I fully agree. Anyone who didn't follow "The Adventures of Jalen Hurts" in college - just don't know. Hurts has a "chip" on his shoulder the size of TEXAS!!! There's no quit in HIM!!! 💯🦅🦅🦅🎉🎉
I'll go so far as to say, this is a team game. Coaches included. I reckon with the right "team" everyone is forced to recognize, there's only one Jalen Hurts as well
I completely agree! JALEN HURTS!!! The Eagles' second year quarterback in the 2022 Superbowl became the first player in NFL history with 300 passing yards, 70 rushing yards and three touchdown runs in "ANY NFL GAME", REGULAR SEASON OR PLAYOFFS!!! Put some respect on that mans name!!!
@@timothypittman9681 there's a handful of QBs that still had success at the very late stages of their careers. Tom Brady was a good QB, I'm not denying that, but he played with HOFers and HOF level talent the vast majority of his career, including with the Bucs. Drew Brees is by far the better QB.
HURTS has only been limited by the 7 or 8 different offensive coordinator since college and still have success. His peak will be if and when he can get some consistency and more than one year in a decent offensive scheme.
Say That! Mahomes got The Best Coach & System from day one and: Mahomes sat behind Chiefs starter Alex Smith as a rookie in 2017. Smith mentored Mahomes while leading Kansas City to an AFC West title with the sixth-best scoring offense in the league. Smith made his third Pro Bowl THAT season before the team traded him to Washington to make way for Mahomes. 😮
I was a Hurts supporter back in 2021 when a massive chunk of the Eagles fanbase were doubters. I’ll stay a Hurts supporter. Dudes gonna be a top 5 this year easy.
Hurts' issue last year wasn't so much injury, as it was almost exclusively coaching/play calling! You need to have plays that put EVERYONE in the right places at the right time!
Jalen Hurts is a true winner and I Know he will keep Big " " Receipts on all the Haters " starting with the Negative reporters...... Gather around all haters... he'll be serving a big plate of Crow to all the Haters😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Much appreciate the quality content before camp. Alot of people have picked this team apart by now and feel down on them. Refreshing to see optimism, I think we have alot to be excited for. GO Birds 🦅
Even though it doesn’t matter, they left hurts out because he was injured, BUT he still did what he did while injured. That alone should put him in the list. The first ten games they were talking about him in the mvp race. He’ll rise above all this negativity though
Just let the season play out we don’t know how any of theses qbs going to be but every year always something about our eagles qb like play ball see who better them go birds 🦅
Need the Kelly green CJ Gardner Johnson shirt size XL! Be a cool give away ! Been a Thomas mott fan since the beginning! Love your content ! Fly eagles fly
Thomas, I've been an Eagles fan ever since I watched a football game lol, you are always my go-to for content. I really appreciate that and I love watching these videos. Keep up the great work dude. I personally have a Jalen Hurts jersey, Devonta Smith jersey, and a Carson Wentz jersey. I'm looking to add an AJ Brown jersey. Anyways, keep up the awesome content! ❤
@@weedasaurusrex analyst for the eagles am I wrong? Gives player updates , personal relationships with some of the players and Philly as a whole , and has inside info from time to time. Been watching him for years now and seems fitting. 🫡
How is that when only two out of the top ten has been to the Superbowl. This kid is on his way to being one of the best QB's out team has have. And if what is being said then it only can get better. Watch, and get the popcorn ready.
its rankings let it be they judging him on a year he was kept in the pocket because they wanted him to fully heal, looking for future. even still he was good. this year he should be better if not than sure so lets check in week 8
Reed is all we need at safety. He’s good, not every player needs to be a superstar. He does his job, has no ego, and plays for the team. He wasn’t the issue last year, linebackers ruined the whole defense
after week 11 when we beat the bills in OT and Hurts ran in the game winning TD he was MVP front runner, the fact that he isn't even considered a top 10 the next season is just disrespectful honestly
The Jalen Hurts QB ranking is such a disrespect. If one of the reason they were saying he was bad and is not in the top 10 was because he was playing injured then how the heck is Aaron Rodger, who is a fantastic QB, in the top 10 when he tore his ACL 4 plays into game 1 and did not play at all last season.
Nick’s gotta let Kellen coach and this will take time we all have to be patient. It might take more than year or two for Jalen’s pocket profession to read NFL defenses and will take time we don’t win big the first year we can keep Kellen for a bit longer because he’ll pick it up by the 2nd year he needs continuity in offenses play calling never really had in his career so far
I don't care where hurts is ranked as long as we win SBs. Where was Eli Manning ranked when he won 2 SBs? Nick Foles was considered a none starter when he helped us win one. Having a topped ranked QB doesn't mean multiple SBs. Asked Bills fans. Ask packers fans. Dan Marino is one of the best of all time and doesn't have a SB. Heck, Dak is ranked high every year and is at home watching the SB every year. Let Hurts be who is, F the rankings and just let him win games and SBs.
