not a artist so I don't know how rare this is, but two of my ex's learned piano by ear, it's possible! Don't let dyslexia weigh you down!
it’s worth giving a shot by learning to play by ear! i personally know multiple people who’ve learned to play instruments by ear, not piano specifically but it can be done! Honestly it’s never too late to start learning too, playing music can be difficult & frustrating but ultimately it is really fun & fulfilling. U also always have the instrument god gave u, ur voice lol! people often think of singing as either ur born with a good voice or ur screwed but rly it’s something that improves with practice & also that even if u don’t sound good it’s just fun & u can do whatever u want so why not
