With quarries, they get extremely deep so when you are fishing in the middle sometimes I’m sure there is a lottttt of open water below your bait. Also with these more untouched quarries, I’ve found the bass are willing to/ want the baits in a weird way. Bass will be mostly the same size, but sometimes when I hook a dink as I’m reeling it in I’ll have a monster hit it. I’ve caught multiple 6 pounders out of my local quarry in Michigan. You’re much better than I, with many more tactics, so if you target the monsters I’m sure you’ll get some. Tight lines!
Y'all need to get some cam straps. They are what all whitewater kayakers and rafters use. They are cheap, super durable, and super super easy to use. you can get them from Immersion Research or NRS. Some roofrack companies also sell them but the ones made by whitewater companies are so much better. Ratchet straps are just a pain in the ass and are confusing and take forever to rig up. Ratchet straps are also really bad for kayaks as you can get them too tight which can deform the plastic. I just figured it might help. Also I use my cam straps for like everything: setting up my hammock, making a dry line, I even used one as a sort of door stop in my dorm room. You should check them out. I always carry a ton of them in different sizes in my car because they can be used for anything. I currently have 4 of both 10ft and 20ft straps and there is nothing that I can't tie down or fix with that.

Nigel Scully a mystery tackle box comes every month and has unique baits inside this doesn’t come every month and the baits inside are all googan baits and it tells you which ones you got on the front. The only thing similar is that its a box that has baits. The mondo kit is not a subscription service.

For those who don’t use ratchet straps daily here’s a quick tip. Keep a decent sized wrench on you. If you can’t open it all the way to pop it loose cause someone rigged up horribly you can use the wrench to pop it (inside lever thing) regardless of how much pressure is on it. A lot easier to show someone but you can probably figure it out
This is a long shot but I've got to try! It is 2 days before my husband Dominic's birthday. He's a HUGE fan! Watches the #GooganSquad CONSTANTLY! Especially #AlexPeric and #JonB He watches with our 6 year old daughter and our one year old son, it's their FAVORITE thing to do when they're not actually fishing! Well..my amazing husband went to go fishing for his birthday only to realize someone had stolen his entire fishing bag... Some things from childhood handed down from the men in his life most valued, that have since passed. All things his late father gave him, uncles, grandpa..gone. Along with a vast collection of your baits he was so proud of. His heart is shattered. And there's nothing I can do to mend it. My 6 year old did her best handing him her pink bag with all her pink and rainbow sparkly baits but I think we all know as precious as that is, a real fisherman like my husband deserves the best! So close to the holidays we can't afford to replace his things. Here's to hoping you guys could help out a very big fan family!

So, after watching Mike's last video I bought a Googan Squad Mondo Kit from Academy Sports. I'd be more excited to get it if I could still fish in my area, it's getting to where the fish aren't biting.
