This kitten appears muscular because of a ruptured airway, making it hard to walk. 

I personally had this condition when my trachea was accidentally punctured by the breathing tube used during general anesthesia during an operation room mishap a few years ago. The chances of that happening is like 1 in 10 million. At least, that's what I was told.
