I think both this 6:27 and this 7:27 are throwing animations because that is also something T.Rex is supposed to be able to do, just yeet smaller playables, I'd imagine the first one is throwing something on the ground in front of it and the other is throwing something further away.
Started getting the isle on my youtube recommended and i ended u buying the game , i have about 30 hrs on it so far and i am loving it! Ive noticed a lot of new players every time i join a server so hopefully the devs see this new influx and it makes them want to push more content out faster!
@@ucjgaming do you have any suggestions for optimization in game ? I have a 3060 ti, so not a bad graphics card I can run pretty much all games on max settings (rust, dayz) and get 80-120 fps but fir some reason on this game it struggles at getting 60 (night time is the worst getting as low as 30 fps)
@@insomniasfinest4847 I mean Evrima is a heavier game comparing to those two you mentioned, but it's also badly optimized. I have a 3070 and it used to run just fine, and now I get 40 FPS if lucky. But then I also play day z without any issues and even GTA v and warzone
@@ucjgaming hmmm I guess I'll just have to fiddle with my settings. I just don't want to dumb it down too much , I love how beautiful the game is and want to keep it that way for the most part
@@insomniasfinest4847 Yeah, it is weird. I usually run everything on max, but have recently in hord test only turned stuff down by one. But that's the Isle lol It's all weird
the ptera animation looks like what herons do to attract fish in shallow waters. i think its goung to be a way to get smaller fish without having to fly over the water
when i saw that pt doing that animation, i instantly thought of that birds shielding with their wing to create a shadow in the water. Fish think shadows are safe spaces in water. It's a hunting stragegy
I think this (together with austro animation) is a good showcase of new fishing mechanic that is going to be implemented for future piscivores like bary and sucho.
We got confirmation from Don that the human structure area is in between NE and E at that little coastal pond spot. Excited for it Oh and there is an underground Pipe system under the docks that small dinos can enter.
server can only handle 100 players. You will NEVER find another player in an area that is not a hot spot. Servers would need to hold at least 300 players if you ever expect to find people outside of major hot spot zones.
@@kenshinhimura9387 Well , there are unofficial server with 140 players and even 160 and they run fine. Not to mention hord test is 120 - 140 slots now and runs fine. As for hot spots they just need to fix that themselves as they mess that part up on their own
That one shitting animation of the pteranodon, is actually something that birds do, to catch fish. The create a cool shadow spot that fish like and eventually when the time is ripe, the strike! So maybe another way to catch fish? But most birds that do this have tall legs so they can stand in shallow water so I wonder how that would work.
They also sometimes do this on land for displays or catching bugs and other very small creatures. Could also be some form of protection for whatever is under the wings, but that seems like a stretch, since wings are the most important and fragile part of any primarily flying animal (i say "primarily" as to not include non flying beetles), so using them as a defensive tool like that would be strange and kind of dumb
Honestly this seems super fun, I love how in depth they’re getting almost like Ark? I’d honestly play as a human now if we get this much depth in our gameplay.
I never really thought about this until now, but watching reaction videos of you reading the dev blocks for the first time (to capture your "realtime" reaction) would be pretty cool. But the way you do it now (quick summary of it and only focusing on things you're interested in) is also fine. I just love the "FIRST TIME REACTION" kind of videos a lot in general
The animation where PT looks like it’s dropping fat one, could actually be it watching prey from up in a tree or something, maybe it could have a “zoom in” mechanic, while in this state, which well help you spot smaller creatures.
the t-rex headbutt thing you were talking about in the second clip of the rex animations i thought was to be a thrash, because its mouth is slightly open and it looks like its trying to get something out of something like organs
Yep, that's great news. By the way, that Pter animation where he raises his wings and lowers his head is an alternative way of fishing, literally. In the same way, some species of herons and other birds are done in modern times, so now you don't have to suffer in order to stay at the right distance from the water in flight. That 3 Rex animation is literally his head attack, if you look at Rex's concept art, there you can see how he uses the same attack to stun Giga. By the way, when Panch was asked whether the work on Austro is underway, he answered that he could not say exactly, or something like that, despite the fact that before that he answered the same question about the gyga directly in the negative, so maybe he is not so far from completion.. you just need to wait for 3 years
@@user-uy1jd8sb8w Yeah that could be cool. Would also help show predators what Dino they should choose to fight. Could also make it that better diet, makes better skin brightness but better over all health, and the reward could be more food from them. And the opposite for bad diets
Imagine playing as a human and hiding under a car while being chased by a Rex, only for it to flip the car over. That kind of gameplay would be so cool!
