I'm going to get straight to the point. I love this project. They even lowered the price to $380 USD from $450+. The finish on the exterior is awesome and the overall design is really something you can stare out. Plus that all over PVD finish? I LOVE it. The Opus 1 definitely is a looker.
There were some clear cut machine marks on the interior if that matters to you, and I really felt that they should go back to the double mounting system as it's always a welcome addition to any board.

Been following this keyboard since it first went live in IC and it’s one of only a couple that I’ve been looking forward to ever since. Happy they recently lowered the price for all versions to $380 as well. Extremely high quality for that price, and one of the best looking boards I’ve ever seen at this price point. 👍

@@jooshuag Yes, $680 actually because they were overly ambitious on the pricing estimates initially as the designer wanted to make it as affordable as possible. Unfortunately as I understand it, they soon realized the actual costs would be a good amount higher than initially expected, and many people wanted them to run it through vendors, which unfortunately also caused the price to increase more. I still think it’s worth the price as the quality is clearly a step above almost anything else I’ve seen the last couple years, especially in that beautiful PVD case finish.

@alexotos This keyboard is an absolute d grade fail. I received my unit and there are machining marks all over the weight which can be seen in gold pvd coat with the naked eye on the weight. Dust flecks in the mirror finish on the rest of the case. Also marks on the inside mirror surface of the weight. Resonance said the manufacturer told them it was impossible to deliver a perfect finish. Vendors have offered refunds or partial credits to customers as all their units were comfirmed flawed. However, early supporters of the project on discord who purchased direct from Resonance Studios are now left in the lurch. Resonance has ghosted people and not offered any option such as partial or full refunds. They said they keyboard still works and nothing they can do about it, as the manufacurer is not offering them a solution. For a keyboard of this cost USD $690, this has been a disaster. So definitely caution to people buying direct rather than via vendors. Also people that bought from Kono which seems to be going under, may not even receive their flawed keyboards.

The golden ratio badge is perfect, which is what this prototype *almost* is. I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing board I've seen in a long time. I saw the renders for Nickel and Rose Gold plating and they are stunning, but I really hope they also have an option for regular Gold PVD. I hope nearLucid, Shoobs (the king of cursed fingerprinting) and other RU-vidrs review this board. I wonder if I should swap my future Hope75 S for this...
