When I first heard about Mama Uganda, the world's most fertile woman who has given birth to 44 kids - I immediately booked a flight to visit her and find out how she's able to raise them in a small Ugandan village.
After spending 24 hours plugged into her life, with all of her kids inside -- I have to admit that her story is a sad one. Forced into marriage at 12 years old, she had her first set of quintuplets at 13, and then gave birth on 16 more occasions (to quintuplets, triplets, and twins) -- before her 40th birthday. Even crazier, she raises ALL of them as a single mother (her ex-husband abused and abandoned her.)
But Mama Uganda is a warrior, a superhuman and a true African legend who is one of the most inspiring people I've ever met.

EXACTLY he took food to make the video, but when he gets paid for this video how much will he support her with!!? I hate how these people go to Africa and make money off of innocent people then release it and makes thousands thousands and not support. Buy u never see them go to Europe, Spain,Greece ect. let's stop putting a Western spin on everything. She was not sex trafficked, did she say she was raped? and she was not forced to give birth. A 12yo in their society may not be the same as a 12yo in the US whose parents has done everything for them sine the time they were born and who barely know how to boil a pot of water. Their society and culture is far different from the West. We don't get to apply our standard to the rest of the world. That's called colonization.

It absolutely breaks my heart to hear about child marriage. 12 years old is such a tender and precious age. Nothing but the utmost respect for Mama Uganda. She’s being an excellent mother to her children. She didn’t run away, abandon them, or marry them off. I know it’s difficult, it’s difficult to raise any amount of children. I pray that Mama and all her children are happy.

@@irenedavo3768 Yes, it's been practiced in my place, marrying off a female daughter at early age, sometimes to an old rich man due to liberty. During child birth some girls develop vesicovaginal fistular (VVF), where they loose ability to control urine flow, at the end, the husband's ended up divorcing them and taking them back to their parents. But with much awareness and girl child education it's reducing now.

@vinjulieann1 actually, no, not fully at the time i commented, so thank you. anyway, what’s done is done. and i wrote something on another comment which i am copying and pasting here, since i feel the basic points still apply. TLDR is that i do feel more empathy than i did at the start of the video even though i had already heard of this woman previously, and i do still take some of her story with a grain of salt (aka some doubt, such as the actual number of children), but i understand why she wasn’t originally educated on/allowed/given/using and bc methods. my copy and pasted part: just because she produces/releases many eggs does not mean they must be fertilized! this is where the story with that loses me. it’s probably partially the healthcare system there to blame claiming she’d die if she didn’t reproduce/give birth. that’s entirely bullshit. anyway, besides birth control and abstinence, there’s such a thing as a hysterectomy. also plenty of women go their whole lives having many many even heavy periods (aka releasing eggs) and don’t have a child to count for every cycle. i understand why her chance of multiples would be higher due to this condition. i do not understand how it extrapolates out to giving birth at least 16 times (except for her husband’s role). also, not that i’m advocating for it, but plenty of women in similar situations perform abortions on themselves. some women have been so desperate as to give birth and then let the baby die or even kill the baby just to not have them grow up in whatever insane conditions. so. idk. i just feel like something could have been done or different. but what’s done is done and i understand that a child bride does not have much say in the matter. however i also don’t 100% believe the numbers of children she’s touting (and exactly 5 sets of each - quintuplets, triplets - really?). no one has FIVE SETS of naturally born quintuplets plus more! and then lives this quietly/obscurely at that? i just don’t buy it. i’m not saying it’s 100% out of the question or untrue but it is hard to believe hook, line and sinker.

Unfortunately he brought Regan's game room with his PlayStation, phone and TV to the attention of the public. Since then it has all been stolen. He told us that he was earning $5 - $8 a day. He works with bricks/buildings and earns 10k shillings a day- it costs him 5k to bring a video to YT.

“A child is never a mistake”! How true, and how admirable of Mama Uganda to say so. What an inspiring woman. All the children are happy because they know they are loved. It’s sad that she’s still struggling - yet with a smile - to sustain her family. It’s wonderful that you brought her provisions. I hope her kids will get some sort of scholarship so they can finish their education.

Yeah but 44 children by ONE mother is a mistake in a world of overpopulation. I can’t even take people who have more than 3 children. They are taking my privilege of having even ONE child. Cause I care for the world. You Can’t just push 44 children out of your VV in a world where we don’t even know if our children have a good life till they’re old ?? And these 44 kids will make more kids. Multiply this. And all that by only one living being.

The children rely on mom's job so far for tuition. The schools were letting her make tuition payments but she can never catch up. It costs about $54 per child per term. 22 are still of school age and Regan's last video his higher education class needs a minimum of $200 deposit for tuition. Plus he needs school books and supplies. He was earning $5 - $8 daily with his PlayStation but that got stolen along with the TV and his phone. He earns 10k shillings working his construction/bricks job. It costs him 5k just for internet to go on RU-vid.

It absolutely breaks my heart. And after spending her entire youth giving life to these beautiful children, her husband abandoned her? Not only did he MARRY A CHILD, and forced her to live an unimaginable life, but then he left her? It’s incomprehensibly wicked. I can’t believe there is no law against this.