@@AKANEXELITEX Event? You mean like a live stream? If so then this week at some point, and hord testing unless the update actually comes out then in my server
I cant wait for humans for two big reasons . One is to test my survival skills vs thinking Dinos. Two I want to be the humans living nightmare or cute companion depending on how work went XD .
half slovak, that really jumped out at me, im slovak living in the uk so i definitely see what you mean by "brutal" looking buildings, for me it has the oppostive effect though, its like nostalgia haha
@@kikagold2336 Well hello there fellow 🇸🇰 I'm glad it brought some joy your way! And what part of Slovakia did you come from? If you don't mind me asking ofc 😊
Always said the game is Jurassic Park world without the control of hollywood or the big wigs. THE PEOPLE- The ISLE DEVS- have taken control. I love it.
I am a massive austro fan, I love the concept of a semi aquatic raptor/small duck and I'm not really a BIG carnivore player. I do love playing sauropods ect big herbis are fun and I do hope that it can swim around at the same level of suchomimus and maybe some sort of latch but not fully climb so it doesn't make hera not unique. A bit like PT but I do love all the structures, I think the devs have a super super promising headway right now!
for pt there it birds that like put there wings out in make it look like theres shade or cover for fish then they eat them so i think thats what there doing for pt
@@irimach.384 Probably because most people are playing the hord testing branch at the moment until the update comes out. Also try going to hot spots as there will be more players there, depending on the Dino you play
So, im very new to the isle, and im confused by that peacock looking herbivore dino, as it doesnt have growth, it just spawns in fully grown. Its nice for just hanging out but past that theres nothing really to do with that dino, it just jumps really high and seems like thats it. Am i missing something? Is it bugged? I cant tell.
@@jc_art_ nah, that is literally it 😅 in hord testing they have now added a growth for it but that will be available of course once the next update comes. But apart from that Hypsi unfortunately is just there to mess around with, not much to it
@@ucjgaming that really sucks. Its easily the most visually interesting and unique dino in the game so far, and can do nothing but jump high. Huge missed opportunity on their part
@@ucjgaming it could be really anything. I dont see why theres a mentality of 'only big dinos can be interesting'. Its clearly based on modern birds, but lacks wings, so it jumps high. But what if it had a reason to jump high, like access to food on top of trees, building nests on high rocks, etc, being a very land mobile creature with an emphasis on gaining highground. The other highground dinos are pretty bad when not in the high ground (PT and Herrera), so you are forced to spend most of your time in said high ground, but this fast moving small herbivore could more use it as protection and safety than a means to an attack, and still has the ability to escape if need be. Thats just one of many possible things you could do with this. Not everything has to be about who can win in the big colloseum battle royale. If it was, then the game would only have carnivores as an option.
@@jc_art_ I mean every Dino has a unique way to play, you just need to play them and find out, it isn't all chomping down and bullying ya know. And who knows about what Hypsi will bring but most people don't really enjoy playing hyspi because of its size, the constant grass view whilst playing, if you get my point. Even if they added more to Hypsi it won't be something that would be played often as simply there are just more popular playables
you have to select the horde test to play diablo. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. The horde test is filled with hackers. You will just die constantly by people with infinite stamina, and esp so they always know your location no matter how many bushes you hide behind.
Real Birds do that to make shadow, fish like that and swim under the wings, would be cool if you can fish that way but way more dangeros, but if it would work in the ocean, or for other things to attrakt craps or something like that would be a nice thing.. I everytime hear Ptera is shit because of stam, in my eyes its a skill issue if you have any problems with stam.. Night vision is a other thing thats realy shit.. But for me it is still the most relaxing and easyest thing to play on The Isle..
@@ZacharyHolcomb-xt1bnI understand your point but you also need to love forward 🫴 The Isle has given us plenty of great times, both in Legacy and Evrima. Yes I know it's been a tough few years, I have made plenty of complaint videos on it myself, but this does look promising so I'm trying to look forward and not back, but ultimately we will just have to wait and see ay
