can u do a video of getting full head to toe makeover from the worst salon? telling them a fake story that u want to show your boyfriend who cheated on u what he is missing out
Exactly. Just needs to better color match lol. But his kit was big, you can see he likes what he does. Maybe overcharging so he can get some better shades of foundation. Lmao But he does good makeup, maybe work on the cleanliness, and better color match and he can be good to go.
He definitely had potential and some sort of skills maybe. He just needed the right kits and some really necessary make-up classes. Atleast its better than all the other places our Judy has gone to. However it was pricy too. It wasn't worth it. It shouldn't have cost that much.
He’s not capable of doing make up and that’s it. This was absolutely disrespectful and disgusting. If you’re not a make up artist and even can keep up with something BASIC like hygiene, you can’t do this. He shouldn’t be allowed to even open a beauty salon.
I feel bad for him. He just needs more support. Maybe to be taught a little more. Nothing wrong with that. The fact that lady told him he had to charge extra because they cost money was a likely demeaning. Hope he finds a way to excel in that career. ❤️
It’s a mystery how your skin still looks flawless after everything it been through; from dirty brushes to dirty hands. I envy your patience. I wouldn’t let any of those makeup artists touch my sensitive skin
His eyeshadow technique/blending is honestly great. his color choice for foundation is awful, he didnt do any skin prep which urked me and the lip color NO but the eyeshadow was blended beautifully. makes me believe this guy has def potential and just needs better products and more practice.
i always wonder how much the owners of salons impact muas. like it seem.like a stingy place like maybe dont order sponges or disposable wands so at a point it like a chef working in bad kitchen they stop caring maybe.
To get a more fair and accurate comparison, she should ask the more professional MUA's to do dramatic makeup, too. That's what she asks for in these less established places, but at those more high-end places, she gets really toned down natural looks. I'd be curious to see how well these eyes would compare to a pro's eyes with the same color and idea.
She most likely picks out the bold colors cause they are harder to work with , in these less establish places she knows they are not going to do as well on it, so more views for her on these disasters. I thought this guy did really good on her eye but the coloring is too stark for her pale skin... I don't believe this is his fault this is most likely her picking out terrible colors and expecting him to work miracles.
Judy, you should come to Mexico city. There's a place called "a la antigüita" where they give you a vintage makeover and hairdo from any decade you want (from 1920 to 1970). I bet you would look amazing in 70s makeup with your beautiful big eyes
The uncomfortable laughing is what I loved most lol, the “I think I have dents now” got me lol… and I agree with you! He does have talent! The colors were ehhhhh but the application was really pretty awesome! I’m a cosmetologist/makeup artist, and I definitely appreciate when someone is talented! I love your videos!!! :)
the lady saying "that's it... they cost money" as if they're getting the rest of their products for free. everything costs money! but I'm glad they didn't charge you extra for them even though $80 should include that ANYWAY!
I feel like he’d thrive as a costume makeup artist, where they do intricate designs on people. Or for runway modeling, or for broadway. Could you imagine if he had the correct and CLEAN tools at his disposal? He’s got some application skills! Just…someone get him some new sponges and correct lighting first, please. 😂☺️
@@empichel5690 u ever wash cheap ass brushes n not even that the cost of some good brush sets cheap fall apart first time trying to wash em n 2 300 not including make up n gor think if hes even getting any paying business as well were money to pay for all that in one go
It’s sad but coming from a similar working environment I understand that he probably rarely gets clients and is very eager and excited to finally have one so he can make his commission. I bet he told her he’d take the loss from his commission because of how excited he was to do whatever he wanted after waiting to try to get in at least that one client.
At last someone said it 😢 I think he is passionate but he is poor look at how the lady said she won’t give anymore stones because it costed so much and what if he doesn’t even own the kit and they wont let him clean it We never know what one is going through
My heart broke when they were talking about selling the perfume. You could tell by the tone in her voice that she was really hoping she had something that could be sold for a profit and that money meant something. You could tell by the tone in his voice when he replied that he really didn’t want to tell her it was used, but it was because he felt a responsibility to her. I hope that no one has to work in an environment where they are pressured into maintaining unhygienic standards. Representing yourself as a makeup artist and not pursuing further education and training is one thing. Working in a place that won’t allow you to be hygienic is an entirely different thing and no employee deserves that.
This is a very good point. Especially when in other countries, we can't assume that working environments are the same as our home countries. It also comes down to education. If health & safety is not so stringent in a country, for example, there could be practices that are commonplace there but illegal here. At the very least, he didn't insult Judy and his technique wasn't overly terrible. I appreciate you commenting a "counter argument" as, I'll be honest, it's not something I had thought of.
