@@azruldanish If you needed much longer than that then there is a problem. Unaffected gens that take 4 mins (without the extra sec) is a 20 mins match. With regression/attacking survivors that can go up to 30 mins. With 90 sec gens in unaffected matches can go 7 mins 30 secs without regression. If the killer goes AFK with no perks, or addons. If you are chasing, slugging, hooking, etc them the match could very well go up to 10-16 mins, and if you have regression or slow down make that 15-30 mins. No one needs 30 mins to win if they are playing well with a non meme build (like T-1 myers on haddonfield. What they realistically should I’ve did was buff/give basekits QOL changes, balanced out maps at least a little bit, change a few perks around, and that’s it. Along with bringing nurse out of cartoon land by slicing and dicing ranged addons, making her fatigue after a stun like she used to do, and making her second blink not count as a basic AT LEAST. But no instead of that, they punish killers more for using their abilities (faster recovery using the Basic Attacks, and making Normal Pallet Breaks faster) making killers just fall onto basic attacking players meanwhile nurse blink attack still counts as a basic ffs… I see more nurses w crazy builds that walk you down than ever. The era of just being a skilled killer going far is just kinda in the water dr0wning. It’s sad. But I guess at least now I get compliments as survivor for doing well. But what really changed?
@@azruldanish As far as dead hard. The main complaint about it STILL EXIST. Killers moaned about having to “play around a perk” (something survivors often do but they forget that I guess. Even addons need to be played around but again the memory loss when it’s survivors I guess?). You still gotta bait out DH, and if you fail to do so it still results in distance, in fact more distance than the old DH gave. So they just changed DH for what reason now? So you can use that without endurance perks? But the perk still is the same thing killers complained about it being… The only thing is newer players who weren’t good with the perk anyway don’t use it at the same rates. The update kinda gave redundant. Especially with the MoM change that was never needed lmao.
If u think games are going 20 minutes your not seeing how the game is at high level..gens routinely go all done in under 7 minutes even with proper pressure efficient survivors destroy that time table..and as a killer u haft to pressure and buy time if your going for hooks not kills. Idw to haft to tunnel a guy out at all. The game needs more killer balance. Survivor is so easy I can run no perks and win at against spirit lol
@@maramba32 The Devs really hit their head when they were kids. Legión is still a problem with this perk as when I play solo queue everybody gets hit. I hid myself in a locker but I'm the first one the killer always find.
Thana is garbage now lol. Even for legion maybe not as bad for plague. But against Thana Leg, 1 person heals and the slowdown is virtually gone. Plague same deal, but it's usually bad if only one person cleanses so ig it's solid on her, but yeah funny that the Devs thought the perk was remotely good after this change.
@@rileysullivan4123 I know but in solo queue bhvr decides that the killer should tunnel me and pair me with teammates to be as much selfish and stupid as possible. Legion always gets the 5th hit when I play solo
Yeah, literally and impossible number. The obsession is not affected, making it 33% on the people who are already dead, and even then you need obsession changing perks.
@@baum_1386 LMAO i feel bad for y'all. Don't worry mate i run a fun build for doctor so if u ever see me in a match, you're gonna have the chase of your life lol.
Gift of Pain and Thanataphobia don’t work st the same time, but they can still be good together since every time your injure a survivor they get a repair penalty and if you hook them they get the same effect. As long as your chases end in a down and hook on the targeted person, these perks work really well!
Dying light and pentimento are both situational perks dying light only gets 33% once everyone but the obsession dies and pentimento relies on the survivors having dementia plu thana got nurfed into the ground
@@themr_wilsonyes every perk in dbd is situational but if you take a look a dbd’s meta/ common perks you will notice that it’s perks that normally are very consistent like old dead hard, corrupt intervention, pain res ect. So when you have a perk combo like the one in this video where you ‘CaUse MaxImum paIn to SurvIvers’ in reality would only be this bad for the vary last survivor who also lacks object permanence
Dying Light does not reduce speed by 33%.... It increases the obsession's healing speed by 33% and gives you a 3% reduction to actions on all survivors for every hooked survivor.
Just had a Nurse that ran a similar build, tunneled me, and DC'd when she didn't manage to kill anyone. It hurt my Nurse main heart but... yeah. Then the match before that a Pinhead ran a similar build as well (tunneled again) and all you heard across the map was Hexes being cleansed. Some matches are crazy lolol
@@MyNameIsT.m. u cant have 11 stacks cuz when the Obsession gets hooked u wont get a Stack only by non Obsessions so 9 stacks 9 Times 3 is 27 so max 27% slowdown
@@wenny385 You can get 11 stacks. 1) 2 hooks every survivor (except obsession) 2) Change your obsession mid-game (Nemesis, Furtive chase, getting ds'ed, For the people, etc...) 3) 3 hooks your old obsession. 4) Kill everyone other than your new obsession. There, you got it, 11 stacks.
@@MyNameIsT.m. 5) Lose 3 Thanatophobia stacks and also Dying Light because the obsession is unaffected by it. Idk how this guy tested this in the video because what he described is clearly not possible.
If you ever wanna avoid having to deal with gen slowdown there's a wonderful perk called Hyperfocus which does the majority of the gen progress through Great Skill checks, which ignore slowdown amounts. Same principle as why Autodidact counters any healing slowdown perks
