You already saw in this episode how Bakugo is fighting with more battle intelligence, rather than just going all berserk, like we've seen before. Lots of characters go through lots of little changes like that throughout the series, and the show rarely calls attention to these little changes. It's like the way real people learn in real life, little by little, and one experience or lesson at a time. Noticing these little changes in behavior is one of my favorite things in this show. Shows a lot of attention to detail.
It's always been amazing to me just how fast Horikoshi (the mangaka) makes you change your opinion on Aizawa. When we're first introduced to him, we're like, who's this asshole who's singling out Deku? But by the time this episode hits, we're cheering him on with all our hearts, and seeing him get destroyed like this hurts.
I got to say... The big reason why I've gotten so addicted to the show isn't because of the plot or the characters but just because it's so much fun to watch.
Absolutely! The writing in this show is nothing to write home about, it's not particularly special. There's a couple of well written characters, a couple of well written plotlines but for the most part it's average. What really drives it home as such an enjoyable series is the art in the manga as well as the characters and moments it creates - it's fun, it's epic, it's interesting and both the ost and the japanese VAs are amazing.
Totally not commenting just for the algorithm but Nomu is terrifying dude 😂 Eraser head raising his head to stop Not-Mahito despite Nomu holding his head down was a true hero moment 💔
as someone who enjoys both jjk and mha i rly like how mahito and shigaraki are basically the same villain in different universes both having some sort of quirk relating to touch
The redhead that gets hard is Kirishima his personality is the workout bro that gives encouragement to everyone else at the gym. Overly Sarcastic rated him as an A class himbo (good looking, good hearted, dumb) there are RU-vid essays about him being the perfect example of nontoxic masculinity. because "a real man" does not lie or cheat, "a real man" does not disrespect others. "a real man" cries when he is sad and laughs when he is happy wearing his heart on his sleeve.
Yeah that second episode is intense. Also yeah, Tsu basically would've been killed if Eraser Head hadn't had the strength to look up. Against a foe as powerful as All Might no less. Not really a spoiler but I like from this point to the future you almost never see Tsu hesitate during battle ever again. The anime never goes into it but it's something I noticed about her, and I often attribute it to that moment where because she didn't move and if Eraser hadn't saved her, she would have died. Flat out killed. So In a lot of fights Tsu is often the first to react and I think that's cool.
Im glad that you recognized all might in his beefed up hero form saying its ok because I'm here but wasn't smiling. Weighs severely on the moment for sure.
One of the things you learn with MHA is that it's not just all about "Powerful" Quirks but how Quirks can be used. Mineta's Quirk SEEMS useless but as you just saw it has its uses.
21:30 to be fair, we rarely see bakugo without deku 😂 its just deku that brings it out in him. He can be calm (er) and think strategically,. . . Just not in front of deku 😅
When i tell you i was screaming when i first watched this part of the show 😂. My friend who was showing it to me was so confused. Like dude was getting BRUTALIZED
NEXT EPISODE is the DADDY of episode. Flexie, you about to be obsessed on how Great All Might is, How a kakashi Aizawa is, how cool shoto is, how underrated Bakugo is and you will fall in love with this first 3 season

The fandom may be toxic and cause so many people to hate on this anime and view it as cringe without even giving it a chance, but MHA will always be one of my favorites. It's iconic with such memorable characters and while some people complain about it being "Disney-esque" with the power of friendship stuff, I personally love that everyone has a part to play. They all want to be heroes and they aren't left out of big moments just because the focus may be on Deku's journey specifically.