WHEN THE SPONGE FELL ON THE FLOOR I SAID TO MYSELF THERES NO WAY HES GOING TO PICK IT UP AND PUT IT ON HER POOR FACE AND HE DID AND I ALMOST HAD TO STOP WATCHING THE VIDEO. Girl I evny your bravery and your skin cause after all its been through its still flawless
The eyes are brilliant and he took his time with that shading. I think if he had a bigger make up kit with more colour options for brows, face and lips he’d be really good bless him! The green looks great tho. Also it’s cute he added gems and nice he didn’t charge when the other lady was moaning about it to him. I like him!
Judy I don't even wear makeup...I never thought I would be watching these kind of videos ,but my little sister showed me one of your videos and I now I pretty much watched all of your videos..you are hilarious keep up the great work
Sooooooo many makeup artists do too much when you give them free reign! I think it’s harder to keep yourself in control and know when to stop, then to keep going…
@@crazyowlgirlcncowner Even if they were Swarovski a crystal that size would cost close to nothing. But they're not crystals at all, they're plastic. Also, fun fact: There's this town in Belgium called Antwerp where you can buy diamonds that size with 7$ USD per kilogram. They're made from chipped pieces that result when cutting bigger diamonds which go into jewelry.
You gave him TOTAL artistic freedom, of course he’s going to use it as an opportunity to do some crazy shit lol after doing the same brown Smokey eye for two weeks straight
@@a3a231 well I’m guessing in that country the norm is dark skin so he wouldn’t have ivory foundation. It’s like a black personality going to Iceland and expecting them to have black foundations!! Judy does my head in anyways with her sound effects!
@@louisecoffey9843 I have many latinas friends who arent dark skinned lmao u Americans think every Mexican has got really tanned skin but they are not all tanned
@@louisecoffey9843 ???? I'm Latina and this is just a racist assumption. In a real makeup salon, you get your foundation in the right color. He is just bad.
I don’t understand all these makeup artists using dirty brushes and tools!!! That’s rule #1 of being a makeup artist… always sanitize and clean after each client 🤦🏼♀️
Did he drop the sponge onto the floor, then pick it up and use it on Judy's face! I would be naming and shaming these salons so people will avoid with all costs! Can't believe he mixed in the green eyeshadow with the concealer. Then went onto use this colour of foundation. Judy you need awards for this job!!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Judy you need to tell us what face cleansers and moisturisers you use because after all these dirty thick make up transformations your skin is beautiful ❤
I really wish he would have stopped after he took the tape off - the eyes actually looked really nice! You can tell he actually has some sort of talent, unlike all the other MUAs you've been too!
Girl when I read the video title.. I was thinking majority of these MUAs rip you off! Especially when you have to walk out the door looking the way they made you! I don't understand how they think it's okay to send someone who paid money out the door looking like they do! I don't think they'd leave the salon lookin how they do you!
Oh I 100% agree. His skills are great. He just needs help with shading, depth, not being so HEAVY handed, and color matching brows/concealer/foundation.
You are right-I really did like the eyes-they were a strong look, but well applied. Eta: made it to the end. And I don’t hate it! The foundation is not a cute color, but the finish is nice.
The eyes are looking quite nice compared to makeups from previous videos. I'm curious how that look would look on Judy if she got it professionally done😁
Yeah, I keep wavering trying to decide if the makeup looks good or not. I think the eyes are really good though. Even the lipstick isn’t the worst (if it was better quality though).
I agree, the foundation is hard to match in these places because in Ecuador you would not see many people with a skin so light like hers so they dont bother to buy it, but if you match that make up with a dress and a hair done then would not look so bad as just with plain clothes. But then we have the the rudeness of the other person, which to be fair, the guy's only fault here was to pick up the sponge after droping it and having dirty brushes. He probably didnt though his coworker was going to be so mean about the stones
Question 1. Why do they always choose outrageous colours for the eyes? Question 2. Why do they never have clean brushes/sponges? Question 3. Why do they never have a chair suitable to do someone’s make up in? Question 4. Why are they still in business?
1. Trying to make it different 2. They have few sponges and probably too lazy to clean 3. They think it is suitable enough and can't spend more for a chair 4. Because they do it for money not passion
@@newasentanez5289 that's not the way our immune systems work lol. Being in contact with germs doesn't strengthen your immune system😂 it can help with allergies but that's about it. You get antibodies when you get sick to help with next time, sure. But being hygienic can stop you from getting sick in the first place. If being in contact with germs helped our immune system, then the cold wouldn't even be a thing. Having antibodies for a virus that has a million strains is kind of pointless😂 that's why they can't make a vaccine for colds, there's too many to have an effective immunity against them. Unlike the flu which is typically one strain a year, but not always which is why sometimes a flu shot doesn't work
@@TheNinjaNiky yeah, i have an auto immune disease so when people say about dirt and germs being good for you and “training” immune systems i’m like 😐😐😐
@@lauryn6037 I know lol, you're born with what you got, and that's about it😂 it's just because of that stigma back in the day where parents were like let your kids eat dirt, it's good for their growing immune system🤣 don't worry about the E coli or anything, where training here🤦♀️😂
I love that you go to get your face covered in such colourful and wonderful stuff. You look so much better than you did before 🥰 these guys do an amazing job!