I read that ESPN article on top 10 QB's. I inferred based of of all the evaluation that they were talking specifically to last season to this season. IF you're gonna talk about Dak choking you have to talk about Allen chocking as well. HIs turnovers scream gunslinger
let me expand... Hurts is certainly a gamer. Moreso than anyone on that list, sans Jackson and Mahones. Cosell makes a point about his "inside" perspective about Hurts not being a full field reader. That may be true, and may be a little concerning knowing the amount of weapons he has the ability to get to in any given play. Hopefully, Moore brings it out in him, or simplifies it enough for him that it becomes a non issue. I think as a thrower of the ball, He's up there with any of them. He's demonstrated strength, touch, and deadly accuracy at times
forgot to mention hurts also got the #1 QB rating ever in a superbowl, outperformed every single QB whos ever won a SB in the most important game of the year and gets no credit for it because he lost off of some bs calls and a early fumble
Tyler Steen looked like crap last year in his limited showing so I don’t understand why people are thinking he’s got the inside track to start? He’s got a long way to go
Hey Thomas, maybe you can give another kellygreen Saquon or maybe a kelly green Slim Reaper (lol I have every color but that) help a twin named brother out 😁
I would never pick Josh Allen over Jalen. The only thing he has proved is he can force the ball to players and get a lot of passing yards as well as a lot of interceptions. He has had more interceptions than Jalen each year but no one cares for some reason and still hasn’t made it to the superbowl and they say Jalen isn’t good. Herbert hasn’t done anything meaningful as well as Rodgers in the last couple years. I would stick with Jalen over most of those QBs on that list
You can't hold Jalen Hurts accountable for how last season went with his injuries and bad offensive coordination from Brian Johnson. But yet they got Dak Prescott at 10, a man who not only didn't make it to the super bowl he hasn't not even made it to a NFC Championship and yet he in the top 10. That Bullshit. Fly Eagles Fly 🦅🦅🦅 NFC East Predictions 1. Philadelphia Eagles (15-2) 2. Washington Commanders (8-9) 3. Dallas Cowboys (7-10) 4. New York Giants (2-15)
I don’t buy the Hurts narratives. Too many times last year I watched people like baldy breakdown film of our offense showing how little help Jalen had schematically. Too many times he scanned the entire field to see nobody open due to incompetent play designs and badly timed screens. Does he have his limitations? Of course but I refuse to board the “Jalen was the problem” train. He wasn’t a problem for Shane 🤷🏽♂️
@jareds... I disagree. Did U catch the @thomasmott.. where he suggested(and I agree) Howie Roseman is building another Superbowl Winning Team specifically aimed at The 49er's and K.C. Saquon Barkley is our running game now. Hurts will have more energy and time between Barkley and the new K.Moore "motion" offense. If you thought the last two years were a ride - Buckle Up!!! E-A-G-L-E-S!!!! 24/7 Baby!!! 😉💯🦅🦅🦅🎉🎉
Cosell is so FOS, if we're not there and we don't know how can Cosell make that assumption based on film only? How about his prowess as a dual threat dictate the play calling, look at his stats in 2022, MVP candidate; noteworthy is how many games did Hurts not finish or the play calling changed because the Eagles were blowing people out by halftime? Additionally, his performance in the SB amidst some shoddy play calling (that 3rd and 2 play comes to mind), especially prior to that 60 yrd punt return!
So if you don’t play for a year like Rodger’s he’s automatically top 10. Jalen was a mvp candidate thru 11 games last year but can’t make top ten. In what world does that make sense. Burrow played like 3 games last year but is number 2 WTF!!!!
Thomas you're going to have to mention this. Dak beat up on bad teams last year. Couldn't beat the Bills or the Dolphins (similar teams we faced). They'll say Dolphins was luck. So they should say the same against the Lions game when the refs took back their 2pt conversion and made them run the play like 6x's. Dak is NOT better than Hurts and people seem to forget he put up these stats because they had a very easy schedule
If the top ten QB's were picked because of last season then how did Aron Rodgers get picked he on;y played like 3 downs that's ok Hurts and the Eagles are going to lite it up this year
All those qbs only 1 of them will have 12 wins this season. And that's mahomes who will be loosing to hurts in the SB . THIS YEAR. WE LOVE THE UNDERDOG STUFF
