Honest question for you @livefreeandtoolon Assuming it has the acclaimed accuracy, I have zero questions about the functionality. I especially like the the bilateral laser and room planning mods. As a finish carpenter I can really see the usefulness of those features in particular. My question is, how do you feel about it's durability? It looks pretty which doesn't necessarily give me the vibe that it can stand up to the rigorous use in often dirty/dusty environments like my bosch laser measure or crossline laser can. Honestly, it kind of looks like something that wouldn't survive a single drop from counter height. Have you had any drops after owning it for a while? Did it hold up? LMK Thanks, brotha.
I think you need to look at the build material, this is a robust hard plastic, it doesn't have rubber over molding. I am not sure this is an in field craft worker tool, however if you take care of it, it will serve you well.