As a makeup artist i see so many great techniques lol. The tape is not the problem , I’ve seen many artists use it for a more clean looks , I have used it myself. But Lindas the nails and the dirty brushes 🥺
Imagine what it would look like if he got the colors right for you. I love green so it’s hard to watch this one. I can’t believe he fumbled that sponge and then went right back to using it on you! 😮
Oh my! You're right the eyes weren't bad until the undereye started. The color of your foundation! 🤢 Why? The color of your eyebrows! 😂 Why? That lipstick! I think he sat you up and said, Why Not? 🤷♂️ The poor skin around your eyes. Oh Judy, thank you for making us laugh, cry and cringe! All of us screaming, noooooo, when he picked up that makeup puff/thing off the floor and used it on your face. 🤯😭😱
That was the first thing I noticed! But it’s hair dye as Andrea wrote. I used to work at a salon and if I used crappy gloves, my nails would look like this for days. 🥲
I…see what he was going for? Lol But damn 💀 Also, that lady being like “Only (x amount) and no more, these cost money!” Came off as kind of rude. If the person is willing to pay for it, I mean…why not? Idk, that’s me lol
Think she was meaning it more to the man, as in these are from my kit and they cost me money so you can't 'be gifted' anymore. Tbf she's right if he wants to use gems he should have bought some for his own kit.
Yea, but do you really have those kinds of arguments in front of a client paying a premium price? If I were her I would have "gifted" the stones and then had that conversation with him later. These MUAs are always so unprofessional...poor Judy.
They can buy a whole sack of them sponges for a bloody £ from wholesale 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. "you helped him pick up something" Yeah e-coli 😂😂 Thanks for putting yourself through the ringer, you always look more beautiful walking in than you do walking out because you're just naturally gifted in that department. Blessings from Scotland. 🙏 🏴 🌹
He has potential, but he definitely needs real training! I will always ask for their qualifications before ever booking after seeing what you go through!! 😳💖
To be fair, I worked on makeup counters for a couple of years and I had no makeup "qualifications", only the inhouse training the company gave us and my own skill. I NEVER created abominations like this. I never used dirty brushes or stinking filthy sponges OFF THE FLOOR. I never used mascara or liquid lip straight from the tube without a disposable applicator. This isn't lack of "qualifications", this is complete lack of care and common sense which can't be taught.
@@lucyjane3803 I understand what you're saying, but I think it's different for women, especially those of us who wear makeup as we know how it's applied etc and, as you've said, Your own skill. The cleanliness thing I do agree with, it shows how unhygenic he must be in his own personal grooming. It's the arrogance of the man to assume he knows what he's doing just because he's seen a few videos. The fact that the women around him know what he is doing is wrong and don't stop him is just baffling. He does need training, but not just in cosmetology. I don't know how this girl keeps her cool when she goes into these places and actually let's them complete the look, even when she's clearly in pain sometimes?! I wonder how many illnesses she has had because if the cleanliness of these places and the utensils they use? How did they do during Covid (ok, that thought made me lol). I do wonder how these places are still up and running though, do people not raise complaints?? 🤢😳
He has real talent, just the correct colour eyebrow, foundation, powder and a softer lip colour and we would have a winner, Damn! That cut crease was really good! 🔥❤️
This reminds me of my cooking skills somehow. Like I know this and that, and result is (usually) pretty good for a home cook but I would never go and try to work in the restaurant as a chef the way I am know 😂😂😂
I have a difficult time seeing the less than clean tools used on your face Judy. Especially when they bring out a super dirty sponge. You are a fantastic sport to make these videos for us!! A thousand “Thank You’s”! ❤
The colors are not right for her skin tone. Looks like makeup for carnival in Brazil!!!! I domfeel, for the guy bcuz seems like his boss is worried about money. But you can be poorest of poor and be clean.
Judy never looks deathly pale until these artists put a foundation 4 shades the wrong colour on her. How is it so hard to colour match her tone when there's literally millions of foundations out there that would match 💀💀💀
She looks so much better with natural glowy warm-neutral toned makeup, I never like these harsh dark heavy looks these muas try to pull off on her they take so much away from her natural beauty instead of inhancing it
They ALWAYS use the wrongest of wrong colors of lipstick. I'd use a lighter shade so that the eye makeup and lipstick aren't competing for the attention. A light pink that actually compliments your skin tone or a nude tone would look much better. The lipstick AND eyeshadow both so bold throw out, "LOOK I'M A CLOWN!" kind of Vibes to me every dang time. Dramatic eye/toned down light color lip or dramatic lip/ subtle eye and brow are much better combinations in my personal opinion. Still very beautiful either way🤗🌺
