Ahti is one of the best bang for buck knife companies..if you like Finnish/Sami style knives..anyone who doesn’t is a weirdo..j/k..but really though..you are one of the few people that make beautiful feather sticks..on RU-vid..most people that love knives..don’t practice..you definitely do good sir..and it’s easy to tell..anyway..another beautiful knife..

I had bought a Ahti Tikka about 10 years ago when I lived in Frankfurt. It was a great little blade, affordable and very functionable for it's cost. I use it even today in my blackpowder kit for cutting patches and other smaller chores. Great little blade.

Ahti tikka is a fantastic puukko. One of my absolute favorite neck knives! Well in general Ahti is one of the best puukko companies in Finland. Thanx for watching!

I dig your videos. Ahti knives are epic I own several. I ordered two Tikka but don't tell my Helle Nying. As Nying approaches the age of 40 she becomes more jealous. Don't call her Nyling! She has picked at whale bones on Svalbard! We miss the northern lights and the long shadows. My Ahti Korpi Is a jewel and a solid tool. The Ahti sheaths are excellent. The Tikka is pure puukko from master craftsmen. I look forward to mine.

Yeah, Ahti makes awesome knives. Great Qpr Puukkos. One of the bests with eräpuu, woodsknife, kauhavan puukkopaja etc. Thanx for watching, have a great day my friend!🌲🔪🌲

This is a very awesome little knife, I have 5 in from Strongmen out of Karashoke . Sorry if my spelling is wrong, I also have a KS 8 old Fashion that is just a very robust camping knife. The 5 in knife is good for fishing and my weekend knife. Thank you for your review I just found your channel. Nice!

Oh yeah those are nice knives! I’ve tested many times the ks8, as my Friend has it in the village. A classic. Also the 5 looks to be very usefull blade indeed. Thanx for watching, and have a great day!

I have recently bought Ahti Metsa 95 carbon, great knife, razor sharp, perfect blade for carving and whittling. It should endure some light batoning. Very neatly made with elegant sheath (great retention) and also very light.

That Metsä 95 Looks like a great knife also! And with a good price. Thanx for watching!

Amazing knives for the price, you would have to pay much much more to get anything better quality wise. I have the Korpi and my heart warms up every time i hold it in my hand, definitely not my last Ahti knife.

Yeah, quality price ratios like this warms up my heart also! This was my first Ahti Puukko, but have seriously been eyeing on few models. Will get those sooner or later. Like you said really hard to imagine knives at this price point with better quality. Thanx for watching!

I was eyeing that exact knife at Lamnia! But the shipping is kind of expensive and takes so long to Canada.... Great little puukko. Great review. Thanks for sharing!

Using it now many days as my edc belt knife. And liking it a lot. So damn lightweight, yet capable. Thought the handle is going to be too thick, but on the contrary just right. And the price is fantastic for so much quality. As seems to be many of Ahti knives (though the handles seems to be rather thick with many of them). Have great day there in beautiful Canada! And thanx for watching!

Reminds me of a fancy Mora sloyd knife that I used for carving a while back. Nicer handle and sheath. I have a Kellam Wolverine that I think was sourced from Ahti that is very nice, too. Maybe I’ll pickup one of these, if I can find one.

I REALLY Like it. Just fits so nicely on the hand. And a lovely Grind too. Might actually get the curly birch version also. Thanx for watching, have a great day!🌲🔪🌲

Some Puukko knives from all 3 Nordic countries in Scandinavia are sensitive to use for battening. It is hard to tell which one you can use for light battening and which can take hardly any of it. I prefer to the models with leather or birchbark as handle material because how they are made.

Yes, some puukkos I wouldnt baton almost at all. On another hand some Puukkos have endured years of heavy use. Like my old Marttiini vuolu that I bought 95. Still ok and batoned hard that for years during mamy trips. Could be that it was just well built. Birchbark is great material. Thanx for watching!

I think birchbark and leather are also beautiful. I wonder if the leather stacked handles are not solid enough. I only say this bc I have seen many break while batoning. Everything from puukko’s to the 1940’s USMC knife my father gave me. That knife wasn’t very good at anything. Except, maybe, combat…but, thankfully I never needed it for that.
