Fr, love to see people playing without bias like that. One of my streamers used to get targeted a lot because he's well known and strong, and seeing that hurt a lot.
This reminds me of the time I had to use Yve as a roamer even though I was first pick because our s5 chose another mage and immediately went mid without buying roam boots. And the time I used Floryn on exp lane because our s5 chose another roamer and bought roam right away. Welcome to Solo Q indeed.
I have the experience the same when I was playing Floryn. I ask my teammate why they picked another roam hero. They replied that they thought floryn is meant to be in the mid lane ;-;. Turns out they'd never encountered a Floryn user whether an enemy or a teammate.
Happened with me too. Someone from my team picked gloo, since he went exp thought he wouldn't take roam. But he did, and since I (fighter) was mid with the mage had to take roam
fr same already decided to play as a jungler as karina but our s5 just had to pick aamon to jungle when we needed a tank so i had to play karina as a roamer,karina tank build feels diff ngl.
As a yve user, i highly suggest you to build magic shoes and enchanted talisman instead of building demon shoes and ice queen wand right away... Magic shoes and enchanted talisman really hepls in reducing the cooldown and helps a lot during teamfights....
i would stick with his build, the build you suggested here will make yve’s utility be render useless without the slow from the item. And your mana in the early game will be consumed really fast bcuz of the cdr, and waiting to build enchanted talisman is hell of a run. - I do not recommend this build path.
one of my favorite hero and my highest winbrate is yve i loved using her since day 1 back then her first skill was op no need to ult ahaha just second and first is enough i miss her old ult aswell
Yve is the best poke mage to annoy enemies in my opinion. Her second skill is good to damage and slow enemies and first skill to damage and speed up buff a bit.
@@conorfrost6866 one thing about Yve is that, she has a defensive skill (sorta, which is her ultimste) and the speed increase from her 1st skill is easier to obtain than Xavier's speed increase.
As a Yve main I can confirm this is true she's very good even tho she isn't as op as before She can poke with 2nd and 1st skill and deal tons of damage and zone with the ult + the added bonus of slow 1st skill is very flexible when your chasing an enemy (which I don't recommend unless there a mm or Mage)
Yve is totally useless in solo rank.. When you ult you can't move, which makes you an extremely easy target. And most of the times your teammates don't protect you in solo rank.
In this assassin meta, it's really hard to play yve. Aamon, Harley just massacred me last two times I picked her. I've been sticking with Khadita, Lunox, Eudora since then.
I mean every mage is food for assassin , yve is good when it comes to team fight. I played a lot of match where we won a lot of loosing matches with yve.
@@Cyra.43 I barely got two items before the game ended, other than my boots. The second item I bought was radiant armor. By then, we're level 8/9 to their 12/13, and had barely any damage to stop the onslaught. We couldn’t even burst down their lifesteal moskov 3v1. Yve is good with pokes, zoning, slows, and against tanky opponents she provides incredible support. Although I only have 120ish games with a pre-nerfed Yve and a 60%wr in soloq, she was a beast in the tank meta. But unlike burst mages, her threat level falls off if enemy starts snowballing. When I play one-shot mages, even if we are losing, their squishes have to play extra vigilant fearing an ambush. With Yve, unless you're fed, they can outheal any damage you can do. Tldr: You can not rely on your soloq teammates, so try not to play heroes that require team coordination.
It’d be nice and interesting to see your defeated games but show all valuables lessons that most players would gain and relate to. Just see if good player like beto have something in common with regular player. 😎
Yve is very strong in the current meta, I can say she is a very good pick if u want a well-rounded mage. Her limitations are mostly mobile heroes, diving heroes, cc, burst dmg, and Yve is not an independent hero per se, she’s very reliable if the jungler or tank is roaming with her. If independent mages is what you want, Lylia, Lunox, or Valentina are better choices. But meta mages are mostly meant to roam with the tank/support roamer to either help the jungler or sidelaners, or cause chaos for the enemies and I think Yve is one of the best because her skill sets make her very powerful in teamfights such as neutrals objectives, buff invasion, pushing, etc. While she is not as annoying compared to Pharsa or Xavier, she is pretty good for a mage with long-range artillery.
I have a feeling that I'm paying for betosky's winstreak with my losestreak xD I get 3mm, layla first pick(48% wr), jungler trolling instead of ending the game because his buff was taken, etc etc The funniest part is before mythic it felt way more balanced, and now I just can't get a good team at all

Betosky! A couple games ago when you played Gloo I was the YuZhong!! I’m really trying to climb the ranks with him. He’s my favorite hero. But it’s so difficult with op meta heroes… anyways GGs!
I agree with betosky, playing roam and midlaner is so much more fun HAHA Playing exp feels like having a very leechy girlfriend (in this case it's the lane)
I love yve but I feel like she suffers from support syndrome in that she can't really carry by herself :( novaria seems like she's going to fall into this category too which is sad as a soloq main because she's the most fun I've had playing a hero in a while. at least I enjoy cecilion and xavier since they can turn games around much easier 😩

Every Chou player i met wants to become Braxy. And they all come to kill the mm or mage just like Beto here. And they all get silver or bronze. The pattern is so predicting.
I think you're really going to like Novaria, she is even better at poking than Yve and all of her skills provide vision. Unfortunately I think she is also going to be perma banned because of how annoying she is.
As a melissa main, on one side I have no sympathy for any melissa who doesn't get tough boots over swift boots against 3 magic, on the other, GOD they made her life so hard by not ganking, a melissa has no reason to lose to a hanabi on the lane.

Whenever I play yve it’s a great game … for me. I’m so reliant on my jungle and mm to end the game and I hate that about the mid lane. Anyone have tips?

Fun fact: he played for them in the past as a midlaner and mutually agreed to leave the team. It's different being a serious pro player and someone who puts together content.
