the fact that the song says ‘this love came back to me’ and the song ‘this love’ literally came back to her bc she owns it just gives the song such a deeper meaning
As a new Swiftie since Folklore, I'm still getting familiar with 1989 tracks and honestly, Taylor knew what she was doing with this release. Praying for Clean (Piano Version)(Taylor's Version).
@@hunniii2356 Yeah, I know, I even watched it, but still - it was REALLY underrated and it's a little less underrated now or at least more people in the fandom are talking about it
I literally cried listening to this love (Taylor’s Version) already ❤️ it’s such a beautiful and emotional song. Her voice sounds so mature and it makes this love even better. Thanks for reviewing this one, it’s okay to cry ❤️
Omg her vocals are literally in my ear balls I‘m so in love !! Also sorry not sorry but all of her re-recordings (TV) are hitting harder than the original as it should 🥲 Also you look cute today ** triangle sound** you‘re so gorgeous i can‘t say anything to your face cause look at your face 🥰
I love how in (Taylor's Version) of this love (and a lot of other rerecorded songs of hers actually) I can finally HEAR all the instruments in their complexity that used to be so in unison/overshadowed by the rest of the production and vocals... And I love how she's enunciating those filler words she used to cut off or not say as clearly, but that always were a part of the official lyrics.
i DEFINITELY agree on the enunciating! there are so many times, on this album in particular where i'm like 'wait what did she say' and all the rerecordings have been much clearer
Girl, I feel you. This Love is one of my faves from 1989 and it also means a lot to me and I've been always so upset that it was sooo underrated and now it gets the respect and the recognition she deserves. Literally, I started bawling my eyes out after she started singing and I couldn't stop even after the song ended. This song is soooo relevant for me too now and I hope that from now on I can listen to it from a different (a happier) perspective, because last time I was so heartbroken when I was listening to this on repeat.🥺🥰
Yeah, I remember that there was a time where people would say that its a skipable song and I was shocked at their behaviour.. Really glad that it is finally getting the attention that it always had deserved ❤🙌🏻
It amazes me when people call it a skip cuz I'm like seriously the last three songs on the album are the best three songs on the album sonically and lyrically
I feel like 1989 HAS to be next but I feel like after she released Wildest Dreams and we got Red TV, who knows. So many possibilites. Right now my brain is here (and clinging to life): Option 1: 1989 is next and could be released on fri, may 13th. Option 2: we get a double drop with 1989 and Speak Now (since we got merch from both at the same time) Option 3: because she wrote This Love by herself, it may be an easter egg for her releasing Speak Now TV (since she wrote that by herself.) Option 4: she knows we are consumed with 1989 vs Speak Now, she will drop Debut Option 5: she called the merch "The Old Taylor", maybe she will drop all 3. maybe its a Rep egg and we'll get all 4 in December of 2022. Option 6: she got all her masters back and there won't be rerecords or we get them anyway I've been a swiftie for a year, this is all too much, respect for the long time fans. how are you still alive after years of theories!
She’ll drop it in June because I bet more songs from this album will be on the sounds track for The Summer I Turned Pretty Series! This album is perfect for the show/book.
Since 2014 i have soooo much love and respect for this song! This versioooooooon is sooooooooo dreamy and nostalgic at the same time! Cant wait for 1989 TV it will break all records! ❤️ love you caitlin 😊❤️
this love is my 2nd fav song off of 1989 and the original don't get a lot of love but now it has all the love. edited : i remember people skiping this song in the original and i always wanted to speak up and say if you listen to it, its a great song.
I am curious to know what her tour will look like and what will even be the setlist. She never got to tour Lover, and since the shutdown she's released Folklore, Evermore, Fearless TV, Red TV, and soon 1989 TV. Like she will just need a whole 3 day-festival in each city at this point.
i was curious about your reaction, tears or not its still appreciated ever since i heard 1989 i never skipped this song (okay its only like half year by now) ... its sooo good ...
i like it when u cry while listening to a ballad song and it's like i can feel what u feel too.. cant wait for the next 1989 related reaction (or speak now).. love ya
I think Speak Now (Taylor's Version) will be the next re-recording that Taylor will be releasing because, as you can see, she is giving us and releasing different clues and merch from different eras, which can be a hint or reference to the lyrics "Drop everything now".
I really enjoyed listening to this it's a beautiful song I just hope that next Friday the 13th Taylor will announce the album. I want to hear Shake It Off, Bad Blood, and Welcome To New York (Taylor's Version)
We got a take my hand level cry out again and i love it (tho it can be argued that it originated frm the TS reactions so like) This was a beautiful reaction thanks ❤️💙
Im calling it now, shes doing it again. Hyping up 1989 and release the other album like what happened to wildest dream then she released red. Before im team #1989TVwillcomeoutfirstbeforespeaknow but now im team #speaknowwillcomeoutfirstbefore1989
i’m having a mandela effect w this song. according to the lyric video the lyric is “lantern, burning flickered in the night for only you” but i’ve always heard “ flickered IN MY MIND” send help
People say that in the lyrics video there is a transition of some color filters: a blue one, a purple one and a green one (in that specific order); maybe she's telling us the order of the next albums: 1989 (TV), Speak Now (TV) and Debut (TV) I mean imagine Reputation (TV) as her last rerecording album OMG 💥💥💥
Now I'm crying, balling on a Friday morning. DAMN. I lost my bf suddenly last year. This song describes my life perfectly right now! I want him to come back from the dead...but I can't. I know I need to eventually move on. ONLY TAYLOR CAN DO THIS!!! #RIPJAY I LOVE YOU FOREVER ❣❣❣❣ I'll have this on repeat all weekend now!!!
@@caitlinmariereacts Only fly in the ointment is the court case re "Shake It Off", apparently that in August now: she's got rid of one case, one to go. btw she cannot start working on Reputation until November 2022 (5 years after release). I think she has already re-recorded BOTH "1989" and "Speak Now" hence the merch drop. HOWEVER as Ashley pointed out they are OLD style IP so has she got the rights now to use them, they aren't marked TV in any way shape or form and are they just old merch she has "bought" to sell off? Lots of questions no real answers. EDIT Should of course be Ally (Sheehan) not Ashley.
this song is the perfect embodiment of "right person wrong time" but this love came back to her in the end because they were meant to be. it's so beautiful omg
Nailed the bridge! the ONLY VERSION! Lovely. I think about the bridge as HER coming back to what she needs. The masters. She said goodbye to them, it nearly killed her, she fell to her knees, but you run to what you need. Here she is….owning her masters! Lovely lovely lovey song and reaction.
No because This Love & Clean are also my favs off 1989!! This version is superior. Also reminder that she might drop Bad Blood (TV) since it’s gonna be featured in “Super-Pets” in late July.
