Its a fun gimmick to bring out when youre having a party, sure, but $500? Naaaah, rather put that cash towards something that gives more value for the money.

Be careful pointing the camera at these lasers, you can burn the CMOS out and end up with little dots when you film.

Of course. The lasercube has a mode to avoid a certain area so i just stopped it from shining into the sensor.

i think the "socket thing" that needs to be plugged in is where you can add an emergency stop button. but if you don't have one, you can just bridge it with the included plug-thingy
