Alexis Torres huh, never thought about where the actual computer was in the Commodore 64 before. I see it now. So we are literally taking old concepts, spraying a new set of paint on it and saying it's a new concept. I guess more companies are taking to a liking to apple's business plan.

The reason you couldnt go on any sites is because you have to set it to the correct date. The certificate can't be verified, if the date is wrong.

I like the idea. It is like a Mini PC with integrated keyboard, or keybaord with integrated Mini PC. If it can be installed with WIndows and has Miracast, then I can take it to the couch and connect to my TV.

Make sure your system date , time and timezone are set up correctly. I've had the same errors happen on other OSs and that is why.

Android itself is wrong! It just can't utilise it's resources, if you take a device and install android on it, then trade it for any other mobile OS be IOS, Windows heck even symbyan will work better than android on that same device. Basically you either spend 900 on a freaking TOP of the line unnecessarily powerful smartphone or your experience will be at least sluggish. I mean, up untill last year I used to play AAA games and do 3D rendering on a computer with 8GB of RAM why exactly do a smartphone need 8GB of RAM? why exactly there's 8 cores on smartphones CPUs? I'll tell you why, because Android! And taht's only one reason why Android is BAD, I think it's the biggest one but hey that's only my opinion

VWestlife did a few videos on some actual x86 Keyboard PCs, there was an XP one that was a Commodore VIC Slim, and then a sandy bridge i3(available with i5) one called Cybernet ZPC-H6

I would be interested if you tried flashing it with a newer version of Android, Ubuntu, or Windows 10. If you can just load it with something else it could be a pretty useful computer for word processing or just basic surfing.

Imagine if you took the smallest rtx2080 laptop and took the screen off, and chopped everything that isn’t needed and put the main board inside of a large mechanical keyboard? You’d have an awesome gaming version. Online streamers could use it as their secondary pc for capture and chat without taking up any more room. If you built in a wireless transmitter and kept the battery you could go completely wireless and keep it on your lap and use it as a gaming htpc.

this is a little bit old, but this is supposed to be a mini tv. that first app you opened, sohutv, it can watch any movie or tv show. i dont know if it works overseas out of china, but i live in china (i use VPN cos yt is blocked) and we have the same thing, except in a actual tv, not a keyboard

Looks like Android 4 to me. edit: oof "The Rockchip RK3288 is an ARM architecture System on Chip (SoC) from Rockchip. It is the first SoC, in August 2014, that uses the ARM Cortex-A17 processor. It is a quad-core processor with a NEON coprocessor and hardware acceleration for video and 3D graphics. It is used in a number of Chromebooks and other low-power, low-performance devices." The Mali T764 is the quad core 600mhz variant of the T760, from October 2013 but hey, at least it seems they planned for it to be upgradable. you may be able to find a newer SOC module.

I'm sure you probably know that keyboard PCs have been around for some time, they're just not really made in large quantities or marketed towards domestic market consumers. But there are cheap keyboard PCs that do run Windows 10. Vwestlife reviewed one a while back, in fact I believe he's reviewed a few of them.

You should see if you can wipe the operating system and see if you can get windows on it. That would be cool in terms of a portable pc you could bring to your friends house, plug it into the TV and do stuff.

I finally got my pc put together and none of the usb, hdmi, audio, etc..ports on the motherboard are working. All the fans in the case and on the cpu cooler spin. I have changed the ram and changed the CMOS battery. I am clueless to what the problem is. Any help?

I mean is that weird if that is how most computers were in the 1980s? Look at Comodore, Atari, Apple II, TRS-80, Sinclair's for our British friends. Novel today but, the concept is actually very old.

It's like 80's and early 90's home computers (low-end Comodore Amigas and Atari ST for example). I would install a light-weight Linux distro on it and it would work as computer is supposed to work. Android and Windows are too heavy for it's specs I suppose.
