RJ Priti kamal, an excellent presentation on Great poet / lyricist Raja Mehdi Ali Khan Sahab. Raja Mehdi Ali khan Sahab and Music composer Madan Mohan Sahab was the best combination of Hindi Film Industry. Both these great legends gave many immortal songs to Hindi Film Industry which even today look.fresh. Both these great legends are not in this world today. My tributes to both these great legends. Very nice presentation and research. I was very impressed when you mentioned Raja Mehdi Ali Khan's contribution to the humor and satire (Tanz-o-Mazah) of Urdu literature. Not many people know or remember his monthly column in Shama magazine. He used to write a column entitled 'Urdu Shyaron ke Mehboob Mashghale' that was filled with humor and satire. For one of the adeebs, he wrote that his mehboob mashghala is to "contest in an election and after getting only 3 votes, tell his wife that two votes are accounted for (yours and mine) and they should find the third person and embrace him." This was in reference to that adeeb's losing badly in the general election. Nice piece of satire!

Behad umdaa....well, my own father, a Muslim from Allahbad, was posted in Lahore being from Indian Information Services before 1947. He resigned from his job, left the newly formed Pakistan where he could have risen to the top position being a UG & PG from Allahbad University along with the favourite student of Raghupati Sahai Firaq Sahab but he returned to India. Neither my mother nor three of his children who were born after his return to India in 1950 ever complained for his decision to leave Pakistan for return to India instead. So, there are Muslims like Raja Mehdi Ali Khan, Quran ul Ain Hyder and my father did not make any mistake in settling in India despite having the choice not to, as they were in Pakistan after its creation.

माला सिन्हा पर फिल्माया फिल्म "अनपढ़" का गाना ( आपकी नजरो ने समझा प्यार के काबिल मुझे) और साधना पर फिल्माया फिल्म "वो कौन थी" का गाना ( लग जा गले कि फिर वो हसीं रात हो ना हो ) ऐसे गाने हैं जो बिना म्यूजिक के भी बहुत अच्छी तरह से गाये जाते हैं और पसंद किये जाते हैं।

Nice biography presented by you about Raja Mehdi Ali khan. He was also the nice Poet for children. In 1960's era his Poetry for children were been published in monthly Khilona Dehli which was very nice & decent magazine for children. I am seeking any copy of such magazine but not received. (Fan with Love from Pakistan)
