For whatever reason, RU-vid decided to promote this video to me this morning. Been following the obvious WT channels, but your stuff is something different - difficult to describe, but I subbed.

Honestly, the Scimitar has the reputation it deserves. I've tried using this thing, I've tried to love it, since I do have a particular soft spot for British vehicles. But I just can't bring myself to say I actually enjoy playing it. The only way you're actually able to get kills in this thing is to approach someone from outside their vision and pray to God he doesn't notice you, because any kind of evasive maneuvering will totally cripple your ability to kill anything in this absolute bathtub of a plane. You absolutely have to use it at high speed since that's the one thing it does relatively well since its got zero agility at lower speeds. But at high speed it handles like the pilot had 12 pints of beer before he stepped into the cockpit. So your best bet to actually kill anything is to let the Aim-9bs do all the work, which feel like they only have a 50% chance of hitting even in ideal circumstances. Frankly, if you want to play a plane that's very fast, just use the Israeli A-4H at 8.3. It isn't quite as fast and doesn't have Aim-9s, but it's pretty damn close in terms of speed on top of actually having good controls and maneuverability. Or if you REALLY want a missile boat, just use the F9F-8 Cougar, again, FAR superior handling characteristics.

Except for it's speed it's absolut dogwater. Your only play is zoom and boom and you can't aim while doing that because no rudder. GG would never play again.

The Scimitar is such a weird plane. It climbs like the space shuttle and turns like it too. It shouldn't work as well as it does but I've had more success with it than most other British jets around that BR.

8.3-8.7 Britain is some of the most fun I have in jets. Swift F.7 is also pure joy

Please translate miles per hour to kilometers per hour, or at least kilometres. Your content is very good, but you're American/British...

I like the climb rate and the guns are great, but i cant get them on target most of times... So that kinda ruins it for me.. And no guns on target equals to no kills.. I dont have the aim9bs yet.. so right now, i dont like the plane much..

What mods do you have on? Everything sounds much better
