SPT is the modded version of single player also it does have the "new" PvE mode which is single player or multiplayer if you want to play with friends.

@@william_sk8368wrong, new versions of SPT come out frequently with new live content and features, just usually 1 wipe behind.

@@william_sk8368 It does, no idea where you get the impression that it doesn't. Takes a few months to update SPT after each wipe but you can always play whichever patch live Tarkov is on.

@@william_sk8368 on the contrary it does. the official SPT discord announces the updates when they're near. its usually a patch behind current tarkov

SPT is amazing. The AI PMC's with SAIN, Questing Bots and Looting bots is like PvP, only harder and without the cheating. Anyone who tells you SPT is an easy option, hasnt played it.

That armor was brought by pmc into the raid not found in raid as it didnt spawn there meaning you cant turn it in for that task either look into stashes or scavs

we have the exact same presets and mod list =D so cool that we started playing at literally the exact same time. my favorite part about SPT has been how astronomically better the performance is - turns out i can actually compete with kitted pmcs when im not battling frame rates and desync. plus that sweet near-instant map load time!

Please give Realism mod a try. It changes the game immensely. Still don't know what you want to do as a goal for the series but I will definitely watch it. Maybe an idea for a raid is to go in with a basic M4 and try to get parts to upgrade it in raid and each survive you invest parts into that weapon until it is decked out or you die with it.

interactive map, compass with indicators, all the info about items in raid, it can be enjoyable Maybe if I upgrade my PC I will check spt again

The Tarbank body armor never had the white checkmark at the bottom right, even when you were looting it. I guess Player PMC equipment isn't found in raid, I don't remember that bein the case, but memory is hazy on that. EDIT: I guess only SCAV equipment counts.

You got to repair your guns when you go into raid brother the lower the durability the higher chance of jams and malfunctions

Loving some Tarkie content. This has me strongly considering picking it up, because like you I don't have time to keep up with MP. My only question is if this SPT thing will get blown up somehow by the devs cashgrab $250 thing they are selling.

A version of the game that gives you queue times for a single player lobby + PMC AI that's just copypasted raiders + zero customization, all for 250 bucks? In what world does that ever outcompete SPT and its customizability? Even legally they can't do much to shut the project down, it doesn't touch live progress, it requires a legal copy of the game to use, and will always be completely free.

You go to where you got the automated launcher for spt, top right of that website has a mods tab, you can search and download mods from there

I'm wondering what the endgame of this is like. Once you're chadded out. Presumably there's no wipes to naturally reset you so I guess you just get to a point where you have so much stuff that the mod isn't fun anymore then start a new PMC?

Sorta, I think the ai will get better gear as you progress which could make it more challenging
