Warrington Transporter Bridge over the River Mersey is one of only a handful of large transporter bridges ever built, and one of even fewer still remaining around the world. Closed since the 1960s, today it stands as a monument to the town's industrial past, and in need of support and recognition.
We'll also take a look at what remains of the Runcorn-Widnes Transporter Bridge, the largest transporter bridge ever built of its type.
