Absolutely beautiful house…but NEVER buy a house in the PNW with a flat roof! You’re asking for a lot of heartache! Especially near trees with lots of leaves. Our home looked very much like this one, 6,000 square feet with a FLAT roof. It had 15 drains on the roof to catch and get rid of pooling water. BUT the drains, even with filters inside would be a catch basin for the leaves causing puddling problems on the roof. I LOVED this house and its location on a bluff overlooking the bay. Needless to say…we had the pooling problems fixed, but sold the house (in 3 days!…that’s how beautiful it was) and moved to another island with a normal roof. No more flat roofs for us!
