You did not fully break the truck, the officials inevitably broke the truck when they killed it mid jump. I personally would've ripped them a new one for doing that, they couldve waited until you landed that last jump then shut it down. You are a damned good driver and you did what you could

Also the official broke way more stuff on that truck than you lol. They should NEVER shut a truck off mid jump, if something’s broken, wait until it lands so that you It doesn’t land locked up, then shut I’d off. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen a truck shut off mid air, and that’s the reason. Don’t sweat it Matt!

This video is crazy. I remember going to see monster trucks with my dad probably 20 years ago and seeing bounty hunter back then. I used to have a toy car he got me at the show when I was younger and this is the first time I’ve seen bounty hunter since then. Crazy this video unlocked memories from my childhood

Track officials literally caused the front axle to lock up .never should a truck be shut off mid air like that .

I wasn’t even the one driving and the fact that they shut him down mid jump erks me so much… probably snapped the front shaft and who knows what else because of it… you don’t just stop a screaming motor like that… shame but great job Matt!!!

Looks like a blast. There seems to be more work that goes into monster trucks and their performances than the average person sees. I have always liked these guys and their performances but I gained a whole new level of respect for what they do after watching these videos. Great job Matt, for a rookie you did really well. I'm sure the rear broke during landing on the big last jump. You can hear the engine being revved up and boost being built as you landed, keeping the wheel speed too high when hitting the ground and the wheels wanting to dead stop basically. I figure this is why it broke, I've watched a few hoonigan vids and they talked about that exact fact also stadium dirt truck racing.

Matt, you did an amazing job handling that monster truck considering it's your first time. I am super proud of you, and I'm sure you will be practicing with the other drivers, and you will get better and better, brother. Keep up the great work. The demolitia is behind you 100%. Monster jam holds events in Huntsville Alabama alot. I'd love to see you compete with Grave digger, El Toro Loco, MaxD, son uva digger, Blue thunder, zombie, and all those one of these days.
