With all those adjustments I say let’s turn it into a mullet right now! You can really find your sweet spot in the geo numbers with a frame like that. Love the way Rocky Mountain puts the Canadian maple leaf on the paint work. You do good review videos, try and do more. I got my wife out riding with me more, on one of the many hardtails I bought watching too much hardtail party. She really enjoys riding so I got her the Juliana furtado. Yes we have a lot of mullet bikes in the garage, can’t help it, they are pretty fun. I will find a 29er I like one of these days.
Looking forward to seeing your ride review and impressions! I wonder how easy or difficult it is to use the reach adjustment feature. That sounds pretty usable if its easy enough to do.
Hey! Nice review! Love how you're just as detailed as any reviewer out there but still very grounded and neutral. And hope Steve's getting better - saw his Neuhaus HT review, I can't tell now whether it's a pre-diagnosis or post-diagnosis video; he's doing well. :) Also, looking forward from your reviews for bikes with smaller riders in mind - am not blessed vertically so I'd love to see more variety! Currently running the new Pivot Shadowcat in small, with a 636mm (I think) standover and it's really comfy yet fun. Mojo 4 also comes to mind! Happy riding and take care both!
Thanks! I've got a few reviews lined up so keep an eye out. It is so helpful to see reviews from riders who are near your height. The neuhaus video was recently filmed. Even though Steve's body battery still runs low, he has some good days, where there's a little less pain and you can see some life in his eyes again. Progress is slow but I think we're heading in a good direction.👍
I just bought a 2023 Rocky Instinct C30 for less than $3K delivered to my door. Didn't really need a bike, but could not pass. Crazy you like the cutting edge bikes and Steve keeps it as simple as he can w bikes. I know he rides and owns FS bikes too... he can't resist.
I'll post that on the final review! I still need to sling this up on the scale, but I have a hard time getting it on there without an extra set of hands.
Nice bike, we had quite many RM over the years in our fleet of bikes. We still have two (my son and daughter, both ride RM). They are great bikes, well made and sturdy.
